First: THE RECEIVER IS IN ONE OF THE SIDE FLAPS OF THE BOX, not in the mouse. I realize this thing is small and Logitech was concerned about its getting lost but the mouse is a great place to put it. I wonder how many of these have been returned because people couldn't find the receiver... Now, about my return: The keyboard showed no sign of life when I tried to turn it on to pair it, and the Logitech software couldn't find it. It came with batteries so I tried changing them; that didn't help. I ended up trying four sets of batteries, including the ones it came with; no indication that the keyboard was on and the software couldn't find it. I had the same problem with the mouse. Same number of battery trials, and no response. No lights, no recognition by the ... MoreFirst: THE RECEIVER IS IN ONE OF THE SIDE FLAPS OF THE BOX, not in the mouse. I think with this one I just got a dud. It will be going back on the my next trip.

Works great! Someone commented the usb part is missing…I almost thought the same thing, but it’s in there. It’s not inside the mouse to begin with. Easy to miss, but it’s in the box inserted in the side flap next to the instructions. See photo. Maybe not the best way to package it, but it’s a good product. Good keyboard %26 mouse at a good price. Saves a usb port by connecting both in one. I’m happy with my purchase.

I have purchased three of these keyboard and mouse combinations, and am typing this review on the keyboard now! The wireless connection is excellent, and I haven't experienced significant loss of signal or lag within 8ft of my computer or laptop. I prefer the separate keyboard and mouse to the keyboard and pad on my laptop when at home or at my desk at work. I have used two mice on two separate computers, side-by-side, without any signal interference. I like the positive feel and full size of the keyboard. The price is fantastic for fully functional keyboard and mouse. The only complaint I have is that the batteries need to be changed every month or so. Also, an indicator light for number and caps lock would be nice, but that would probably raise the cost. The keyboard continued to work for about a week before losing to many keys to be effective, and I had to get a replacement. But, I haven't had one "wear out" because of use, yet.

My previous Logitech combo had a K270 keyboard and M185 mouse using a USB RF receiver. It was working fine until a fall busted that RF receiver. So, I ordered this combo from Walmart as a replacement. Although I just requested standard delivery, the next day it was delivered to my home from a local store. It's working great on my Windows laptop, and is equivalent to my previous setup, except for having fresher batteries.FWIW, the old keyboard and mouse didn't work with the new receiver. I suppose each one is factory paired with the combo it's sold with, so customers could use multiple combos in the same room. I haven't tried that, but it would explain why the keyboards and mice have unique serial-number labels.Another thing I tried was using this combo on Linux. ... MoreMy previous Logitech combo had a K270 keyboard and M185 mouse using a USB RF receiver. That doesn't appear to be officially-supported, so YMMV, but it worked OK for me on a desktop running Linux Ubuntu 20.04.2 LTS.
Ok, I'm old enough that I learned how to type on a BEAST of a typewriter with a book! LOL; that being said; I have a surface pro 7 that I've had for a year and a half.... ANY mouse that I've ever paired with this thing... just doesn't work sometimes; this logitech mouse is the third... same thing. BUT... I just took the FLAT keyboard off my surface pro and this thing paired immediately and it has.... FRIGGIN' KEYS! As in; now I can TYPE! I simply cannot type with any speed on those flat keys... that came with the surface pro! Yuck! I'm very pleased with this item; the keyboard works flawlessly! I do wish I could figure out why the dratted MICE... no matter what brand; mess up with this surface pro! It's very annoying!
LQQK AT THE BOX FLAPS! The cool tiny USB transmitter is in one of the side flaps of one box end, and nothing will work without it. The mouse has a nice storage slot for it you can use later, which is excellent because it's so small it would be easy to lose.Amazing deal at Walmart. Good feel on both keyboard and mouse, worked perfectly with no setup at all on both a Mac and an Ubuntu Linux PC. BUT... just before the warranty return period expired, the keyboard started being intermittent. A few days ago it would randomly skip a character occasionally, then it would pause for several seconds and suddenly the typing would show up on screen. Today it became unusable so I'm getting a convenient free Walmart replacement that arrives in two days. Since the mouse was still ... MoreLQQK AT THE BOX FLAPS! Since the mouse was still working perfectly and both are 3' from the PC in the same room, I suspect the keyboard WiFi connection. Nothing in the house is on the same WiFi frequency as the mouse/keyboard combo, and new batteries made no difference. I like the combo so much, it's easy to chalk it up to bad luck on a great deal for a great product. If the new one works I'll be completely happy with this product. If not, I'll be back with an updated review.
I wanted this keyboard so I could do my work in a relaxing position. I already own an Adesso T50 wireless trackball, so I sat the mouse aside and use this keyboard with my trackball. I use FreeCAD 0.20 to do mechanical designs, and KiCad 6 to do printed circuit board designs. That setup is really awesome when I cast my laptop's video to my 56" tv.Logitech has always made great keyboards, so it was easy to choose this model for my setup. The keyboard has a good feel and is really light. I have to use both 2.4 GHz receivers (the Logitech one and the Adesso one together) but I expected that anyway, and they both work just fine together.I would recommend this keyboard to anyone wanting a wireless keyboard for their computer. The USB receiver is NOT working with Dell laptop with Windows 10 pro edition. There is NO proper windows system DRIVER files for this product. So, the OS is not recognizing this product. I did contact the Logitech support team. They DIDN'T help me to resolve the issue. The tool which they gave me is to pair the USB receiver and the keyboard and mouse. But my problem is USB itself NOT recognized because of the DRIVER files issue. All together, its waste of money and time.
I have a more expensive Logitech wireless keyboard and mouse at work that I love. So when I needed one at home I saw this one and thought why not? Well, it is not like my other one. This one lags really badly and sometimes doesn't even work. The switch on the keyboard sometimes cuts off. Not happy with this purchase and I really like Logitech products but this one is crap! Not sure if it is because it is cheaper model, but really disappointed in this one. 😞
Don't waste your time or money. Yes. This is a cheap and compact keyboard. But it's not worth even the low price. It has a tendency to overheat, and when that happens, the keyboard keeps throwing errors with the keys (keys not working, or pressing a key and getting a different result). The battery cover falls off very easily. The only plus is that, like all Logitech keyboards, it has a lovely touch to type on.
