I am a sucker for pet simulator games, and a lover of Shiba Inus. I grew up playing the original Nintendogs for the DS.I have only had the Shibas in the games, and not played with any of the other pets that the game offers.That being said, the graphics are cute. The gameplay is not very realistic. This is definitely no Nintendogs level game, but it is a cute way to waste some time. I bought the game while it was on sale, in my opinion it is not worthy of its $50 asking price.

Bought as a add on gift for my daughters birthday. She’s 5 and overall seems to enjoy it. Fairly easy and requires little help. Just needed help levelling up. Good cheap game for a younger persons

Bought this for my kids and they haven’t been able to stop playing. If you’re child can read, I’d say as young as four can play. Since they bought it I notice they’ve been wanting to engage with our pets at home more as well.

Super basic, fun game for kids. Like that it doesn’t have much additional features outside of them playing with animals.
Fun game for kids. Need basic reading skills to play. So far, limited interaction with a puppy. Should be able to unlock more toys and walking areas as they level up.
Brilliant game and excellent graphics. Wide variety of dogs and cats to choose from and you can walk, feed water and pet the animals.
Lovely game for my Son. He is mad about dogs and cats so it is ideal for him. He loves looking after his pets and taking them for walks and feeding them.
My friend loves this game, it really fulfills a sense of nostalgia and fills a void within their soul that needs to be filled with cute stuff.Strangely the bath feature is seemingly gone and a couple of other small details aren't there either, nothing that takes away from the fun of the game or hinders your ability to do things or have a good time.All in all, cute game, good functionality, very well converted to the switch, beautiful work. 9/10
I thought Little Friends would be similar to Nintendogs, but it definitely is not. You take care of your dog and cat, play with them, can take your dog for a walk, and can go shopping. However, after 2 hours I got really bored of the game, as there is not really an incentive to play other than taking care of your pets. It’s definitely not as fun as Nintendogs, since there is no disc completion & obstacle training. I wish the game would’ve given players a feeling of wanting to come back to play the game everyday. Instead, you do the same thing repetitively.
It is a pretty good pet simulator in the spirit of Nintendogs on DS. It is fun for kids, and the pets (dogs & cats) are very adorable. I wish there were a Pro Controller option, though, since my family plays on TV when it comes to playing Switch games. I recommend this game!
