I bought this in December 2019. Worked well for the first 2 years. Inverter defrost was not any better in comparison to other defrosting microwaves I have used before. Unfortunately the microwave began to spark a few months after the 2 year warranty finished - LG unable to offer further support. Disappointing for the price paid.

The controls are covered for the sake of esthetics, making it a pain if you're setting anything other than a timed cook at max power. Things got worse a couple days ago when something burst into fire. It wasn't metal inside the cooking area, but behind a panel inside the unit. I love this microwave. Heating,reheating, defrosting so good and evenly, nice upgrade from my cheap conventional microwave, so much better. It looks nice, so far easy to stay nice and clean and easy to clean. I use a dry microfibre cloth to wipe over front regularly and sometimes if need to inside and only tiny bit of water on cloth if need to but that's it but hasn't got dirty yet to give it a good clean, it's all it needs, but mostly just been a dry microfibre cloth to keep it nice and keep dust away and keep it looking nice on the front and that's all. I love it. So far so good. Love the tune it plays when turned on and especially when it finishes, it's nice short lovely tune, better than boring beep. Overall, very good microwave, very happy with it

Had this model for a month and still learning but actually enjoying all the features which actually do what they’re supposed to do! Interior is spacious in ratio to outer size but found I had to secure the base as there’s only two front legs, and just a single raised metal stump at the rear with no grip and the unit slides around which is unsafe. Good value inverter microwave for the price. Feet need to be redesigned as they let this model down. Otherwise would give 5/5.
We are happy with this microwave oven. The last one was not good as the press button mechanism on the door went and the door became unsafe. The way this door opens is much better The sound of a musical jingle instead of a constant beep when the function finishes is better. The stability design of the turntable is very good. The good lighting inside the microwave is a helpful feature.The feature for popular functions if helpful.It's reasonably quiet and well made and looks attractive. The front door feature for quick cooking is good once you work out the difference from the inside panel.The instructions for using it are a bit confusing. This could be improved. But we are happy with it and learning more about it as we find the need.
An efficient, effective little unit with phenomenal power. Not only does it cook well, but it also has a clean and minimal design with basic controls such as quick reheat on the front/outside of the door for easy access and additional various cooking settings located inside the unit - a tidier, sleeker finish that looks great in our kitchen. Very happy with our purchase!
Powerful and slick - a nice addition to the benchtop. Giving 4 stars as some marks have developed inside from either cleaning or grease - not really hardy but we use it all the time so it's cosmetic and that's not a huge concern. We've done everything from bacon to potatoes and even melting. It lives up to the expectations. Controls are easy to navigate. The only thing is it's so powerful we have had to adjust our times!

When it is finished cooking it plays a quick little song, which is a surprisingly nice touch to replace the more common and obnoxious "BEEEEEEEP" - the song is loud enough for the user to hear, but quiet enough that it doesn't penetrate walls or doors. Some people may disagree, as you DO need to read the manual in order to get the most out of the product, but the manual is quick and straight forward. I dont believe that the inclusion of instructions is any reason to label a product as 'difficult to use'. Build quality is great, but loses one star because the feet allow very small amounts of slippage every time the door is closed under normal conditions. Slippage is minimal and can be avoided if the door is closed gently.
Needed a smaller microwave. Performs exactly how a microwave should. Power is lower, so food may take a little bit more time to be heated safely. Otherwise, it is a small microwave that functions correctly. Outer control settings are strange, but entertaining nonetheless.
LG NeoChef 25L only used the microwave for less than a month so too early to talk about reliability, and have yet to use all the functions. Initial reactions are: LIKES The ability to adjust timer with electronic slide on door face. The variable power function right down to 10% power (i.e. 110 watts) though that could be improved by having a hold function rather than press for each decrease in power. DISLIKES Stupid music sound at completion of cooking and also a constant reminder every minute. Not the only one who dislikes this based on reviews on the internet. Because the door does not have an open button, you have to tug the door to open, this moves the whole microwave from its position.
