Surface of this skillet was badly convex and made for terrible heat distribution and a generally poor cooking experience right from the first usage. I've got a Lodge wok and it is fantastic, but I'm not sure about this thinner Blacklock range at all. Returned for a refund.Response from customer service was unsatisfactory, didn't address the problem that I raised via the reseller at all.

A lighter weight Lodge option purchased for short hikes. It’ll be useful at home as well. Well seasoned. I am very pleased with this produce. Supplier delivered the item promptly, well packaged.

This Blacklock Lodge is amazing. A bit on the higher price end but happy that I chose it since this is my first venture into cast iron cooking and it's been a breeze. I've been cooking all sorts of meals in this and for the non-stick purpose, works like a charm. I'm seeing myself using this for many years to come, and not having to add non-stick pans onto landfill. Happy customer. Will buy other sizes.

The cast iron pan is far too heavy for me to use. I am going to give it away to a family member who is much younger. They will love it. I should have bought a smaller one for me.
I purchased this a few weeks ago and have used it several times already. I am so happy with it because it is already seasoned and the size is perfect. Large enough for 5 or 6 chicken thighs and plenty of room for a one pan dinner. I would buy it as a gift because I know it would constantly be used and appreciated.
Loving this his cast iron pan. Much lighter than the standard ones. Very good size for meals for 3-4ppl. Easy to clean and maintain.
Love this pan, not too heavy, easy to clean. I rinse as soon as I finish cooking, with a drop of liquid soap, dry, then I return it to the warm element to dry and wipe with a little coconut oil before putting it away. Food cooks well, I only have electric stove top, I found heating the pan at 3/4 of the dial, then turn down to 1/2 the heat, nothing sticks, eggs are a little tricky, need less heat.
Bought this to replace the half dozen “non stick” pots that stick after 6 months. This one is holding up although it needs caring after each use. Season as they say. But at least it’ll last.
Great pan. Very large so will only suit a large cooktop with large burner, but exactly what we were looking for. Comes seasoned well but gets better with time.Great thermal mass for even and consistent cooking.Needs 2 hands to be lifted and moved.
I’ve been wanting to invest in a cast iron skillet for some time now, and when I came across this brand, I figured it was too good to be true! I love this skillet and use it almost everyday now. Very easy to clean and take care of and doesn’t leave any smell or residue on my food like teflon pans do. 10/10!
