Developed with Roman "der8auer" Hartung, the Lian Li O11 Dynamic Mini is not only a smaller, but also extremely versatile variant of the popular O11 Dynamic. Thanks to the exchangeable back panel, the size of the mainboard tray, the number of expansion slots and the radiator options change. Power supply, drives and cables are stored in the second chamber. Silver thumbscrews and light grey rubberized cable guides round off the design.

The best thing Lian Li ever did was talk to Der Bauer and grace the world with the O11D line of chassis and the mini variant doesn't fail to please. Room for even the biggest boards, flexible layout for smaller boards, plenty of space for drives, fans and cooling solutions... and it's altogether not that much bigger than contemporary mATX cases. I picked this up for my partner who had run out of room in her In Win 301. It more than easily fitted all her existing hardware with room to spare and space for water cooling options in future. The only drawback to keep in mind is the power supply - to keep the width manageable it uses an SFX supply, luckily between Silverstone, Corsair and Lian Li themselves there are some good options around now in that field. This case really brings modular to the next level. It has so many panels that can be configured for different niece use cases that it really is a one case fits all solution. It also looks absolutely fantastic! My only real gripe is the need for the SFX power supply. This case is already very chunky, would it really have hurt to make it a fraction wider to accommodate a standard atx power supply? That small detail aside this is a great case to build in and it really does a great job of showing off your build

Extremely versatile and attractive case.

This case does it all, and does it well. ATX? No problem. ITX? Got that covered too. mATX? You got it! The case includes adapters and mounting options for pretty much any motherboard and cooling setup you want. That being said, if you decide to go with a full custom loop-you can install a 360mm radiator in the top of the case with an ATX motherboard, if you purchase or 3D Print an offset mounting adapter. You may be limited by things like the thickness of radiator used and the height of the ram you have, but it can be done. I'm running an ATX motherboard with two 360mm radiators and a 240mm distro in the vertical position. It works great! Zero complaints. The case looks awesome (especially with some RGB), cools well, and is well made. Very much worth the selling ... MoreThis case does it all, and does it well. ATX? No problem. ITX? Great case
26 December 2020

Ive been on the lookout for a good small atx case for quite some time, I really wanted something that was more of a micro atx size as I wouldn't mind going to a micro atx board down the road. This really fit what I wanted size wise and its modular so I can fit either board in the future when I upgrade. For now my build in this case is all my old core components, with new rgb fans and lighting, cpu cooler, and power supply. It worked great for installing a mixture of old and new. Things get a little tight on the back side with cable management with the extra rgb wiring to sort. With careful planning everything fit ok and is nicely hidden. A few things to note that might help people, I have a Corsair SF600 power supply, the stock cables that come with the power supply ... MoreIve been on the lookout for a good small atx case for quite some time, I really wanted something that was more of a micro atx size as I wouldn't mind going to a micro atx board down the road. A few things to note that might help people, I have a Corsair SF600 power supply, the stock cables that come with the power supply do work, I was worried about them being too short but they work just about right for my build. I have a Noctua NH-D15S for a CPU cooler, with the Cromax top plates, it fits really nice. One thing with it is if you plan on top mounted fans they will be really tight. I have Corsair ML120 fans on the bottom and sides and they wouldn't quite fit on top without rubbing the cooler. I didn't plan on running top fans anyway so this was fine for me but I wanted to note it. A plain fan without any rubber pads might fit ok, I didn't test that though. Overall Im really happy I waited for this case as I absolutely love it. It is a really nice piece worthy of being on display.

Great case for mATX builds
7 March 2023

The mini ( Dynamic and Air ) are better suited for mATX over ATX, because ATX will limit an AIO placement for both to the ventilated backside. Since the Dynamic is not really a good tower cooler case, the ATX limitations really hit hard. Thankfully the side vent supports a 280mm AIO, so if going ATX, that's going to be your best option unless a 360mm AIO is somehow made to fit on the ventilated floor. Bottom mounted radiators are a bad idea though, because you're asking for ait to get trapped in the pump block.

Great case! Careful planning is required.

The case looks great and it is very well built, with brushed aluminum top and side panels, and tempered glass for the front and other side. The only thing I don’t like about the appearance is the acrylic strip with the I/O, because that material tends to scratch easily. It’s a good size. What I would call a compact ATX. That being said I would recommend an mATX or miniITX motherboard, even though the case supports ATX. Mainly, this is because a radiator will not fit up top with an ATX motherboard installed. I bought this case hoping I would be able to use all of my parts from my previous build, and that included a 360 AIO, but unfortunately had a buy a 240 to fit on the side. Additionally, regarding compatibility, this case requires a SFX PSU. Looks Good, Easy Build, Just one nitpick...
5 February 2023

Nice looking case with a lot of space for managing cables which is great since the panoramic glass makes it really easy to see cable clutter. The panels on the back can be moved around for different sized motherboards which sounds and is great. However the material of those panels feel of lesser quality than the rest of the case; most holes did not have proper tolerance and there were a lot of small metal shavings I had to vacuum out before continuing the build. That aside, I'd still recommend this case for a build.

One of the best micro ATX case

I love everything about this case it's clean, functional, cable management is a breeze, and aesthetically it's pleasing, but there are a couple of things I didn't like about it and that's why I'm giving it for stars. I did not like how the area allotted for the power supply was not enough for the average power supply, you have to buy a specialty power supply for this unit. Two if you're going to set this unit on the floor or on a desk, you will see that it cuts off the top part of the case almost to the middle of where you cannot see anything but the lower fans, if you have a water cooler you may be able to see the pump and part of the ram cards. You must put it high up on the desk like on a shelf slightly higher than the desk itself in order for it to display ... MoreI love everything about this case it's clean, functional, cable management is a breeze, and aesthetically it's pleasing, but there are a couple of things I didn't like about it and that's why I'm giving it for stars. Isn't it? Aside from these issues, I see nothing else to complain about. I get a little air flow and my CPU, and RAM temps are low, never really getting above 37 degrees Celsius, and everyone that sees it is intrigued, and excited about it, so it's a great conversation piece, and and I catch her at that. I highly recommend this case for those who are able to accommodate it so that it will show properly. I'm very glad I purchased it oh, and it's been a great experience.

Only buy if you are doing a Matx or M-Itx build
12 August 2021

I absolutely love that they made a mini. Waited to upgrade my 4790k until this case came out. Beautiful show piece that doesn't sacrifice functionality. I'm in the small sub-sect of enthusiasts that do custom loops and this does have *good compatibility for loops. Do not even try to do a loop if you are going ATX*. Matx is already restrictive enough for the stealth build I'm working on. Two 360 Slim rads fit on the top and bottom. Slim fans required on the bottom but there's enough clearance for regular fans on top. Apart from enthusiasts like me, there's support for a vertical GPU which would look very nice with an AIO.

I bought this case to make a retro build with a very exotic motherboard purchased from a kickstarter in 2012. The case itself is hefty, appears by all purposes to be well made and has enormous potential. I did not have too much trouble adding/subtracting components to the case but was shocked after I got home and learned it needed an SFX or SFX-L PSU despite being listed as an ATX case. What really upset me about this purchase are the stand-offs do not line up properly whatsoever for my board. Another case I since acquired from a friend does however, so I know it's this case that is the problem. The metal, glass, screws, and accessory hardware are all well made despite the slightly skewed hole layout for the motherboard standoffs. Another case I since acquired from a friend does however, so I know it's this case that is the problem. The metal, glass, screws, and accessory hardware are all well made despite the slightly skewed hole layout for the motherboard standoffs. There are ample accessories provided with this case and the price is amazing for the build quality (my issues excluded) otherwise. The options to remove panels, properly cover them with the magnetic provided dust filters are a nice touch. You could do air cooled or water cooled with this case and the cable management is wonderfully thought out. One thing to consider when buying is the limitations of choice/selection where you require an SFX or SFX-L PSU and that you cannot add any traditional drives to this case easily - (optical drives etc). Furthermore a (2) drive maximum without your own engineering could limit you - so choose wisely. If there weren't so many things to pack back up I would have returned this case begrudgingly. My loss though because I really wanted to love this case as my first foray into Lian Li. Maybe you will fair better in the future.
