Listerine Total Care Mouthwash Clean Mint 250ml

I tend to fall into the gingivitis trap when pregnant, as so many of us do. Previously in my life I tried actually brushing the spot harder and unfortunately gave myself some receding gums as a result. So now I know to leave the spot alone and do a really good rinsing with lysterine instead. Now each time I’ve had gingivitis in pregnancy I’ve been able to avoid any gum recession. I strongly suggest if you’re prone to gingivitis for one reason or another, buy an electric toothbrush to help you stop pressing so hard, and do a really good rinse with Lysterine to avoid any permanent damage. I wish I knew prior to causing permanent damage. Do NOT brush the spot harder assuming something is stuck under the gum line!

I bought the Glamorous White, mint flavor, which says it removes up to 90% of surface stains in 5 days. There are other Crest whitening toothpastes out there, including one that says it removes up to 80% and is called Vibrant Mint I believe. I've used whitening products from Crest before, but not their toothpaste. Amazon no longer sold the whitestrips I usually get, so I thought I'd use this for maintenance. I've used this daily for exactly three weeks, and I'm very satisfied. I don't want super white teeth, but I don't want stained, yellow teeth either. This keeps my teeth fairly clean-looking. They're "white" enough for my taste, and I haven't experienced any sensitivity while using this. Packs a punch, too much for my liking!

I'm usually quite a fan of the Listerine "pow" that comes from their products. It's that ultra fresh, tingly feel that kick starts the day so I was certain this would be no different.I started using it straight away, morning and night, after brushing my teeth. The pow caught me out the first night, I thought maybe I had just not used Listerine for a while and had forgotten how strong it was. However, after a couple of days, I had to change my night routine as it was just too strong and refreshing for right before bed. Sorry Listerine, but this gets a thumbs down

I've tried Listerine before and I was optimistic that I would not be disappointed with the product. But sadly I was. The flavour was not very strong, which is actually a very good thing however after gargling and swishing it in my mouth my tongue began to burn after about 10 seconds. I felt like I just drank some hot chocolate and burnt my tongue. Because of that, I would not recommend this to people. I understand it has to do its job but at the end of the day who wants a tongue that burns? Total Care Stain Remover

I’m really disappointed the Total Care Stain Remover mouthwash has been discontinued. I used it for years. Not only was that wash discontinued but all Listerine whitening rinses/washes have been discontinued. Regular mouthwash, regardless of claims, do not whiten teeth. I started with the original Listerine whitening rinse. Which was great, but I still had to use a regular mouthwash in addition to it. Then when the Total Care Stain Remover came out I switched because it literally covered everything I wanted. The Total Care Stain Remover was unique because it was a mouthwash, and whitening rinse in one. It truly was the most perfect mouthwash ever created. Very Hot Mouthwash

I bought LISTERINE® TOTAL CARE ZERO FRESH MINT Anticavity Mouthwash hoping it would live up to the "less intense taste" touted on the bottle. For me, who is sensitive to hot products, the intensity ranked right up there with the original Listerine products. The intensity was downright painful. I do not recommend it for people with sensitivity to spicy hot foods and products.While I did not experience the sloughing reported by some people, my lips became parched to the point of looking ashy white and cracking.Also, I find the "6-in-1 benefits" on the label insultingly redundant: 1) "Helps prevent cavities, restores enamel, and strengthens teeth" are almost synonymous.
