Lucas Papaw Ointment (75g)

I had never heard of this but got it on a whim for my daughter who was suffering from extremely dry lips due to a medication and nothing was really helpful for her. This product helped her chapped lips a lot without irritating them more and she really liked it. She has very sensitive skin and has a reaction to a lot of product but this one doesn’t bother her at all, just helped her skin heal. We have used this on hangnails and other small injuries as well with good results. I would say it is similar to bag balm if you’re familiar. We enjoyed it and will repurchase. Also we found some tinted pawpaw that she really likes a lot but they are only for lips obviously.

My baby sister uses it all over her face before going to bed and she pops them on her new born babies too to help protect them from rashes. It is so gentle and is made out of fermented papaya. I use it to take my make up off and also on insect bites and rash. I also use it on my lips to keep them hydrated they come in a tub, a tube and a lippy tube. I grew up close to where this ointment is made and have been using it since I was a child. This ointment is great for EVERYTHING! Chapped lips, skin abrasions, itchy skin, dry skin, scars and everything in between. My mother swore by this ointment and I do as well! It is the best lip balm and it is so handy for all things skin related. I can't count the number of times I've used this ointment to soothe an ailment. The price point is good and I feel confident knowing that this is THE BEST brand of papaw ointment on the market. I would highly recommend this product!

When I would feel anxious or even bored, I just picked my dry lips til they bled. I would hide my condition by applying lip liners and lipstick, which in turn would just dry them out again - and thus begin a vicious cycle of my poor dry, cracked lips. I searched in youtube if the item I have received is original or fake. Then I found the one I received is fake. I'm very disappointed with this seller. Now I will return my order to them. Please be honest to your customers. This product Lucas Papaw Oitment is fake look at the pictures. The one I have got is color yellow. That means fake.

The genuine article

This ointment isn’t cheap, and importing it from Australia adds to the cost, but its worth doing - and a little Lucas Paw Paw goes a long way ( literally, it’s well-travelled by the time I get it). I buy multiples at a time to mitigate the air miles. I use it mostly as a lip balm, it’s soothing and doesn't make me itch. I’ve tried every lip balm on the UK market and nothing works. Lucas Paw Paw is great for me, but not advisable for someone who is allergic to Paw Paw. Beware of cheap imitations available on the websites of popular American online monsters.
