400% scarier than the first. It's like they took everything unsettling about the first game and ramped up everything: the animations, the music, the ATMOSPHERE.The pacing is phenomenal, giving you some room to breathe after shitting yourself, then dunks you right back into the action. The combat sections are a little fiddly at times, especially if you have a hard time with the depth perception, though. Still, 10/10 great game.

Was glad to find Little Nightmares 2 in physical copy for my Nintendo switch. Love playing my switch in handheld mode and this game is a great game to play in handheld mode. Now waiting for Little Nightmares 3 to come out soon!
I don't play scary games often but decided to give this and Little Nightmares I a try. Both are fun little games. Think I prefer the general areas/atmosphere of II more than I along with the puzzles. Also, as far as the Switch versions go, the load times in II are much better over I. Only takes a few seconds at most to load back into the game after dying versus I which could take 30 seconds.
The gripping sequel to one of the most uniquely horrifying indie horror games there is. Make your way safely through the twisted reality surrounding you. Absolutely brilliant all the way through, with twists and turns round every gruesome corner.
A gift for my teen daughter. She is enjoying her game. She has the first Little Nightmares and played it forever. She could not wait till this game was out. She has had outstanding school grades so I thought I would get this for her. She states that this game is a little more intense and scary but she loves it. She says "it is an awesome game". I would definitely encourage parents to check it out if they are interested. It is T for Teen rating of course.
We ended up returning the disc because we downloaded it instead. The graphics were great as per the first game. However, I beat it in a day. I feel the puzzles to progress were far easier than the first game. Was a bummer. $35 for one day of entertainment. I have other games that I’ve been playing for several weeks to even a year (BOTW) that I paid $50 or so for. I hope the next game they have is longer and more challenging.

In Little Nightmares II, players will control Mono, with Six – the protagonist from the first game – acting as their computer-controlled companion. The relationship between the two children will play a huge role within the game’s story and unveil new gameplay mechanics as the children must work together to traverse through the world. At certain points in the game, Mono will also be able to wield a range of items picked up in the environment – a new mechanic added to Little Nightmares II that brings an extra layer of complexity to the game’s puzzles and encounters with enemies. There will be times when stealth remains the best option, sneaking past towering enemies, and times when players must think quickly to save themselves, as well as their companion Six. In addition to new gameplay mechanics, players will also venture outside of The Maw (the setting of the first Little Nightmares game), exploring new environments including a dark wilderness and facing new enemies, such as the sadistic Teacher.
