In the presence of selenium (and with sufficient levels of ferritin and iron in the blood), our body combines iodine and tyrosine to produce thyroid hormones. Iodine and tyrosine are two critical components for the production of thyroid hormones, its health and proper functioning. A great product.

I decide to try this product due to the numerous positive reviews. In addition, I need as much help as I can get because I am hypothyroid & my healthcare providers decided to take me off my medications for years now despite me having even more symptoms than before. I extremely happy that it has NO taste! It's easy to take, just 3 drops in a glass of water & I am done for the day. Based on what I've learned over the years about hypothyroidism, patients are usually low in iodine. I've tried other liquid iodine supplements, but cannot stand the taste, so I'm pleased to be able to get this product in this tasteless format.

My thyroid panel comes back normal but since my multivitamin doesn't have iodine, and I'm currently trying to conceive and iodine is really important (I also don't feel like taking expensive prenatals until I'm actually pregnant). I used to take this years ago and really liked it as it's a good value. I actually came on the site to restock and see that it's out of stock. No wonder because compared to other liquid iodine, it is FAAAAR cheaper. I think the ingredients list looks good and simple. Recommend if you're in need of basic daily iodine.
