I'm a thin person 5'-11 175lb. These tapered jeans are too tight below the knee but above the knee they're perfect. Next order will be straight leg instead of tapered leg.

I saw another review that said the jeans arrived without a hem. Well they were correct my jeans arrived with the bottoms all torn up like someone tried to alter them prior to arrival. Fit was good but the pants weren’t wearable. Something wrong with this whole batch apparently. I can’t believe someone like Macy’s would deliberately mail me defective pants?? Disappointing……

Absolutely brilliant, top notch. These are truly amazing jeans-- long lasting and evolving. I got a 33 W L32 in light blue and 34W L32 in dark blue. I have to say the 34 is my true size, the slim fit is to absolute perfection. The fit in the thighs is just heavenly. If you've wide or muscular thighs these are perhaps the only true slim fit pair I've come across. The 33 works perfectly as a skinny fit- - with the material stretching beautifully to accomodate you. The nature of the usage combined with the wearing due to the size add to the comfort.

Earlier this year, I discovered the 512 Slim Taper and fell in love. The two major winning features for me are the tapered leg, which just looks and feels so good, and the stretch, which gives me room to move. For that first pair of 512 Slim Taper jeans, I only purchased one color. Since I loved the fit so much, I knew I had to have another color. As a person who likes darker colors, I was drawn to this “Dark Wash” and I wasn’t disappointed. Just like my first pair, this new color gives me the range of just being casual or dressing up.I’ve said it before, but I’ll say it again. The 512 Slim Taper is now my first jean of choice.

I purchased them in Avenger (Washed Black), my favorite color in the collection, which looks really natural without an over exaggeration of unnecessary artificial whiskers in the top block. I normally wear a size 32 x 32, but I find with stretch denim that sizing down an inch or two is best as they tend to slide down as I walk, so I went with 30 x 32. The rule of thumb is that your jeans should fit around your waist without the use of a belt and you should be able to pinch 1/2" to 1" of fabric on the side of your thigh, any less is too tight and anymore is too loose. These jeans are the slimmest fit available all the way through from top to bottom, almost skinny fit. That being said, I don't think that the way they appear on the models in the photos ... I really love these jeans all around, but what sold me was the taper. They're tapered snug around the ankle with an inch of breathing room and the inseam wears around 2 inches shorter despite purchasing them in my usual 32" length. Still though, they fit perfect. Don't buy into the whole "This fit is best for teenagers and not for adults" garbage, the sarcastic and biased opinion of some snobbish fashion magazine writer is usually irrelevant. I'll be 37 at the end of this month and I know that I'm in good enough shape to wear this fit. And other than a healthy physique, it's really more about your cultural style, for example, what you're into or what music you listen to.
I love the slim taper 34/32, makes my legs look slim and long!!!! The 34/30 is too slim down the bottom so if you want a comfy fit try the 34/32. They look and feel amazing, soft but rugged too. You can depend on Levis and Myer. Great delivery and returns all round. I am c.5ft 7 and weigh around 77kg. This dark denim colour can be dressed up or down. I would buy every colour if I could but they don't all suit me. I have 5 pairs already!
I love the 512 cut and fit and have worn for years. Unfortunately, on trying to purchase several new pairs this year I have found very poor quality control with some jeans arriving with obvious stains, or inconsistent sizing being too short or too long. I've returned about 10 pairs and have only managed to get 1 decent pair that fits despite being all the same size. I have also had very significant shrinkage after washing a 512 'Biologia' pair that is no longer wearable and have had to return. Whilst sizing has always been inconsistent I feel is very poor currently with low quality fabrics that shrink or have reduced wear time. Must do better!!!
Ordered 2 pairs of Slim Taper 512 Levi’s, same pant just different colours. I was absolutely blown away with how different the fit was between the two pairs. The first pair was easily 2” longer than tagged. As well the waist size was at least one size larger than tagged. The first pair of pants were so stiff they felt like they had been soaked in wallpaper paste and then allowed to dry.
A young lone traveller peered into the sea that is online shopping retailer sites. He discovered a most auspicious love for jeans and denim related things. Upon his journey of browsing through multiple retailers looking for the perfect pair to accompany his legs, the young traveller discovered the range by Levi's. In his excitement he ordered the 512s, hoping they would be as beautiful as they were presented to be. When the mighty day came, and he donned the lovely set of denim, he exclaimed in joy at the masterful quality and love they had been made with! They sat well at his hips, they even ventured down long enough on his legs! But alas, the traveller was disappointed to discover.. the pair of jeans did not in fact sit high enough upon his hips, and any time he ...
