I don't wash my hair everyday. I actually just wash it once a week, which I know sounds crazy, but slowly my hair is getting used to it. That being said I definitely rely a lot on dry shampoo. I was so excited when Living Proof gifted me this dry shampoo to try. I didn't have high hopes because it's really hard for me to find a good dry shampoo that actually absorbs all the oils on my hair and makes it look fresh without leaving a super white cast. I am indifferent of the scent on this. It's not like I love it but I also don't hate it. It's a normal scent. My daughter and I use this one and we both really like it because it does absorb all the oils and in order for it not to leave a white cast I have to spray it from far away. Otherwise, if I accidentally spray too close to my scalp it leaves a white cast that is hard for me to blend out and disappear. So far I like it, it's saved me from looking like a mess and it has done its job! Just be careful with spraying too close.

By far the best dry shampoo that I have ever tried. I've heard really good things about this product so I was extremely excited to use it and it definitely lived up to the hype. I usually apply my dry shampoo before my hair gets greasy but to really put this one to the test I applied it after my hair was already looking oily. This product is magical! This is the only dry shampoo I've ever been able to use once my hair is already oily that completely eliminated all of the oil. I applied before going to sleep and when I woke up in the morning I had fresh hair that lasted for an additional three days. Breaking records with this product. I can go the longest between washes with the dry shampoo compared to others. It has a timed release of fragrance which is also really ... MoreBy far the best dry shampoo that I have ever tried. Also the way that the aerosol works is extremely powerful. I was surprised at how much power this aerosol spray bottle had! Overall I would definitely recommend this product, the only thing is that the bottle is quite small, however a little goes a long way and this product definitely does what it says it will! It's a must try!

I decided to try this dry shampoo when my normal go to was out of stock. I had high hopes as I have heard so many good things abouy this line. Here is the deal... not every product is going to work the same for every person. This just did not happen to work for me...at all. I have lots of fine yet coarse and wavy long hair. I wash my hair about once a week because hair washing days for me take a lot of effort with drying and styling. The first thing I noticed was the smell. Now, some may like or be okay with a very strong floral smell but I cannot and that alone would have been a deal breaker. It does not necessarily smell bad but everyone is going to notice it. The next thing is that it does leave quite a bit of white residue. A lot of dry shampoos do I feel but if ... MoreI decided to try this dry shampoo when my normal go to was out of stock. The next thing is that it does leave quite a bit of white residue. A lot of dry shampoos do I feel but if you massage it in enough, the residue will dissapear. The other thing is that for me personally, it did not absorb enough oil. My hair felt really dirty and weighed down after using it. Maybe I did not use enough since I could not handle the smell or maybe it is because I wash my hair so infrequently. Not really sure what the issue was but the product was not for me.
I received this complimentary from Living Proof. I'm a fan of a few Living Proof products but I've never tried this dry shampoo so I was super-excited and it didn't let me down.First, the can is a little more compact than I'm used to, which I like. I'm an avid user of dry shampoos and the smaller cans are easier to manage. It has the signature Living Proof citrus scent, which I also love. When spraying it on my roots it felt cold and refreshing, almost like it was wetting and cleaning my roots. Usually, dry shampoo spray feels a little cold so I expected the feeling to vanish fairly quickly but it didn't. I don't know what kind of magic they put in this can but it really felt like it cleansed my roots.I did get a very faint white cast (I have black hair) but I ... I don't like to leave negative reviews, but I don't see many reviews mentioning this. I have dark brown, very healthy hair that tends to feel a lil greasy after 2/3 days. The first time I used this dry shampoo, I read the instructions- sprayed and left it for 30 seconds, I then tried to 'massage' and shake out the white residue and it essentially just turned into loads of dandruff-looking flakes. I'm talking a huge amount, it looked like I had some scalp condition. I massaged and shook my hair for probably 10 minutes and there were still lots of flakes. I have never had a dandruff issue, so I knew it was the dry shampoo. I just thought maybe I used the product too liberally and I only needed to spray a tiny amount. I have never had a dandruff issue, so I knew it was the dry shampoo. I just thought maybe I used the product too liberally and I only needed to spray a tiny amount. After about 15 minutes of aggressively shaking my hair, I got most of the flakes out, but I was still walking around with some small flakes left in my hair. However, I will say my hair did not look greasy anymore, and didn't have a matte look some dry shampoos give you. It just looked like clean hair with some minor dandruff. The next time I used it, I decided to double check the instructions, followed them and used the smallest amount possible, and it just happened again. Today, I spent 15 minutes attempting to rub these flakes out of my hair. It was very annoying. I will continue to use this product as I have already paid for the jumbo size, but I won't be repurchasing. If you buy it, all I can say is don't use it when you are in a rush, as you'll need to spend time really shaking the product out of your hair. Next time I use it, I'm going try a hair dryer to blow the product out too. But I will say it does work as a dry shampoo, hence the 2 stars. But, I'd much rather spend the same amount on another dry shampoo that won't leave me raking my hands through my hair for 15 minutes minimum.

I have very fine hair that has been damaged by 20 years of chemotherapy for advanced Lupus. Some of the medication treatments cause significant hair loss. I started to use Alterna's repair shampoo and conditioner and minimized handling and brushing of my hair by using twist pins and gentle ties to put my hair up. The Advanced Clean Dry Shampoo by Living Proof was so much better than anything else I tried. Instead of dying out my hair, it was soft and tangle-free. Even with daily use, there was minimal build-up s my hair was never weighed down by LP's Advanced Clean Dry Shampoo. I went seven days without washing my hair and it looked great and I could heat style it with no issues. Thank you Living Proof for a great product!
