Very happy with the Lock & Lock 1.8L (HPL813) rectangular containers. Strong hard-wearing plastic and airtight with the rubber sealing rings in the lids and the four securing clips. Handy size for the kitchen cupboards and shelves. I like to keep my flours in their packaging and was looking for airtight storage containers that will hold each 1.5kg flour bag still in its packaging. These 1.8L HPL813 containers did just that with a tight fit. One of my unopened 1.5kg flour bag was a couple of cms too tall for the container, but I was able to squeeze the other two unopened 1.5kg flour bags (Sainsburys plain flour, and Carrs w/meal flour) into two of the four containers that I'd purchased. My plate fits perfectly within. The plate sits on the lid with my home made cake. Then fit the bottom on top. Upside down box it is. Well made and keeps my cakes fresh. Thankyou.

This 1.8L canister is perfect in size and shape for airtight storage in our caravan. We travel for long periods of time in all types of weather and need to make sure food is protected. The sealing of these canisters are perfect
This container is a useful size for storing dry foodstuffs in the kitchen cupboard. I have put a 1kg bag of flour in mine and it fits perfectly. (If you want to store a 1.5kg bag flour, buy the 2.6L container).
I purchased six of these rectangular containers. I store pasta and rice in them. The stickers came off quite easily. The seal at the top works well and is easy to do. They look fantastic in my pantry and I would definitely buy more.
Having a massive lock-down pantry tidy up and clean out so ordered a total of 10 of these in various sizes.I could have bought cheaper but wanted a quality product and Harts were offering them at a very good price.The containers are sturdy, dishwasher proof etc.Brilliant service from Harts and love the eco friendly packaging.5 * all round.
Bought these Lock & Lock storage containers to go in my newly refurbished kitchen. They are so useful. Various shapes and sizes available. I could easily get a 1 kg bag of flour in them. Delivery and customer services from Harts of Stur is excellent.
Would be perfect if it was even just 3mm taller. As it is I can fit a full 1.5kg bag of flour into 1.8L container, but it does take a bit of persuasion i.e. pressing and patting down the top of the bag and then pushing down on the lid. This size does take a 500g bag of fusilli pasta which doesn't quite fit into the 1.3L version.
This is exactly what I hoped it would be. It fits an unopened 1.5kg bag of marriages bread flour. It's tight but didn't take any force other than gravity to get it in and did not compromise the integrity of the bag in the process. Have ordered another one.
