This is the clasic 10.5 inch Lodge Iron Skillet. For a low price you get an American made product that will last for more than your lifetime. The skilet comes pre seasoned so you can start cooking right away. My only complaint is that the cooking surface is not smooth. it is rough. Hopfully this will smooth out as I continue cooking.

Years ago I did most of my frying in a pan like this. Then I was lured away by the lighter weight pans with nonstick coating. Nonstick coating scratches and wears out but properly seasoned cast iron pans only get better. I'm pretty sure that this one will outlast me.

Great pan. Cooks a terrific rib eye. No need to barbecue. This is better. There are many articles on line for seasoning the pan and cooking tips. Don't worry about not ever washing it in soap Scour in hot water and dry. Re-season, if necessary with a little vegetable or olive oil and you are all set. Get the same size pan as your ovens biggest burner. My ovens biggest burner is 10 inches so that's what I got. Forge seems to be a good brand.

I LOVE this pan!!!!!! My favorite of all the Lodge that I have!!!!! And the grips are genius!! I use it all the time!! I like that it has the two small handles instead of one long handle like the skillets.
I use this cast iron in our outdoor barbecue kamado grill. I make great veggies in it. It is a perfect size for my small grill. We may buy another. There are no cons for this skillet.
This is the fourth skillet I've purchased to try to replace an old favorite no brand skillet I had for years. It broke when it fell on the floor. The other three were too big and too heavy. This Lodge is the right size. I'd heard Lodge is lighter than other brands. but it is not as light as my old one. But it's good. I think I'll keep it.
I love Lodge cast iron cook ware - it definitely becomes handed down; I have my grandparent's various iron ware. When I saw this one I knew it would be perfect for cornbread and lots of other oven recipes.
I've used this skillet for baking bread and meat so far. I do use pan liners just to keep the pan surface nice. I like the way it cooks foods evenly and does not take very long. I would have liked solid pan handles rather than the cut-out type. Other than that, very nice skillet.
I'm a cast iron snob and believed nothing was better than my old seasoned pans. But I got this skillet and found I was so wrong. This skillet has a rough seasoning coating and you might think this will hinder the pan and make food stick but no, it works a good as my pans that took a lot of time to season. So Lodge did all the work of seasoning these pan at a great price.
The best cast iron. Perfect for any meal, any side, main, or desert. Love love love
