Papaw Ointment 25g - Lucas'

I had never heard of this but got it on a whim for my daughter who was suffering from extremely dry lips due to a medication and nothing was really helpful for her. This product helped her chapped lips a lot without irritating them more and she really liked it. She has very sensitive skin and has a reaction to a lot of product but this one doesn’t bother her at all, just helped her skin heal. We have used this on hangnails and other small injuries as well with good results. I would say it is similar to bag balm if you’re familiar. We enjoyed it and will repurchase. Also we found some tinted pawpaw that she really likes a lot but they are only for lips obviously.

My sister bought me this to try from Australia and it's a wonderful well-rounded ointment you can use for just about anything. Dry lips? Papaw. Healing sore? Papaw. Crusty elbows? Papaw. I even used it on my rabbit's sore hocks and saw an improvement!

im sure others have said- its just an awesome multi-purpose balm! i use it for cuts, bug bites, dry patches, extra love for elbows, ankles and knees, cuticles. i used to use it for my lips as well but then i met someone from Australia that said the original wasnt meant for lips (?) not sure if its true or not but its not an issue. my favorite way to use this tho is for bug bites. i definitely scratch until i bleed- this helps soothe the area, help the open wound and moisturize (which in turn helps the itching) honestly cant go wrong with carrying this around

I grew up close to where this ointment is made and have been using it since I was a child. This ointment is great for EVERYTHING! Chapped lips, skin abrasions, itchy skin, dry skin, scars and everything in between. My mother swore by this ointment and I do as well! It is the best lip balm and it is so handy for all things skin related. I can't count the number of times I've used this ointment to soothe an ailment. The price point is good and I feel confident knowing that this is THE BEST brand of papaw ointment on the market. I would highly recommend this product!

However, that is the only use I can find for it at the moment.❌This product doesn’t seem to perform much differently than a regular tub of Vaseline, and it is significantly more expensive and harder to find in stores. The PawPaw ointment is inoffensive and does keep in moisture, but at that price I won’t be repurchasing because I prefer other products over this one.❣️

I have been using this for over 27 years. It was strongly recommended to me, when I had my first baby, for nappy rash, it was fantastic for that. Since then I have always had it in my bathroom and also in my handbag. Using it every day at the moment for my lips as it has been cold and windy here and they are drying out, this really helps prevent chaffing. A very safe, economical product that is great for the whole family.

I’ve used several formations and scents of this.I used the yellow original tube which lasts for ages and is great for all types of moisturising..it can be used in your beauty routine or after. It is similar to Vaseline, but a lot thicker and purer. The price, in some places can be around £10. Check out TK Maxx and you can pick it up for a third of that (availability pending) I’ve also used the do stack lip combo. One side you screw open and the is the lip scrub, which also hydrates heavily. Open the opposite side of the pot and it is the ointment from the larger tubes. Thick ‘Vaseline’ consistency, if not thicker. I found this lasts along time on the lips etc. This is definitely a favorite of mine and reasonably priced.

I had really serious allergic reaction to the gel. I heard really great reviews about it so I got one from Amazon as a lip balm. At first it worked great, very moist but not sticky. However, after a few uses I started developing rashes and blisters on my lips and it was so swollen and red. I thought I had cold sore because I was going through a stressful project at work at that time. So I put on cold sore creams and used the Lucas' Papaw gel even more... Of course it didn't heal and even got worse. One day I forgot the gel at home and went on a business trip for a while, that's when my sore started getting better and I realized it was the gel's fault. I used it one more time and oh my lips! Love me some Lucas Papaw ✨ This ointment is made in Australia from pure Australian papaws.
