The lights work, but I don't care too much about that. They're comfortable (the removable earpads are a nice touch, I might try to clean them soon) and the sound quality is decent. I've yet to have any problems that make me regret the purchase, but I also feel like there are better options by now for $80? All in all it's been a pretty positive experience.

The Logitech G933 headset is a great choice for gamers and audiophiles alike. It boasts excellent sound quality, providing a rich and immersive audio experience. The wireless connectivity is also a plus, with a long battery life that allows for extended use. However, there is one major downside to this headset: the USB port is quite fragile and prone to damage. This means that it may not hold up well over time, and may need to be replaced if the port becomes damaged.

Amazing headset with so many features. You have the option of whether you want to use it wirelessly or wired . i I also like the fact that if it dies you can just plug it into your controller and it’ll run up the controller batteries. you can hook it up to your computer and add different sound profiles and change all the settings through the app. it has two different types of microphones one that’s attached to the actual headset and the other on the wire that you connected to the controller if you’re using it wired. it lights up a bunch of different colors and you have the option to change the color on the headset. I could go on and on those are just a few. I’ve had mine for about five years and it’s still working just as good as new. it was well worth the money.

Amazing hardware, terrible software that cuts out regularly
22 March 2020

Logitech was my go-to brand for such a long time: great sound, low price. How could hardware this good be so cheap-!-But after owning my G930 headphones for years they started cutting out. I bought a G933 for home and shifted my faulty G930 to work - different OS, software, everything. Then I realised both headphones had the same issue with the sound constantly dropping. The headphones would cut out, reboot and 10s later I would have audio back. The hardware is amazing and the sound quality of these things is unbelievable for the price. The software hamstrings this, with it being unable to hold a minute at it's worst without a 10s reboot of the headphones.I wish they would roll back whatever the hell they updated, because none of the headphones on Win7/Win10 ... MoreLogitech was my go-to brand for such a long time: great sound, low price. What a shot in the arse...

Faulty Hardware, Excellent Features

As much as I love this headset I would not recommend it.Pros: Sound Quality is excellent, Mic Quality is below average but still pretty okay by my standards, the Wireless feature is amazing. Lighting is a neat gimmick although I never purposely had it on as it drained the battery faster. Custom Equalizer was cool, gave my music a lovely bass. Surround sound was great although I never used it much.Con: However, the hardware itself is easy to fault. I purchased my headset in November 2017 and I've had to get it replaced twice due to it becoming faulty (Please note, I use it for long hours each day, however, I don't get rough with it as I don't game). The first fault was a charging issue, where it became impossible to charge. The time I had to get it replaced was when it sometimes disconnected from my PC and I had to restart for it to be picked up again, as well as this, it also didn't respond to the Logitech Software (Yes, it was up to date), which meant that it's lights were constantly on draining my battery. After trying hardware resets and other "solutions", Logitech Support deemed it faulty. I've since then decided to try my luck on a different headset.Due to my experience with this headset, I would not recommend it, however, if you want to risk it then go for it. The warranty does last for 2 years so if it becomes faulty you are able to get a replacement as I have. You won't be disappointed (until it becomes faulty).I would just like to note that the Logitech Support Team is very helpful and understanding when you go to them for help, and that the MightyApe Support Team is also very helpful and quick to replace faulty products.

Great Audio, Fair Build Quality
4 December 2018

I "upgraded" from the Logitech G430 to the Logitech G933 and the audio improvement is definately noticeable. These headphones have much deeper bass and all-around, a better soundstage. I also love how they're wireless and how the battery can be accessed easily. They also give you the option to use a 3.5mm TRS cable which you can plug from the headphones into the wireless adapter if you run out of battery. However, the puck stops there for the pros. On the downside, the build quality is fair at best. The 'stages' of sizing keep changing. This should be stonger so when I pick up the headphones, or take them off, or even move them, they don't change in size (i.e., get smaller). The padded head piece at the top also comes off easily. I have a larger head and when you stretch the headphones, the paddings stays the same shape while the pastlic top moves, thus the padding comes off on one side for me. The microphone (according to my Discord friends) sounds the same as the G430 but isn't as close to your mouth. What I liked about the G430 was that the microphone was basically right infront of your mouth and when you talked into it you could just barely hear yourself coming through the headphones. Ever talk with headphones on? Doesn't it sound muffled and weird? G430's gave a "monitor" like sound where it sounded like you didn't even have them on, whereas the G933 microphone is away from your mouth and I feel like it should be closer.

Great headphones at a great value!

I wanted to try the 933 Artemis headphones for a long time, but I couldn’t justify the price then. So, my thoughts are based on the “brown box” brand new item which are priced at less than half the original price.Out of the box, the 933’s look very stylish and futuristic. Although I usually go for dark colors, I opted for the white/black option and couldn’t be happier. The black accents are well placed and are aesthetically pleasing. The RGB is very bright and stands out nicely. It comes with a wireless dongle, USB cable, a 3.5mm analog cable and a RCA cable adapter, which should take care of any connectivity setting. The dongle and battery can be put away in a compartment on both cups, which close securely with a magnetic panel. This headset is mostly made of plastic with some metal inside the headband. While the plastic seems sturdy, I am a bit worried about the build quality as these seem rather flimsy when handling -especially at the swivels. They are noticeably creaky. However, that is not an issue when wearing them. Hope they last! The headphones are not heavy and fit well. My ears fit inside the cups and the fabric lays comfortable agains the side of my head with minimal clamping. Still, as with most headphones in my experience, I did experience a slight fatigue after wearing them for a couple of hours -mostly on the crown of the head. The 933 Artemis feature several physical controls, including a volume rocker, a mic/mute button, RGB controls, surround sound, and a power button. The mic pulls out from the left cup and can be extended to a comfortable position.I tried these with my PC setup, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, and tablets. Wether using the wireless dongle or the 3.5mm cable, it works well with all of them. Since this is designed more specifically for the PC, the rest of my opinions will be based on that. The RGB lighting, surround sound signature and features can be adjusted with the Logitech Software.I was very pleased with the sound straight out of the box. The highs can get a bit acute, but were never piercing. The mids were well represented and made conversations and nuanced sounds stand out well. Now, the bass is not super deep, and that may turn away bass-heads. However, it is punchy enough to feel it and will not overshadow all the other frequencies. In one word, I would describe them as “exciting”. The surround sound is what makes the real difference by activating it through the Logitech software. Either 7.1 Dolby or DTS options work great.I never lost wireless connection -even when getting something from the fridge. Conversations through the mic were clear and never had a complaint.Overall, I think the Logitech Artemis 933 is a great headset. Although it is unclear if they will withstand my rough handling, the features, options, and sound quality is certainly worth the “brownbox” price. I would recommend them without hesitation!

Limited focus, yet best in class for it's price range and category.

=Sound Quality= The two I can compare to are the Razer Krakens, Astro A50s, and the Audio Technica ATH M50xs (which I use primarily). Bear in mind that the G933s headphones are built for surround sound gaming. This means punchy bass and surround sound, not total accuracy for audiophiles. For the price, and considering the wireless connection, they sound great. It does take plenty of tweaking, as out of the box presets are garbage for balance (most of them sounded flat, or overly bass boosted). To compensate where these headphones falter, I took the lower frequencies and turned them up close to max, with small variations. Mids should be slightly lower than the middle line, as well as treble. To compensate where these headphones falter, I took the lower frequencies and turned them up close to max, with small variations. Mids should be slightly lower than the middle line, as well as treble. After testing with a wide range of music, this mode produced the most accuracy, with audio quality on par with the A50s. At default presets, they sound tinny and hollow. Don't buy this headset just to listen to music and watch netflix. Gaming, everything sounds immersive. The airspace in the headphones really gives it that roomy feel. Bass is deep and punchy. I played Titanfall 2 with these for a while, so ill use it as an example. BT's voice was deep and gravelly, and it really sounded like he was speaking to you through actual comms. The environment felt real due to the 7.1 surround sound. Audio location became an actual factor for locating enemies, although it wasn't as specific as I had hoped. Cinematic games are where these headphones work best (games such as Battlefield, Titanfall, CoD, Skyrim, etc). So out of the box, these headphones don't sound stellar, but with the right tweaking they definitely sound great. The surround sound is accurate for gaming, considering its simulated 7.1. =Build Quality= These headphones are NOT for small heads. They would be a nuisance, constantly sliding around and possibly falling. Build quality is sturdy, solid, and heavy, but I'm not confident they would survive a drop that high. Padding is comfortable, so long sessions shouldn't be an issue (even considering the 7 hour battery life) Who is this headphone for, and are there alternatives? I bought these headphones for a cleaner looking setup, wire-free, and accessorized. If you're coming from cheap headphones and have a 200$ budget, these produce great sound, and I can't think of a better wireless alternative in this price range. I switched from ATH-M50xs. They have monitor sound quality, and are VERY VERY highly accurate (honestly my favorite pair of headphones, gaming or general listening), so if you want a clearer headset and don't care about punchy action or wires, those are the OBVIOUS alternative, as their sound quality is better and surround sound/soundstage is great. The Razer Krakens are more budget, and don't sound very good, so I would not recommend. If you can hold off and save another 100$, I would recommend the Audio Techinca ATH-ADG1X (wired) more, since they have clarity and gaming focus. TL;DR: Best wireless gaming sound for the price (aesthetically and quality-wise), definitely recommended for anyone looking for a wireless headphone specifically, as there are always better wired alternatives for the price range. And I thank them for their fine manner in dealing with me on that issue.Anyway, today, Monday 13 November, 2017, my replacement G933 is no longer in existance. It worked fine when I received it way back then, but on the odd occassion it would sometimes cut out with the same issues as my first G933. But it was a rare occurrance. But now, for the past several weeks the problem has been getting worse.Until today when I had enough. I was fuming as I simply could not play and chat at the same time as the headset kept cutting out with the same problems as my first G933.I typed a message to the person I was playing with asking him to hold on. I took the headset outside, and with all my might smashed it on the concrete I was that mad and frustrated with this piece of Logitech trash! I must admit I derived much satisfaction with that action. Now, at the end of this day I am well and truly over it. I will never, ever, buy another Logitech Headset again. When it worked it was great. But the problems of it being unusable greatly overides any positives I had with it.And the only reason why I am not giving this a 1 star rating (wish I could give less) is because of the fantastic service I got from Mighty Ape, the benefit of such spilling over into my rating of the G933 headset.I had no intention of contacting Mighty Ape for another refund or replacement - I simply wanted to rid myself of this bane to my gaming existance asap - will simply write off that cost to life experience.A few hours after this woeful event I purchased a Sennhesier headset (https://www.mightyape.co.nz/product/sennheiser-g4me-one-gaming-headset-black/23016142) and hopefully that will prove to be a much better experience!

This order, even though the item was not functional, could have gone much more smoothly with the seller “Electronics Plus”. I received the item and was super happy because I had been wanting a headset that was wireless of the quality this one should have been as a professional E-sports Overwatch player for Hammer Down E-sports and owner of that E-sports ORG. for so long I craved good wireless sound! I plugged in the dongle, set up the Logitech software and was blown away at how great the wireless sound was, at least for a few days until the left ear started having intermittent sound loss.I contacted the seller and explained what happened and they informed me of a hardware reset switch that I could press for two seconds inside the left ear panel, which I did and I ... MoreThis order, even though the item was not functional, could have gone much more smoothly with the seller “Electronics Plus”. I contacted them and told them the problem persisted and received this response.“Hi,I am sorry about that. mm..I am really not sure what is wrong with it. I have sold so many of these without a problem. Anyways if it is not functioning correctly then sure, Here is what I could offer you.1) You may return the unit back, and once we receive it I will issue a full refund of the amount paid.Or,2) Offer you a 20% partial refund to make up for the mishap and you can keep the unit received. You can try it out for a few days before you decide.Let me know what you would like to do.Again I do apologize for all this”.1) Why do I want a refund on a malfunctioning item?2) Did you just imply I was a liar?I believe they did imply I was lying and that is no way to treat a customer. I even gave them the opportunity via email to take back that statement and got full radio silence. I hope you try to resell that headset and get the same reaction from someone else. I would have happily taken a replacement, but that was not offered. However, after calling your customer a liar I don’t know who would want to do business with you anyway. You may have a good experience with this seller but I did not for this reason. It also makes me think that dealing with them could get hairy so I don’t recommend them. Also, on the return it was marked "customer changed mind". No, I did not, you were simply rude.
