Lowa Z-8S GORE-TEX C Boots Dark Brown - 44

Still the best boots out there. Slightly heavier than the Zephyr but just as comfortable and possibly even sturdier. This is my fourth pair of Lowa and frankly, there is no other shoe or boot I'd rather wear. I use them for pretty much anything from walking around town to technical trails in the mountains and in all seasons; even in the harsh Canadian winters, they keep me comfortable in temperatures as low as -20.

Great product. Boots ar light, but durable. I have used them in wet snow conditions and they are keeping moisture out very well. Maybe lacing system could be better with hooks in upper part in situations when speed of putting your shoes on is essential. Other than that I can not imagine any downside.Shipping to LV was fast.Overall - I am very satisfied with product and service.

Excellent boot with great support, well constructed and comfortable. true to size. If these last as long as the previous pair they represent great value for money. Amazing boots from Lowa

Previously I've worn the Combat GTX which are amazing boots. I've always found Lowa to be brilliant value for money, especially considering I got 6 years out of my last pair of them. I decided I needed something a little lighter for the summer and ordered these. Definitely impressed by them. Whilst they aren't as high in the leg as the Combat GTX, the support is definitely there and the way the sole cradles your foot is amazing. I've always replaced my insoles with ones from Superfeet but I don't feel the need to with these boots. Given they're on my feet for at least 12 hours a day, they are just as comfortable at 2000hrs as they were at 0730 in the locker room. Lowa boots are definitely a case of you get what you pay for. Colleagues at work sometimes struggle to get a year of a pair of Magnums. Like I said previously, I get at least 4 years out of a pair of Lowas. When you consider our boot allowance is £98 per annum, I'm in profit and have a far better boot. Also, I'm diabetic and I find I have no foot issues with using these boots. All in all, I would recommend these to anyone needing a good sturdy boot.

Brilliant

These boots live up to the 5 star reviews. I owned the Lowa Combat GTX preciously, and these are great boots however they are heavy and bulky. I bought these for a more lightweight comfortable boot, better suited for running and mobility. These definitely do that, they aren't far from wearing a pair of trainers. Very comfortable and look the part too!

Fantastic

Customer service was great. I ordered them with 2 day shipping, summit hut called and let me know that they may not be there in two days and let me know the situation almost immediately. The boots did show up on time after all. And out of the box they are the most comfortable and super light boots I've ever worn for military purpose. We will see how they hold to wear and tear on flat range and field environments yet. But I'm very happy with my purchase.

Previously owned a pair of Salomon GTX before trying the lowas. Super comfy boot with minimal wear in period. Heaps of room in the toe box for going downhill and great ankle support from the 8” height. Would definitely buy them again. Fantastic, hassle free support from Toms when I needed to exchange to a bigger size.

Lowa Z-8N GTX

I have been looking for an upgrade to my existing boots, I wanted a boot that looks ok to wear in public without looking too military. Good enough to walk hundreds of miles on all terrains and flexible enough to wear as motorbike boots. These bad boys do the job. They look great, are very comfortable, have awesome ankle support when you have a pack on, are waterproof, and have great grip on the ground. They are expensive but after doing my research on the boot I could not find one review where someone had a problem with them. Patrolstore needs to add Klarna or some other means to help spread the costs for us mortals, until then the credit card took the hit.Do it, nut up and buy a pair.... you wont regret it.

Lowa Z-8N GTX Black

To start off I was unsure about this model of boot, my previous boots were the Lowa Patrol boot, upon receiving my Lowa Z-8N GTX Black boots I tried them on and they felt like I was putting on a pair of trainers, they were comfortable from the get go and lightweight, as a Retail Security Officer I'm on my feet all shift and have the occasional bit of running to do. These boots allow me to run without feeling like I've got weights on my feet like the patrol boots. The only two downsides I have found for these boots is that I cannot polish the boots to a near mirror shine like I could with the patrols and that they have a fabric lace loop at the transition point to the upper of the boot in my opinion I'd prefer all lace loops to be metal. I look forward to seeing how these boots hold up over time, the soles on my patrol boots lasted 4years without being replaced, if the Z-8N GTX's can last that long I'll be happy, the tread on these boots is holding up well on the flooring tiles at my work even when they get wet.

Lowe Boots are now my boots!

Best boot purchase to-date. There was some shipping confusion with Labor day that I didn't consider. Outside of that Lowe knows exactly how a proper hiking boots should be made. My braking in process cause no issues, which braking in most boots can be problematic. I have worn these boots every day for 3 weeks so far at minimum of 8 hours feels great. Only caution would be for someone to beware that you get all the traction you looking for in these boots they do not slide so going from a soft daily shoe to this boot comes with increased almost 100% traction. The material on the inside has reduce friction against my toes, heals, and ankles which was a plus for me. Hands down the best boots ever purchases to trail in!
