Color is just flawless. It is definitely a worsted 4 it’s not thin four like the ombre. I took a picture because there isn’t any out there. I was looking while waiting on my order. I am impressed with the gradient.

From some of my first crochet projects I started working with Lion Brand Yarn and fell absolutely in love with th brand. They are light weigh, easy to work with and have beautiful color options. This new pattern of colors is awesome for creating blankets with a theme based on mixing color.

Saw this yarn and liked the gradient effect. Bought 2 cakes and wanted to make a scarf. I started with the darker end working to the light. Then, I joined the 2nd cake, pulling from the light center to work back out to the dark. 2 cakes make a nice 72-inch scarf. I am happy with the purchase and created a nice gift for my friend who LOVES yellow.

I worked up a lap blanket with the purple and the color blends are so pretty. I am a beginner crocheter and I felt it was easy to crochet.
I purchase this yarn to make a c2c and it’s coming out very nice. Color changes are smooth and so far it’s been lovely. Only complaint I have is that it’s listed as a 4 weight. If it is a 4 then it’s on the thicker side which I was slightly annoyed by. It’s closer to a 5 than a 4. And it’s not as smooth as you would think. It’s slightly scratchy.
So, it was a first for me to get Lion Brand yarn that feels a bit rough depending on the color and I buy and work with yarn daily. I am in the middle of making a blanket and got 2 off each color. The colors are true to their photo. So beautiful 😍. The size is a true 4 weight. Not like other LB yarn where it says it's a 4 and it's closer to a 3 weight. The blanket I'm making will be so gorgeous with these gradient skeins. I'm using 2 of each and working both on the opposite to create some fun in this crazy heat. I usually don't do blankets this time if year lol. But couldn't help myself with these new fun colors!Okay now the downside: It splits a little bit of you're not paying attention. I'm using a straight metal 7 mm hook to give it the most drape, but keeping ... Some are very soft but still kind of feel a bit cheap because of the scratchiness.Make sure you pick a stitch to get the most fun out of this cake! Enjoy, have fun and buy them on sale! The size is not bad for the price, but you'll need at least 10 of them to make a decent throw.
I have been looking for a gradient yarn to use in an afghan for my cousin. This Mandala Gradient is everything I was looking for. Perfect blanket weight (5.29 oz) which means for me that it's not too heavy nor too light. Also, the color is what my Cousin wants...light to medium green or turquoise. This is definitely a green, but the colors flirt with turquoise. I now have to buy all the colors. LOL
