This is a ridiculous dishwasher. The fastest cycle is 2h40m. Its complicated to use. The timer and the buttons cannot be viewed when the dishwasher is closed. The baskets have drop down functions to create more space but cannot be adjusted in the basket below it so the feature is redundant. None of the baskets roll smoothly in or out which is frustrating. The basket for the cutlery is way to small for a family of four.. its quiet, Ill give it that. But thats all Ill give it. Its a $1200 price of junk but it washes the dishes. It takes more than 3 hours if you dont want them all soaking wet tho. That said, Good Guys were phenomenal about delivery and communication and on time performance. Id buy from them again but wouldnt recommend this product. Were gutted well be ... MoreThis is a ridiculous dishwasher. The fastest cycle is 2h40m. Its complicated to use. So far (2 months) so good. When well stacked it's rare to find anything that isn't spotlessly clean and dry with the standard auto wash. Have not tried a quick wash yet.The auto open, extra dry really works well. The controls are intuitive and the delay is easy to apply so that it washes using solar. I would prefer the timer to be shown on the outside of the unit rather than on the lip of the door but the models that have this do not auto open. The only way to know how long is remaining in a cycle is to consult the app.Installation was quite straightforward except that when attaching the rear insulation the sharp metal edge sliced my finger.

Dishwasher is fine and works great with no issues. The ONLY issue was with the installer - Derek Ashby. He was a grumpy, moody individual who didnt say hello when greeted at the front door. He banged boxes around, ripped holes in our front screen door by using our old dishwasher to push the door open instead of using his hands, attempted to use a knife to try and peel away stickers off the front of the dishwater (luckily he was stopped before he caused any damage) and was overall just an unfriendly person who didnt want to be there. Again, I recommend this dishwasher as its been great but just check who you get for the installation and if its Derek Ashby, ask to have someone else assigned instead. He was the epitome of someone hating their job. Id give zero stars if ... MoreDishwasher is fine and works great with no issues. The ONLY issue was with the installer - Derek Ashby. This dishwasher is whisper quiet when in use and there is a good amount of flexibility with basket adjustment and with standing up or lying down the prongs. I think the cutlery rack allows for more knives, forks and spoons than a separate basket does and will also hold spatulas etc. but not bulkier items like ladle's, masher's etc. I've been using this new dishwasher for about 5 or 6 weeks now and have had a perfect clean every time. It even dries plastics but you can still get some pooling within rims. There are some irritants for me though like, no matter how you adjust the top basket, you can't stand upright long stem wine glasses or tall glasses they need to be angled and by doing that they take up two spaces. Tea/side plates and bowls are too tall for the top ... MoreThis dishwasher is whisper quiet when in use and there is a good amount of flexibility with basket adjustment and with standing up or lying down the prongs. It even dries plastics but you can still get some pooling within rims. There are some irritants for me though like, no matter how you adjust the top basket, you can't stand upright long stem wine glasses or tall glasses they need to be angled and by doing that they take up two spaces. Tea/side plates and bowls are too tall for the top basket they tend to catch on the cutlery tray when you pull either one out. These go in the bottom basket now which takes up the space I've gained by not having a cutlery basket. There are two sets of long prongs on the bottom basket for dinner plates, they are on either side of the basket. But the dishwasher isn't big enough to accommodate two average sized dinner plates side by side so you have to put a plate in every other space on both sides so they're not leaning against each other. By having to do this you've lost your fifteen place setting. You also have to install sound insulation pieces yourself which is a bit fiddly. I may be being a bit harsh in my assessment of the baskets when perhaps all I really need to do is simply find a new, better way of loading this dishwasher from the way I've loaded my previous dishwashers for the last 20+ years. Overall though, a good clean, really quiet and little to no drying needed. I'm very pleased with those aspects of this dishwasher.
I love this dishwasher! It's simple and easy to use. I love how quiet it is, the only noise you hear, if you listen for it, is when it's pulling water. I like the cutlery shelf, because unlike the basket, leaves the entire bottom shelfor dishes and other bulky items. I also love the AI aspect so you can download other wash cycles and lets you know when the machine is finished. Very roomy, beautifully built, top quality, aesthetically pleasing, easy to connect & set up. Looking forward to many more years of usage.
I got this new LG Dishwasher on Black Friday. I really love the machine and and the loads of features it has. At the first look, it looks smart. The options on the panel are many many. Some of the features I loved is the delay function to sync with my solar for mid day wash even if am outdoor. The Wifi informs when the cycle is complete and so many options to choose. Very Very Silent. We have actually noticed how silent it is from the previous one that I wonder if is even working. I love the new lower 4 arms on the lower floor and the top arm is wider than normal size. Again the greatest feature I like is the collapsible racks which I think is a very smart innovation. Overall, I am very happy with the features and options this dishwasher has. It has mobile app support too. All in all this a fantastic feature filled machine from LG. How is the reliability in terms of time. I am hoping it will be good.
Despite the machine arriving DOA, and the 6 weeks it took for LG to repair, this unit has been quite good. I's quiet, cleans the dishes well, and has a couple of really good features like the auto-opening door and the 'extra dry' setting. It's let down by two main items though1. on turbo mode, the shortest runtime is still 100 minutes. Normal operation is more like 2 hours and 40 mintes. Thats fine overnight, to do the big one and wake up to a clean and dried dishwasher to put away, but if you have a big lunch party, be prepared to be hand washing the dinner dishes.2. The layout of the racks is a bit iffy - big cutlery doesnt have a good place, normal cutlery doesnt stay put, bowls stack up awkwarkly and occupy huge space in the bottom rack. Even the top rack for glasses and cups seems to be a bit janky. We're learning as we go, but it feels like a battle rather than being intuitive.I'd probably give it 3.5 if i could. 4 is generous, but 3 seems unfair.
Its okay but not worth the money. The cutlery draw seems to always be dirty. The bottom rack is a dumb design where if its not perfectly balanced with the weight on both sides it will fall off the tracks constantly which makes stacking it very annoying. We bought it specifically for the quad wash function thinking it would clean everything really well but it does a really poor job at properly cleaning anything really. You have to make sure everything is rinsed well before putting in the dishwasher. Would not recommend. Very expensive
Did a lot of searching through reviews and we settled on this LG dishwasher . Paid over $1000 with extended care warranty. It wouldnt clean dishes properly I tried every cycle and the only ones that work to some satisfaction was higher temps but this has now damaged a lot of my plastics. Wasted a lot of money on buying extra tablets because I have to rewash dishes and its on long cycles. I tried recommended dishwasher tablets and other brands. I had to replace my old Westinghouse as it stopped working and it cleaned everything very well. I rang good guys in May 22 just over 4 mo old and they said ring LG customer care who organised local service to come out Who advised LG that they couldnt find fault but they didnt stay the whole 2 hrs to wait for it to finish to ... MoreDid a lot of searching through reviews and we settled on this LG dishwasher . LG advised that there is no evidence of fault and they are not liable to provide me with a remedy. This is late August by now. So I took some of my dirty dishes into good guys and they said they would be in touch 3 working days. Early September sent a message from good guys to ask if matter had been resolved it is now 3 days later Do not buy this product
After researching many different brands and what we thought was value for money and features, I decided to bite the bullet and go for this LG Dishwasher. Several features that appealed to me what how quiet it was when operating. The ability to open once the cycle finishes was pretty important as it allowed the dishes to dry quicker, but also cleaner without marks on the glassware. I personally found older dishwashers to have a bucket for utensils, not this one. This has a dedicated draw which allows you to separate them for a perfect clean, but also easier when grabbing them as bunches then to have the old bucket and sort them out one by one. This draw also allows you to alter the depth which is handy. Our old dishwasher could not do this. This allowed us to maximize the space which made each more efficient than having to run it twice to cater all the dirty dishes. Overall, very impressed with it and wished I had replaced my dishwasher sooner!
