Logitech BRIO 4K UHD USB-C Webcam With RightLight 3 With HDR (Windows Hello), 960-001105 Web / Internet Cameras

The camera itself is great, and I appreciate that you can swap USB-C cables if needed. However, to get 4k streaming, you will NEED the original cable or a similarly high quality cable capable of high data transmission rates (10gps). Your standard USB-C cables. (like for phones) will not give 4k. The camera has no way of telling you the cable is the issue so here's your warning!

Disappointment-not worth the investment if you have an imac

I was really disappointed with this purchase. The HD is not very good at all and I have a new imac, so I thought between the two, the HD camera was really going to be an improvement to my video picture quality- but it wasn't. Additionally, you have to go searching for an app that allows you to alter the camera settings-it doesn't automatically load and the settings a really minimal. The camera on my mac is almost as good with respect to the picture quality. So if you are on a shoestring budget this camera is not worth the investment given how minimal the boost in the quality of the picture/image turns out to be. It is also a bit glitchy when using with Zoom, just takes awhile for Zoom to recognize the camera. The only real advantage is that the built in imac camera has no settings, so you can adjust frame or view of this camera from wide angle view to normal view - there are three settings. But you can also do this manually just by moving your computer or existing closer and further away.

Excellent camera for YouTube

I bought this to improve the quality of my YouTube videos. Previously I'd just been using my phone camera, which was 4K but had poor sound as the microphone was far away. I had purchased a USB microphone but needed to replace the phone camera with something that could also connect to OBS. I initially tried a cheaper 4K webcam but it lacked autofocus and the picture quality was terrible, so I returned it and purchased this one.I use Linux exclusively on my main PC, so I needed something that would work well in Linux. The TV is a Samsung QLED, and no matter what I set the flicker reduction filter to, it still had a noticeable flicker on the camera. Fortunately it wasn't too distracting.The camera uses USB type C and actually takes advantage of USB 3.x bandwidth. If you only use a 2.0 cable it is limited to 1080p. I've used 6 foot USB C extensions along with the included type A to type C cable to move the camera away from my desk while recording and it has worked perfectly. The built in microphone works well enough for video calls as well. The tripod mount works, but getting the included mount off is a bit tricky as you have to pull it straight out rather than unscrew it.

Excellent value for the money

Excellent value for the money - This camera came in perfect condition, even though it was used/open box. But I could not be happier with the quality. This made an excellent Christmas present this year, and I would recommend it to anyone needing to upgrade their webcam to something HD. The image is very crisp, and with some adjustments to the color/light balancing, you get an incredibly great image.

Great camera overall

Much clearer than my prior webcam. I use it with a key light and it is crisp and captures. When I have the key light off it is still crisp.Two negatives I have seen so far is that it can lose focus if I lean back from my work desk or if I lean forward to write something. I have to put my hand in front of the camera to get it to refocus. Secondly, my work laptop is a little underpowered, so I sometimes need to shut off my camera while sharing my screen to keep my computer from lagging on keystrokes. Maybe IT will let me get a new laptop now?? :)

If you already have a Logitech C920, you're good...

Outstanding camera

I have used Logitech for what seems like forever, and they have always delivered.This 4K Brio is one of the best cameras I have reviewed and purchased for my clients.It delivers superior quality and ease of use. It provides very crisp images and high-quality sound.You can use this on a laptop or a desktop setup, it is quite versatile.Although a subject light is always helpful, it isn't necessarily a requirement since the camera has exposure control, but it will always depend on your scenario.You will not be disappointed with this camera, it's not cheap, but well worth the cost.

Overpriced, but works with Windows Hello

This camera is decent and fills the main need I wanted to fulfill. Since it has IR integrated, it is able to work with Microsoft Hello. This allows the user to log in just using their face.The video quality is not quite what I was expecting for an alleged 4k camera.The audio (mic) quality is decent with the integrated noise cancelling catching most audio without passing it through.

Windows Hello but overpriced

Took of one star just because this thing is incredibly overpriced.However...The video quality it has is extremely good. The microphone is meh. It doesn't have very good noise cancellation and doesn't seep to be a proper array type of mic.The best part (and primary reason I wanted to get it over a different camera) is that it works with Windows Hello.

Works well but no instructions & a bit overpriced

Works well, but instructions are absent. It's pretty much plug and play electrically, but it comes with a separate black part and doesn't tell you what to do with that. Turns out it's a privacy flap that you can attach to the top of the camera to cover the camera when not in use. I nearly threw it out before I figured that out. To control the camera you need to download the LogiTune software from Logitech, which was also absent from any instructions in my box. Anyway that software allowed me to update the firmware and adjust the camera settings nicely once installed (I have Windows 11 Pro). It's nice that I can adjust the viewing angle as well. The image quality is clear and responsive. Happy enough with it on my 32" 4K desktop monitor. I do think it's over-priced ... MoreWorks well, but instructions are absent.
