I shouldn't have listened because they are way too big. And now my size unavailable. I wear a 29 in ribcage, anywhere from a 29 to a 31 in wedgies, and now in 501's it seems to be a 30-31? I ordered these in a 30 because I fit the 30s in long jeans and while they fit, they're very tight. I'm sure they'll stretch with wear, but that's a gamble whether they'll stretch enough. On the bright side, there's no waist gap. Also, the color I received is *not* what is pictured. It's a medium wash--pretty, but not that light blue on the model. The hem is very frayed, not the fresh cut pictured either. They do make your bum look fine. Likely will return or exchange for a size up. Should've ordered multiple sizes because there's no consistency.

Fit smaller than the 501 jeans. Bought my waist size but the hips/butt were too tight so bought 1 size up and they fit well. If you are more curvy this style will not fit your hips/butt unless you are ok with gapping on the waist. Otherwise they are good quality, look cute and just long enough to avoid chaffing.

I like the looks of these, and the fit is lovely. I cannot keep them, however, because they are nearly impossible to button and unbutton. The material around the button holes is stiff as a board. This may change after wearing and washing, but I didn't want to take the chance.

This was my first Levi's purchase and I was looking for a longer jean short that hugs nicely but isn't too tight or uncomfortable. I can safely say these are exactly what I was looking for! They have the perfect amount of stretch without losing their shape. These are going to be my new summer staple.
With Leviās, itās always hard to tell which size will fit depending on the style and material but I read the reviews saying these ran small so I ordered a size up and it was too big in the waist and basically all around. It made me look kind of frumpy. Iām not sure if I want to return and order my regular size or just return them. Maybe the length is not right for me either, being at 5ā3 with short legs. I got the Sure Time wash and I do like the wash but the fit just didnāt work for me.
I have a hard time finding jean material bottoms that fit my thighs but donāt cause a waist gap, and these fit surprisingly well. The length provides good coverage, and the wash and hem allow for versatile wear. If there was a length option that was just one inch shorter I would probably go with that, but between this length and a two or three inch inseam this style would certainly be my choice.
They are so cute and comfy! They are the perfect length to ensure they donāt continually ride up all night. The shorts also have a little slit on the side that helps the shorts not look too long if you arenāt used to longer jean shorts. They pair perfectly with a nice shirt or a plain tshirt.
