Got this monitor a few days ago, works perfect for me, if it had built in sound it would be 5 stars.

I bought this monitor to connect to my ASUS ROG Ally handheld gaming computer. And it displayed a beautiful picture. I am extremely impressed with this monitor, in every way. I especially am enjoying the curved screen and edge to edge display. Thank you LG!

This is a gorgeous monitor that has the fit and finish of higher end Piece of electronic equipment. Set up as a breeze, of course in all you had to do connect HDMI and power, cord and HDMI to your computer or laptop. I connected to laptop and have used it mostly for gaming, which I believe Tests the capability of the monitor the most. The display is simply gorgeous and love the way HDR seems to pop on the screen and things just come alive. The Size is great and gives an improved Enveloping experience over The monitor from the laptop. Sitting one or 2 feet away from it sucks me into the gameplay. I’ve also watched YouTube content on it and other applications such as Netflix and very happy with both SDR and HDR are displayed on screen. The slim profile is nice and I can fit it anywhere on a narrow desk, I feel that the bass takes up relatively small footprint and does not interfere or get in the way with any other desk, equipment or the computer or laptop itself. So this is a first time curved monitor owned and have had the LG brands of monitors and tvs. This is a gaming monitor which I’ll try with my PS5 at one point (currently using a 5k monitor for that), but I had the pleasure of connecting my ASUS Rog Ally (via HDMI) and my Mac computer (thru DP) and both looked stunning on this curved monitor. The number of ports is great for a monitor; but the high refresh rate advantage is by plugging into the DP port and I could switch over the rog ally to DP from HDMI. I have mounted this on my own VESA mount stand instead of the one it comes with.Everything about this monitor is good yet with one exception; the type of plug which will take up another outlet or two using a power strip. I think it is a bit absurd if you ask me. It was a surprise really. But I think this is because it’s a power adapter in one. I really don’t know how to describe it but for my other gaming monitor it goes from 3 prong plug to a power box or something being plugged in via a two prong type, then from that box into the monitor via a circle dc plug. Maybe that is the convenience of this plug but prepare to get a short 3prong extension cord maybe if you’re plugging into a power strip. But if you have a wall plate your good.

the LG Ultra Gear 27 inch monitor has been an amazing addition to our home. My husband has absolutely loved having it for all his laptop games. the 27 inch screen feels huge after using 20 inch before. He was definitely unsure about the curved edges when we first got it, but sees to not be bothered by it now.Pros: this monitor has a really fast refresh rate. we haven't had any issues with visual quality of playback. it was extremely easy to set up, and weighed much less than we expected. the instructions were useful and fairly easy to follow.Cons: it didn't come with a traditional HDMI cable, so we had to use our other cable from our previous monitor. it can't adjust up or down, which doesn't seem that big of a deal, until you need it to be an inch higher. and ... Morethe LG Ultra Gear 27 inch monitor has been an amazing addition to our home.
