Tried many other converters and adapters. None worked to provide adequate bandwidth for an external LCD screen from my USB3.0 port on my Lenovo Yoga laptop. This conversion to DVI made it possible. All parts were included in the package.

This product is great! Allowed me to connect my older, but still good monitors that use VGI. My desktop went down in my home office and this allowed me to connect my yoga 2 laptop to the 26" monitor. It made online meetings during COVID-19 more effective. Thank you!!

Theres not much to say about it, as its just a charger and it does its job of charging devices. The compact design is nice and the red cable clip is a nice touch. Its impossible to know how wellbuilt it is without opening it up, so I just hope it lasts, but at least its fairly cheap, especially when purchased with the computer during the Black Friday pricing. The main issue I have with it is that USB plugs are somewhat fragile, and this is a straight plug that will stick out from the side of the computer, an issue exacerbated by the fact many Lenovo laptops have both USBC ports on the same side. So theres a decent risk of the connector andor port breaking, and if the connector breaks, the power supply brick, which is where most of the cost is not to mention the ... MoreTheres not much to say about it, as its just a charger and it does its job of charging devices. They could and should have made it modular, made the connector rightangled or at least have that as an option, or even made it magnetic. I ended up buying some rightangle adapters CC to go between the computer and the charger, which seems to work well, still charges fast, keeps the cord from sticking straight out and doing a uturn since the ports are often on the opposite side of the outlet, and will hopefully result in the adapter breaking instead of the charger if something happens, but its annoying to have to spend the money on them and the time researching them due to Lenovos poor design. To be fair, most, if not all, brick chargers are like this, but that doesnt make it any less stupid of a design and doesnt excuse them for not improving it, and a mediocre design deserves a mediocre rating.
I'm by no means a "techie", but must manage my technology myself, having WFH for 30 years. I realized that I needed a second monitor for virtual meetings, and researched the Lenovo site for a compatible adaptor for my 3 year old computer. This adaptor arrived, with brief, but clear instructions, and in less than 15 minutes, I had two monitors.
After two hours with technical support, downloading various drivers and trying multiple output signals from my Lenovo Y500, the technician tells me that it doesn't work, and this piece of technology does not support multiple monitor output. I'm like...okay, so Lenovo is selling a product for multiple monitor throughput but it doesn't work with Lenovo products. And she says yes. Then I ask: Why would Lenovo put something on their website and sell a product they know wouldn't work? She says she doesn't know. Anyways it was a huge disaster, and I will be filing my RMA ticket right now.
I bougth this item for a Thinkpad T440 for office use to extend the display qty from 2 to 3. The install was very easy and quick. The product do its job well. The picture quality is good and till now I have not experienced any problem. I am very satisfied with the product.
This monitor adapter works great! I ordered 5 for my office. One was defective, but Lenovo replaced it for me very quickly and efficiently.
After a quick driver download from Lenovo (PC) or the DisplayLink homepage (Mac), this adapter works transparently. Every so often I will have a tiny bit of lag when I'm transferring large files between the computer and my Seagate 5TB external drive, but other than that, it's easily as capable as the internal Intel graphics of the Macbook.
