Logitech G923 PC Steering Wheel and Pedals Black

Overall fantastic but the brake pedal is incredibly firm vs any previous Logitech pedals and not possible to adjust or not without disassembly and installing aftermarket kits (search G923 firm brake pedal) - this is decent if you have a sim-racing rig with a pedal and wheel stand and want to drive in shoes but not if you want to play at a desk using an office chair in socks. I have a pedal stand and supports to stop my chair sliding back but it still starts to tip over backwards well before I hit full travel on the brake, and even if that didn't happen I would have to start driving in shoes. The brake pedal really needs some kind of cam adjustment to change the strength of the spring force - this would be good for cars that have ABS or weak brakes too.Previous wheels I owned had a built-in sequential shifter as well as the paddles and this is definitely something I miss more than I expected - the paddles work great for circuit racing but not for drifting or rallying or offroading where the wheel might be spinning around, sure there is a H-shifter you can buy but it would have been nice to have some kind of sequential as well built-in.If you have owned older Logitech wheels be warned that the desk clamp is different with only two clamps instead of three and it might not work on some desks that older wheels did. This does make it much quicker to take on and off the desk though which has made quite a difference to how likely I am to get the wheel out for a quick session

Big upgrade from the G29

I won this wheel and pedals at a Logitech competition. I previously owned a G29 wheel and instantly noticed the differences. The brake pedal was a huge difference. Being the somewhat competitive driver that I am, I need everything to be almost perfect. The price you pay for the quality you get it very good. The force feedback on the wheel is also a big difference from the G29, it feels more smooth and better to drive. The extra buttons and dials you get on the wheel is also a great addition. Changing brake bias is a breeze with the dial. There is only one flaw with the wheel and that is to do with gran turismo 7. The wheel likes to uncalibrate (if that’s a word) itself when have a massive flick of oversteer. I had been bought this sim wheel for Christmas last year and to say that I love it would be a massive understatement. This setup has made my dreams come true as the places Ive lived in my past few years as being 16 is really not so prominent when it comes to being a racing driver. The system really does make an impact as yes I have been a passenger in many race cars and ofcoarse the G-Forces and all that wont come from this wheel. It does very much well replicated the rumbling and unsteady surface of the track. The shifter has a professional feel to the shifts as its nothing like a Corolla where its sticky and hard to control but instead smooth and mechanical w really does make me feel like a pro driver. Ive tried My best to have a clean setup even to as far as building a wooden rig for my pedals and wheel + shifter combo. Logitech… I truly am grateful for the product you and the team have developed, me and I bet a lot of other people in the world are glad to have something like this in their rooms as a reminder of the person we could once be.

Great wheel but LOUD!

I’ve had this wheel for about a week and I have loved it so far, seeing as it is my first sim wheel. I am a bit disappointed that not as many games support Trueforce seeing as it is an amazing feature of the wheel, because I hope to see more game support in the future. In terms of feedback for the physical wheel itself, I have noticed it is quite noisy. Playing on default force feedback settings is fun, and super immersive, but the wheel rattles and rumbles a lot. Turning up the force feedback to maximum settings makes my whole desk shake, and is definitely too loud if you have neighbours in a room next door. Having no force feedback is mostly nice and quiet, but it’s just not as nice playing without it. Great rotation, the pedals feel good (the brake pedal is a bit stiff but you can always make it lighter if you follow some DIY mod videos). Trueforce feels amazing when playing a game that supports it, and is a noticeable improvement from the normal force feedback. I have the Logitech shifter as well and that is pretty good, I am mis-shifting a lot but I think that’s cause I still need to practice a bit more, as I said, I’ve only had the wheel about a week. Overall it’s a solid product and worth considering if you want to get into sim racing. If you live directly next to your neighbours I wouldn’t recommend the wheel as it can get very loud and clunky, but if you don’t mid the noise and your housemates can tolerate it, 100% go for it.

Having both the G933 with a simple stand and picnic chair, and a top of the line racing simulator worth over 10 grand, I can confirm that I find myself putting far more hours into my inexpensive Logitech setup.The simplicity that comes with a G923 is magical, there is minimal software, minimal tweaking and tuning, minimal cables, and maximum fun. Massive Improvement from the G920

I bought this item nearly 2 years ago now and still performs like it is brand new. I originally bought this item to play forza horizon games but ended up using it for f1 games. This wheel is able to allow me to compete with the best in the world which are using much more expensive systems than this budget steering wheel. Regarding the title of this review my father has now gotten himself a wheel which is the g920 which was made a few years before the model I have. Using his a few times you can really see how much of a difference there is especially in the brake pedal. The G920 brake pedal is very light and hard to apply the right amount of pressure but this is drastically improved in the G923 as I am able to feel the right pressure every time. I definitely want to upgrade to the new Pro Wheel soon and see what the Direct Drive scene is about.

I have had this product for around a year now and I couldn’t of asked for anything better for the price. I originally got it to play “Forza Horizon 5”. This product has extremely good compatibility will both the XBOX SS and my Windows PC. The moment I was plugged in I was immediately met with great force-feedback, a quality responsiveness and very smooth turning, especially for a gear based motor. The build of the wheel is spectacular for a budget wheel, the circumference of the wheel is made out of a grippy leather and a large portion of the wheel also consists of a sturdy metal. The force feedback is pretty good in my opinion but I wouldn’t know to much as it is my first racing wheel I ever got. I play forza and grid with it and needs a few adjustments to make the wheel feel a bit more fluid. The break is really stiff than I expected and I’d need to have it clamped down to really use the breaks because it requires a lot of pressure to use all 100% of the Break but it does help with not locking up the wheels while racing. The shifters are pretty solid too with a nice click and love the leather around the wheel. I don’t know what the plus and minus button does and the small scroll wheel with the arrow. I purchased a ps5 a few months ago just so I could buy a racing wheel of some kind. I've looked up plenty of reviews and found this to be the most favored. The review I saw said the set up process was tedious and the wheel must be calibrated every time its used. These were the only drawbacks listed in the cons, although I've found that the calibration is just the wheel turning itself left and right when it is powered up which takes like 2 seconds and is actually kinda cool. I can't see how the setup would be much better than it is given that its just plugging in the pedals, into the ps5, into the power point and a shifter if you have one (i do and its sick). I will eventually get a stand of some sort for it though. The finishing is tidy and feels pretty good quality. I'm not sure what the difference between this and a direct drive wheel is but for the price, this is absolutely enough to get you hooked on sim racing and would be my overall recommendation for a sim racing. Looks good, feels good and drives well. Great value for money.
