compact, high-quality material, has great weight, and has great typing experience. I am going to be super honest. The most annoying thing about this keyboard is the terrible Logi Option+ app on Windows & and MacOS. It doesn't give manual the user controls over the backlight timeout or keeping backlight on while plugged in. Inconsistent backlight auto on/off regardless of the surrounding light condition & proximity sensor trigger. This has made it very distracting while I am doing research work. This is an expensive product that has a terrible backlight sensor. The Logitech Support (official website) does not care about what I have to say. I do not recommend buying this just because of the flawed backlight of this keyboard at this price. After 3 years of using the MX Master 3 mouse, I'd been yearning for the keyboard companion to go with it. I had my eyes set on the MX Keys keyboard but for one reason or the other, usually price, I held off, till eventually Logitech launch the MX Keys Mini. As luck would have it, it finally came in stock and I pulled the trigger. The compact keyboard for me is much better suited to my desk layout, I don't really find myself missing the numpad (in fact I find myself struggling a bit with my full sized work keyboard now). The keyboard itself is compact but has this dense solidity too it. It's not light but any measure. The keys themselves are fairly quiet (I'm not one for the clacking of a mechanical set up). They have the spring and travel of your typical non-Apple laptop keyboard (this is an imprecise science but I'd say a bit like a Thinkpad keyboard). In the few months I've had it, I tend to need to recharge every 1-1.5 months. This is admittedly because I have the backlighting turned off usually (the proximity sensor on this is very good at lighting up the keyboard when you hover close to it). It's ambient light detection isn't quite as fast but if in a fairly well lit environment I've found that within 10-15 minutes it'll automatically turn off the backlighting. It took the briefest moments to get used to the dual Mac+Windows markings on function keys for eg. The hotkeys at the top are the default instead of traditional function keys. I've not quite worked out how to use the switching between devices buttons to the top left, and it took me a while to realise that there's built in buttons for say emojis, screen capture, and muting in meetings. The latter is now quite handy. Of course ultimately the Logi+ software allows you to configure some of the buttons yourself though I've not yet had need for it.Overall, really pleased with this product! Can recommend (Logitech's products are on the pricier side but for me I appreciate the quality to the MX range and am fully converted to it).

Had it for about a month so far. Great keyboard! Never had any trouble with it. Initial connection was super easy and always connects automatically after that. Has yet to drop a connection. I do plug it in/charge it up at the end of the day, so not sure how long the battery will last, but that’s of little concern to me at this point. It’s quick and responsive. I use it for writing code and it’s perfect. Needed the FN key so that it was similar to my laptop layout. Key spacing and arrangement/layout is very similar to a laptop. It doesn’t have the number pad, but I never use that, so I liked the slim and compact style of this one.Backlights are nice and very helpful when the room is dark. They are plenty bright enough to illuminate the characters on the keys. It’s ... MoreHad it for about a month so far. Great keyboard! Never had any trouble with it. Cool feature.Very solidly built and has a nice weight to it. No cheap plastic like other keyboards. I’m not sure, but the main plate may be made of metal. It’s solid and slick and seems very durable.Keys feel great when pressed. Fairly quiet, but they do make a little noise, very similar to that of a laptop keyboard. Not complaining about that at all, I like that little bit of noise. All in all it’s a great device. Keeps me nice and flexible in my workspace. Would certainly recommend if you are looking for a keyboard similar to that of a pc laptop with a FN key layout.

It was either this or the Mac magic keyboard (around the same price) and I decided to go Logitech. The main reason (initially) was I didn't like the white keys of the Mac keyboard because they show dirt so quickly. I'm using this with a laptop that is extended on a stand so it needed to be compact enough to travel.PROs• Super easy to set up, no drivers, no downloads needed.• Love the light-up feature, extremely helpful in low light• Sturdy, great feel, I think it's better than Mac keyboards.• Still shorter throw keys but they feel more sturdy, better action.• So far impressive battery life. 3 days in I haven't even needed to charge it yet. Still running off the original factory charge.CONs• It is definitely a bit more bulky and heavier than the Mac ... MoreIt was either this or the Mac magic keyboard (around the same price) and I decided to go Logitech. I'm sure you can adjust that but I haven't dove in yet.The pros definitely outweigh the cons and since Mac doesn't make a compact version of their keyboard, they lost out. The thing I most appreciate is the light up feature and the quality is there. Logitech wins again!
Love this keyboard! It’s designed to work perfectly with Apple products but it works nearly flawlessly with Android products as well. Pairing is easy with no drama. It has buttons to pair up to three different devices. I use them to pair my iPad, Samsung tablet and Samsung phone. Have another device, no problem. Just hold down any of the three buttons to pair that one up too, then re-pair your original device back again when you need too. I use buttons one and two to pair my most frequently used devices. Button three I use for any other device I want to pair up later. The back lit keyboard is great and is a necessity IMO. Battery life is long and I rarely have to recharge this keyboard more than once a month. The black keyboard is much easier to see without glare ... MoreLove this keyboard! The product itself is great. Probably the most comfortable keyboard I have used up to this day and i wish i could give it a 5 star review. The downside of this that makes me rate it low is the constant disconnection while using it. At first i didn't really notice this because i was not using they computer for extended periods of time. Few weeks later after i can no longer return i started working on evaluation stuff for work and used my computer for longer periods of time and noticed this issue. I looked up online solutions, updated the keyboard, turn it off & turned it back on and nothing. Keyboard was on, but not connected to the computer. Eventually it reccoments, but it's very frustrating. Sucks, but maybe I should've stuck to wired keyboards. Personally I would ... MoreThe product itself is great. As a Sr. Technical Writer, having the perfect keyboard for my home office is a must. The MX Keys has served as an exceptional instrument for the task-burdened typist. The key press threshold is effortless, while still delivering a satisfying response. The scissor mechanism is smooth, the key height is superb for gliding fingers across the board, the backlight is fantastic and can detect hand engagement really well. The unit itself is very solid and well constructed. This is my 4th MX Keys unit, the other three are full size. The first has gone to my son, the second to my wife, the third at my physical desk, and now the Mini for my virtual office setup (the full size is too large for a lap desk). Anytime I meet someone who works in tech or remote, I always recommend ... MoreAs a Sr. Technical Writer, having the perfect keyboard for my home office is a must. This is hands down the BEST wireless keyboard sold for ANY user (except for PS5 users). This keyboard made me hate my wireless mechanical gaming keyboards, and has become my daily driver since the day I hooked it up. This product makes me question the validity of gaming keyboard claims with their low latency and superior "performance" because once I paired this keyboard using the (sold separately) USB dongle, I notice ZERO latency while gaming. What I do notice is that my friends and family no longer have to deal with the annoying keyboard clicks anymore, and my typing accuracy has improved. The battery life is insane, I charge it maybe once a month, twice if I'm using it heavily. I am able to switch easily between my laptop and my smartphone with this wireless keyboard. It connects without difficulty using Bluetooth, and readily swaps depending on which keyboard I'm using. No more typing with my thumbs, or having to reach across my books to the keys on my laptop. The keyboard is smaller than full-sized, but it still works easily for me, an experienced qwerty typist. That said, other users may need different features -- and perhaps the full-sized keyboard will work better. Wanting a spare keyboard to use for media controls and my XP-Pen display for digital illustration, I really like the smaller profile of this model. It's just as comfortable and quiet as the MX Master Keys S but great to carry around and use for other compatible devices around the house. The special keys added like dictations, screencaps, and even emojis are really useful. I often like to use them with my iPad.One thing I would like to see included in the package would be the Logitech Bolt adaptor so it could be used for devices that don't have Bluetooth built-in.
