I absolutely love this microwave. It's sooooooo quiet especially compared to my old one. I was worried that it would slip on the shelf when opening the door each time so I put a non slip cupboard liner underneath and it doesn't budge. It does the job well and I actually like that you can choose the time by using the slide option on the front screen. The tones where super annoying but I ended up finding online how to turn it off as it wasnt in the manual. For anyone else wondering I am pretty sure it was holding the Clear and Keep Warm buttons at the same time for a few second until the screen said Off. HIGHLY recommend this microwave.

We bought this LG microwave 2 years ago based on looks and the myriad of functions and "smart cooking" promise and it certainly does deliver. Looks great on our kitchen and the programs do the job perfectly, whether it's reheating dinner plates and melting butter flawlessly. Our only gripe is the "finished" chime which sounds after the program finished, and then every 60 seconds to remind you it's finished and there is no way to switch it off. So unless you open the door it will ring again, and again, and again... !!! :)

Over all good product. Plays a little tune instead of a beeps when finished cooking. Seems to cook well and fairly even. Easy to use and clean. Only didnt give 5 star as you are only able to go up increments of 10seconds so for example if you just want 15 seconds not able to do. Has to be 10 or 20. Otherwise very happy with my purchase so far.
This microwave oven is perfect for our 2 person household use. We had to replace an older, similar model because, after 4 years of heavy use, the magnetron stopped working along with the led display. The new model is slightly different and we are willing to try it as the magnetron on this model has a 10 year warranty and it is recommended by Choice. An otherwise excellent machine.
I have owned microwaves since the early 1980.s. This is my 5th one. Always bought top of the range. Have found it a bit of a challenge in getting the temperatures right for what I want to do. Have found it to be a lot hotter in all the setting to what I've been used to. Found that the foods do need to be stirred when reheating to get the temperature evenly throughout. The timer plus and minud is very sensitive for arthritic fingers but enjoy the easy flow of setting the times. Don't mind the panels behind the door. In the beginning had to think about what I was doing. Am very impressed with the light. Even though the door is dark the microwave is well lite. Am also pleased that my large rectangular dishes can now also be used in the microwave.
Well I was pretty excited about replacing my broken Sharp microwave with this top Choice rated sensor 1200 W microwave. It’s not 1200 W it’s only 1000 W and no faster than my Sharp 1000 W. The saddest thing is that the Sharp was far more friendly in doing a reheat. This microwave has no SENSOR reheat of casserole dinner plate etc. You have to read off a little panel to select what you’re going to cook but if it’s a reheat you will have to put in weight or except inappropriate guesses. I wish I looked at the SHARP as for many years I have been able to reheat with sensor cooking on the shop and it worked every time. Now I have to use my experience to guess how long will it take to reheat. A very slick looking feature downgraded microwave this one is.
2nd LG Neochef. Smart Inverter Microwave we have bought. Large capacity. Used multiple times a day for years. Total reliability. Used all the different programs. Easy to operate. Heartily recommended
The product was reasonable in price and the white look was appealing, although when I placed it in my white kitchen, all you can see is the black front of the door.It heats food quickly (powerful 1.2 Kw) and the inverter defrost option works well but is not a feature that is a must have.I have a few LG items in my kitchen and laundry. They seem to like adding tunes to their appliances. This microwave comes with a rather annoying tune for a bell that continues to sing if the door has not been opened. Fortunately it can be muted, but then there is no audible indicator that the food is ready.In conclusion it is a pretty decent microwave, does the job, it's affordable and spacious. The bell is annoying but it can be muted. 4/5 stars
I bought this for a brand new house with a small kitchen so wanted something that wouldn't create clutter. It disappears into the cabinet and looks great. It's very easy to use with hidden buttons inside and touch buttons outside. Love the sounds it makes! And it does what a microwave should! Very happy.
