I have 2 of these units, one set at 17 degrees C for reds and the other set at 7 deg C bottom zone and 10 Cdegrees top zone for whites. Every time weather conditions are humid the unit makes a noise like an old tractor running. Eventually it shuts itself off. I reported it to Liebherr and their response was that I shouldn’t set it so cold (it’s advertised to be able to operate down to 5 degrees Celsius) and that the noise is caused by ice buildup on the fan. Now even when set at 9 degrees it still makes that terrible sound if conditions are humid. Not impressed with this unit which does not operate as advertised.
