I was extremely impressed when the monitor showed up earlier than expected. The monitor was nicely protected, boxed well and 'simple' to add the base and get started. It's a bit tricky getting used to the master switch which handles ON/OFF, input, contrast, brightness, settings ... but once I got the hang of it I became a pro. The display is fantastic and I quickly became a fan. The colors are rich, deep, crisp and clear. the picture quality is equal excellent on all settings up to and including the 2560 x 1440 display. The base sits up nicely so as to not interfere with my keyboard and mouse. It has a port for two HDMI's, display port w/cable and speaker/headset plug. The cable could have been a foot longer but it just works. The 32" inch monitor is huge and I ... MoreI was extremely impressed when the monitor showed up earlier than expected. I purchased this monitor at a reduced price in exchange for providing 'true and honest feedback' That part is easy - it's fantastic!! As this is my first gaming monitor, my review is solely based on this but I love this thing!! No ghosting because the refresh rate works. Glare-free screen, height and tilt adjustment, excellent viewing angles, resolution is crisp, easy UI, the crosshairs!! I love the crosshairs!! Crosshairs are a great addition!! I like the red or green color choices but I wish there where style choices for crosshairs. I'm more partial to using either the circle with a dot in the middle or the crosshair. But those are just minor compared to how awesome this monitor is!! I'm glad I bought it and I will continue to enjoy it for the coming years!!

WOW is all I can say! This monitor is simply fantastic. A bit about myself qualifying me to write this review.. I am a professional tech consumer. Like the majority of people I don’t get super caught up with numbers or stats but have extremely high standards when it comes to the actual experience of using tech. Also full disclosure I received this monitor at a slight discount in exchange for an honest review.. My use case. Thanks to COVID I am working from home these days and was looking for a monitor that was great from a work perspective (excel, email, some basic graphic work) as well as a monitor that was a solid performer in playing games. Crisp, clear and just a joy to work on. I spend a lot of time in spreadsheets (7ish hours a day) and it was just such a pleasure to work on this big screen. This thing knocks the socks off my 32inch other brand monitor at work in sharpness. When you stare at rows and columns for long enough, you really know what quality is and isn’t. Gaming As mentioned I am not a super gamer. Having said this I have found myself playing longer because the colors are really bright and there is no lag. I didn’t realize that my previous monitor was such a bottleneck in my gaming and assumed it was my GPU. Suddenly cornering in Forza seems super smooth. All in all, I am super happy with this monitor.

I have heard complaints about the monitor stand but for a monitor this size, a VESA mount really is the way to go. The menu is easy to use, and when you're playing a game in a well lit area it looks great. But as soon as it gets slightly dark in a game, the black smear effect is so horrific it feels like the frame rate drops to 60 fps. In the attached pictures I entered an indoor area and it's like I had a drunk effect attached to my screen. Everywhere I turn there is a very noticeable motion blur effect. It is actually unplayable in my opinion, I don't know how this monitor has such good reviews. This is a problem with VA panels, but I thought it would only be slightly noticeable in certain instances.

We picked up the LG 32GN600-B HDR monitor recently to setup our new next-generation game consoles for the kids. The size is great, the thin bezels are beautiful and the looks certainly fit into the gaming station we setup. As far as low latency for gaming, this thing has no issues. However, I found out that the native resolution of this monitor, QHD (2560 x 1440) is not supported by one of the next-gen consoles! This forced me to run at 1080p which is much lower than what I was aiming for. Hopefully this console will update support in the future, but until then I'm stuck with last gen resolution on a great monitor. I came to realize that this display was really meant for PC gaming and not console gaming after the fact, which is entirely my own issue and not a fault ... MoreWe picked up the LG 32GN600-B HDR monitor recently to setup our new next-generation game consoles for the kids. I came to realize that this display was really meant for PC gaming and not console gaming after the fact, which is entirely my own issue and not a fault of the display. Also, be aware that there are no integrated speakers on the monitor which you may normally want for a gaming console. We haven't had a chance to setup our gaming PC with this monitor yet, but look forward to testing out the super-high refresh rates for my FPS games. Colors look good on the display and the HDR is nice to have, but the max brightness was a little less than I would have liked to see for a high-end display. If you are a twitch PC gamer this is an excellent choice for you. You probably already have some nice speakers with your rig and the refresh rates will be really nice. If you are looking to use this for console gaming, you may find that it falls a bit short and should probably look at a 4k native display with integrated speakers. We received this product at a discounted price in exchange for our honest opinion.
I got this monitor to match my other one (at least visually), and it seems like it'll be good. My other one has served me well, but this one is also slightly worse than my other one in terms of usability and not being G-Sync compatible. For the pros, it has most of the stuff that my other one does. It has a crosshair, HDR, quick response time, etc. However, as I said, it is lacking G-Sync, and the monitor stand isn't adjustable, except for the vertical angle, whereas my other one can at least be raised and lowered. The monitor I got also appears to have been a return since it was missing the tape stuff that you find on new devices, it was fingerprinted, and everything was out of the bags. Great monitor if you get a good deal on it. This monitor is a great budget 1440p monitor. Fast response time, good colors using SDR, and you can definitely tell a difference when using 1440p. Although, I have a LG 32GN550 which I think is better overall than this monitor. This monitor does not look great when displaying at 1080p. I noticed that this monitor has more screen tearing when connected to my laptop compared to the 550. Also, this monitor does not support 165hz over HDMI. DON’T buy this monitor if you plan on using it to regularly watch HDR content. The HDR is a downgrade from the 550-B and is very dark most of the time, even with the brightness all the way up. This review is for monitor LG 34WP65G. This monitor is huge and esthetically beautiful. I like the minimalist design with no visible buttons. The red accent design makes it look really sleek. The monitor seems big but surprisingly light which makes it easy to move around. Height adjustment is easy and intuitive. I like the fact that the monitor screen is matte instead of glossy. Even though this monitor sits next to a window, there was no noticeable glare. The viewing angle is pretty good. All the connections of this monitor are in the back with latest digital connectors (i.e. usb-c, display port and hdmi). Everything is plug-and-play straight out of the box. Picture quality is pretty good for its size and resolution given that it’s not a 4k monitor. Fonts are smooth and easy to read. I especially really enjoy watching movies on this monitor due to its wide screen size. I watched countless of hours of Netflix and youtube videos and didn’t really have eye fatigue. With its max 75Hz refresh rate, it is considered on the low end for gaming monitor. However, the built-in amd freesync helps alleviate any visual artifacts or ghosting when playing games. There are also different game modes to choose from: game mode 1, game mode 2, fps, and rts which can further help with gaming. Although this monitor has many features, I wished it had a built-in webcam to make it convenient to have zoom calls or playing game online. Webcam is almost indispensable nowadays due to distance learning, work from home and online gaming. Overall, I really liked this monitor and would definitely recommend it given its balance of feature-rich and price. *Disclaimer: I received this product at a discounted price in exchange for my honest opinion on this product.
First things first the looks and fit and finish. The bezels are very thin, almost near bezel less. When on you don’t really see the outer trim, in a matte finish that doesn’t give off any glare. The depth and thickness is very minimal, you can easily mount it and not have a stick out from the wall. The bottom legs are adorned by a red trim along the length of the legs that support the monitors. The rear has has the same Red trim around the circular bezel and below the UltraGear logo. Not a log of monitors look good from the back, but this one does. You have 1 DisplayPort and 2 HMDI, along with a slim Power connector. Overall the looks of the monitor is very premium, it is solid, and does not wobble, no flimsily plastic very high quality. Overall the looks of the monitor is very premium, it is solid, and does not wobble, no flimsily plastic very high quality. Now the performance side, this was tested with both Nvidia, and AMD configurations for FreeSync and G-Sync. Using a test bench with AMD Ryzen 5950x, 32GB Ram and Nvidia RTX 3080 and AMD 6900XT. Both some of the higher end offerings out there. The RTX G-Sync only works on the Display Port, and Freesync works with HDMI. Both their respective software and drivers automatically detected the feature set and allowed me to enable Freesync or G-Sync very easily. Once enabled it was very noticeable in gaming performance. Tested from demanding games like Cyberpunk 2077 down to fast paced games like Fortnite and Warzone. Performance wise they both worked flawlessly with the 165hz refresh rate and 1ms response time. Heavy games like Cyberpunk that dip with frame rate allowed for a very smooth gaming experience when going from 100 FPS down to 60-50 on heavy scenes but it was very hard to notice due to the G-Sync being enabled, it kept the gaming smooth and fast not a drop to the eye. Games like Fortnite that are extremely fast paced allowed for a great smooth and seamless experience, no lag, no dips just fast. The built in cross hair also gave me an edge during hectic and fast paced matches. The 1ms response time really does remove the ghosting and blur when the speed of the game gets heated. Every ounce of performance counts when you are playing competitively, and having 165hz and 1ms mbr gives you a read edge and can mean the difference. Testing the HDR feature during gaming and movies was great! Once enabled windows allows for you take advantage of the deep dark blacks and vibrant color that really do pop! Games like Cyberpunk with dark and gritty scenes really take a new shape with easy to see smog, shadows and near glow of signs. It really does make a difference. When watching Movies with HDR on it allows for a more immersive experience with colors and really do shine through allowed me to get into the movie watching experience with is rarely done on a computer monitor. Also the website does not mention G-Sync capability but it does work right out of the box, no issues what so ever enabling it. Windows and Nvidia drivers recognize the feature and allow you to toggle it, likewise with the AMD adrenaline software it had similar experience with a pop up telling you that the Freesync feature was available, there was no difference in performance when it came to gaming on AMD or Nvidia, both allowed for a very smooth and no drop in performance gaming associated with the refresh rate features. Over all I would highly recommend this monitor to any serious gamer looking for the best 1440p QHD monitor with 165hz 1ms response time for the upper hand in competitive gaming! hit it where counts, you will not be disappointed with this one. Performance and looks to match.
I've owned this for a couple of months now. This is my first monitor of this size and resolution. Didn't know what to expect or how it would fit for my usage of 90% work and 10% games. Overall quite pleased. Color, resolution, and brightness are really good. Not too reflective in my environment, which is necessary considering the number of hours I spend staring at it while working. Beyond satisfied with performance during my occasional game play. I read about ghosting issues with VA panels while shopping, but don't really notice it while playing. However, I do sometimes see a black smear pop up in normal non-gaming usage. Not a big deal for me, but it definitely draws my eye. I read about ghosting issues with VA panels while shopping, but don't really notice it while playing. However, I do sometimes see a black smear pop up in normal non-gaming usage. Not a big deal for me, but it definitely draws my eye. For work (I'm a software developer), there are a couple of annoyances. Not "deal breakers", but they are noticeable and temporarily shift my attention to them rather than work. First is viewing angle. I tend to shift around a bit while working, and am able to notice a "halo" effect when working on a fullscreened application. A large area directly in front of my face is bright and clear while the surrounding area is slightly less so. I'd guess this could be mitigated by running apps in dark mode, but I'm not one of those people. If I have multiple apps open that are not full screen, which is my typical mode of operation on this huge screen, it's not as noticable. The second issue also happens in full screen apps. The sides of the open application (and probably top and bottom, but I don't notice it) appear to fold back at the very edge. More troublesome on scrollbars at the far right. This is due to the angle between the light source and the viewer (my face). Shifting to the side removes the effect. Still, depending on my position, it's sometimes a little tricky to hit a narrow scrollbar when the monitor is trying to hide it from me. This can also be mitigated by using apps not in full screen. Fortunately for me, there's so much real estate available on this thing that I can usually avoid these issues by running my windows at some smaller size and having many open and visible at once. I'm pleased with my purchase and would do it again.
The screen is VA which means it has trouble with darks/blacks, this can be greatly mitigated with tweaking the settings, key words to look for when looking up info about this is overshooting, ghosting. I use the screen over HDMI at 100Hz and with the "black stabilizer" feature maxed out ghosting is nearly non-existent. Note it supports 144Hz with HDMI, 165Hz using DP. Colours are 10/10, if you think of this as a 100Hz, beautiful colour monitor it's amazing value. Pushing it to it's limits though is an issue with all VA monitors. Literally all VA monitors so please don't have expectations like that. I can personally see a clear difference between 60Hz to 100Hz, but I can't see much of a difference between 100Hz to 165Hz.
