Whilst this system is specifically designed for use with the Xbox family of consoles, I had struggles getting both the console and some games to recognise it. Unboxing and setup of the controller was relatively easy though the arrangement to clamp the wheel to a table/desk was very awkward in my particular environment and the furniture I have. The USB cable for the controller was a bit too short for easy use with the console and TV (I wish I was wireless and simply required the power cable) so I needed an extension cable which on reflection may have contributed to the problem. On the Xbox One I have; the controller wasn't showing in the accessories list until I disconnected and reconnected one of my standard wireless controllers (don't ask me why that should influence it) and magically it appeared and became available.Once I finally got it working, the controller is great. The brake pedal seems to require a very high pressure to get to the 100% mark (when doing the calibration), and this might cause slippage on a non-carpeted floor, but the built-in pedal unit grips work great with carpet to stop that (in contrast, the pedal unit is now installed in the frame/bracket - which doesn't have adequate grips - and now both the pedal unit and steering wheel retreat from the driver when attempting to apply brakes (the frame/bracket doesn't have the attached seat).

One of these issues, is the steering wheel sometimes losing alignment, when making a quick movement through the wheel. For example in Forza Motorsport 7, there are times where a car will step out and you are required to catch the slide to save yourself from crashing. Whilst making the movement, sometimes if moving the wheel to quikly, the wheel will "forget" where 0 degrees of steering input is, and it becomes where 45 degrees of steering input should be or somewhere around that mark. I have found this happen on pretty mutch all game titles i have played with the wheel. Although, do not worry too mutch about this, as it can easily be fixed by unplugging the wheel at the usb cord, and letting it re calibrate. This issue doesnt cause any problems for the wheel as far as i have seen, but it is just one of those small annoying inconveniences. Another thing i have found annoying with the Logitech G920, is how the brake pedal is designed. Don't get me wrong, the pedals work great and i don't have any issues with their performance. It's just that in the brake pedal, a small piece of rubber is used, to try and simulate the feeling of a brake pedal starting off as light, and as pressure is applied, getting heavier. This is a cool concept and is actually a good idea. But the way it has been executed isn't right. The rubber doesn't give you this feeling at all, more a feeling of pushing the pedal and then it suddenly feeling like your pushing against a brick wall. This makes it super annoying when playing the game because it will feel like youve pushed the pedal as far as it can go, but it still needs more pressure to get to %100 brake application. Although, once again this is generally an easy fix. In most games you are able to calibrate the pedals, and change where you want %100 brake application to be. For example in Forza titles, you can go into settings and make %50 brake application, the point where the brake reaches %100 application. I have seen people removing this piece of rubber by dismantling there pedal set, but that is something that i think i am a bit scared to do. Although it is there as an option if you get really annoyed by it. Overall i love this wheel. Even though it sounds like i might hate it, i actually love it. I love that it has lasted me this long with no complete failure, and that it still continues to keep on working whenever i want it to. Its 4 out of 5 stars for me only because of those issues i spoke about otherwise i love it. There is obviously the newer model out the G923, but if you want to save a bit of money i think that the older model is just as good.
