The Advanced Clean Dry Shampoo by Living Proof is a good dry shampoo that helps extend between washes. This was complimentary from livingproof and I was excited to try it since I liked the original formula but not the scent. I like that this dry shampoo is very lightly scented and doesn't linger like the other original version. The spray is a fine mist and easily spreads throughout the hair. There is initially a white cast but once you let it sit for 30 seconds and work your hands through the hair, it disappears. It doesn't feel at all chalky or greasy. You do have to spray a bit more though if you have extra oily hair. Overall, it does what I want in a dry shampoo, which is make my hair look better between washes and not annoy my nose or feel terrible to the touch.

When I first applied it, following the directions exactly, it did leave a startling white cast, but I waited for it to set and was able to blend it in by rubbing and brushing. Once I was able to do that, I must admit that my hair felt freshly washed and very clean. There's no heavy feeling on my scalp or hidden layer of product, it just felt clean. I'm a big believer in not over-cleansing my hair so I rely on dry shampoo to keep my scalp from being oily. This product definitely works, but it took some manipulation to get the whiteness to fade.
