Liqui Moly Tappet Stop Noise 300ml (2783)

Definite improvement! I used one bottle, and it helped. A week later I used a second bottle and the annoying ticking has all but gone away. Considering a permanent fix would cost around $2000, I'm more than happy.

Excellent noise reduction lubricant

Excellent product works well, definitely reduces engine noise. Have been using this for nearly 8 years in all my cars after each service. Highly recommended you hear the difference.

Fantastic Additivw

Have been using this additive for 08 Hilux for years now. The Toyota Diesel engines are known to be noisey but will this stuff it keeps them working quiet and working perfectly. Engine gas done 210000km now and doesn’t blow smoke and runs smoothly. And my Ute and used daily and tows heavy load constantly. High recommend this stuff.

Fantastic Product

I have had a ticking noise become gradually louder over the past 6 months in my VY commodore. Normally it would stop after warming up however recently its become so loud it continues ticking whilst driving. After putting in the Tappet stop noise the issue was fixed after 5 mins of running the engine! perfect problem solved!

Good enough

Bought in on christmas sale, used it immediately after i cam put of store.after 500km good enough. Travel 150 km - 300 km daily.Will see how it work out till my next oil change. Gulf Western 5-40 Full Sync oil used.Car is 2007 Honda Jazz Idsi.The previous owner has not done servicing for 2 years.

Great product

I bought it for my Hyandai Elantra 2013 which had tappet and ticking noise especially in morning. After 100km, the problem is almost totally solved. I recommend this product.

Hope In A Can

My daughters 96 Mazda recently developed a tapping in the head at the front of the motor. Despite doing an engine flush with new synthetic oil and filter, I then added the Liquid Moly Tappet Stop Noise, but it didn’t fix the problem. I now have 12 new hydraulic lifters to install, but for $18 I suppose it was worth the gamble.

Might work for some people but hasn’t made any difference to my yd25 diesel. Worse case scenario is it will help clean all the galleries on the next oil change. Having said that, my motor has a different setup to most. It may help a motor with hydraulic lifters.

Loud lifter noise gone!

Partners Kia Rio had a very loud lifter tap, I thought it would definitely be a lifter replacement. Added a bottle of this and ran for 15 mins and the noise has completely gone! May just be band-aiding a more serious issue but this is an older car and I'm not willing to pull apart the engine. Great product!

So far, so good.

I put this in after an oil change on my vz 6.0ltr as the tappets were getting noisy, first week only drove it around locally and the tappets were still making noise, went for a 100km round trip and it seems to have made a difference, it does still tap on start up but quickly disappears, overall i am happy with this product, i know the tappets will have to be done sooner or later, I'll see what happens next oil change.Hopefully won't have to buy another bottle.
