Mac C3 Face and Body Foundation 120ml

So I did have a love /hate relationship with this foundation but recently I've been loving this. It has the most natural finish like seriously when I powder it with transculent powder it dosen't look like I have any foundation on the skin but the skin is evened out redness canceled minor blemishes too. If I need more coverage I add a bit of concelar. It does get dewy and for somone with oily combo skin it dosen't seem ideal but it gets dewy not oily which is great. When I blot it I am left with satin finish again. It dosen't budge and dosen't settle into lines or porse. This foundation never gets cakey. I like it when I want minimal makeup or when I feel don't wearing full face of makeup.

This will forever be my favourite foundation. It’s easy to apply, matches my skin no matter how pale or tanned I am, is sweat proof and waterproof in any weather. I will always reach for this in my everyday makeup routine as well as when I get any photos done because of how good it looks on my skin. It never looks cakey, sits nicely and doesn’t transfer. I can’t say enough good things about mac face and body! Definitely try if you like sheer coverage with a natural and radiant makeup look!

MAC Face and Body is one of my favorite products by MAC,only surpassed by my holy grail forever-Strobe Cream-which makes a great base for FB. The new formula is a bit more luminous but is absolutely just as great as the original. The product is thin and watery in texture,comparable to Glossier Skin Tint,Chanel Vitalumiére Aqua,Dior Backstage Face and Body or Charlotte Tilbury Light Wonder. While MAC bills it as a foundation, I find it more like a skin tint. It blends beautifully and is very buildable. The coverage is sheer and very skin like. It's also transfer-proof. In my opinion it blends best with fingers,but a brush or Beauty Blender work just as well,too. This is one of those products that doesn't require a lot of effort-it blends quickly and doesn't pill or sit in dry spots,etc. I find it to be a very forgiving formula. A little bit goes a long way. The shade range is extensive as are the undertones. If I could fix one thing, I would add SPF to the formula,but this is not a deal-breaker personally as I wear a separate SPF daily anyway.This product wears nicely all day-there's almost no fading or creasing. This is just an all-around great product. I can see it working on all types of skin. I have seen this recommended by many makeup artists as well. MAC Face and Body foundation is 39$ and can be found on the MAC website,their makeup counters,Ulta,and almost any department store such as Nordstrom or Saks. Again, I highly recommend this for a range of skin types. It's absolutely an iconic product for good reason.

I have been using this on and off for years. I always had a bottle of N7 since I was 23 to use as a body makeup. I’m super pale but I like my limbs to be darker. It’s sheer so it’s useable and looks beautiful. I have N2 N3 but I now need N1 since I’ve stopped tanning and self tanning during the winter. I’m now 40 but this stuff still works better than anything else I’ve tried. It make your skin look like skin and I don’t like the new product. Not for me. This you can mix with anything and I’m sorry to see it disappear from MAC.

Phenomenal. No foundation has wowed me like this one has the first time I put it on my skin. I've tried a lot of sheer foundations, both in the Western and Korean markets and comparing them to this one, it’s definitely my favourite. Being a dude who doesn't want anyone to notice I'm wearing makeup on my face this does it for me and addresses all the minor issues I have with my skin while still being undetectable. Primarily I want to correct discoloration (redness in my cheek area), this also seems to make my pores appear smaller. Amazingly, this is a dewy foundation that actually dries down and doesn't transfer on my skin, and putting on a light layer (no powder!) of this under my mask doesn't transfer at all onto it after a whole day! This just makes your skin look moisturised and healthy in one light layer, most definitely my skin but better. Absolutely no patchiness or anything. You can build it up and those properties heighten; more coverage (up to medium coverage) and to a dewier finish. I usually apply this with my hands or a brush, I wouldn't recommend a sponge as the coverage in this is already quite sheer. With hands is definitely the best way, you get most coverage and it seems that the heat of the hands just melts this into the skin even more. I sometimes can't be bothered with my hands and with a dense brush this also works great. N2 is a perfect match, actually the closest match out of all my foundations (yes, I've swatched and blended it a bit also built up to medium coverage to confirm). C2 was waay too warm for my skin despite me being warm toned. It's also fragrance free and you get great value out of the product. A forever favourite!!!

Best foundation by far!!!!

I actually use C1 however it won't allow me to review when selecting this shade! I have been using this foundation on and off for about 14 years and always return to this foundation due to its staying powder natural buildable coverage from sheer to medium! I have combination skin with extremely oily tzone and dry under my eyes and mid portion of face but this foundation stays put on the oily parts of my face and doesn't cling the the dry areas it gives a natural done up look and never lets me down! I pair it with macs prep and prime powder to ensure it remains as transfer resistant as possible and this combination really works for me! It doesn't settle in fine lines and can be dressed up for a night out or perfect for daily wear. I also feel it is slightly more moisturising compared to other foundations and have a good selection of shades even for very pale neutral tones like myself which are extremely hard to find as most pale shades are aimed at cool pink toned skins instead! I hope Mac continue to keep making this original version as personally I really don't like the new illuminated version ( some of us those with oilier skin don't need any help with illuminating foundations!) and as an existing original face and body foundation wearer i can't recommend this foundation more it's the perfect foundation that never lets me down!

Not a fan

I ended up trying this for a cosplay look as I wanted something lightweight and a touch sheer, but this stuff just makes it look like you're wearing greasy sunscreen with some white cast.I found that it was WAY too hydrating and impossible to build up. It also made my skin look really oily and smudged no matter how carefully I applied it. I tried it with and without primers/powders/setting sprays and nothing worked. Definitely not waterproof, crease resistant, or long wearing.Really bummed as there aren't too many white foundations on the market that aren't extremely opaque and drying

Perfect for my skin type.

Love this foundation and lasts forever! For someone that has literally tried every foundation that exists this is my holy grail! For my almost 40 year old skin this foundation doesn't set in fine lines and has lovely dewy finish. Sheer but buildable ( lets my freckles shine through). I have sensitive skin and doesn't break me out. I had my sister visit who hadn't seen me for years and she commented on how good my makeup looks! Funny thing is I am spending the least I have ever done and my skin looks better than it ever has. This foundation has a natural finish without that caked on feel. If you love a natural finish this foundation fits that look.

Such a disappointing reformulation

I was so excited when MAC announced new colors for Face and Body. I LOVED the old formulation, but could never get an exact match without adding a good bit of the white mixer. The new W0 shade is a perfect match for me, however-- which makes it all the more upsetting that MAC has chosen to reformulate this so badly, as many other reviewers have already noted. Now it's oily, shiny, has a white cast in the light colors, and separates after a couple of hours. The old formula was seamless and perfectly skin like. The best

The original face and body is the absolute best - I have dry, acne prone skin with psoriasis and this is just the best for a sheer coverage so my makeup doesn't look cakey like all foundations do on me. It doesn't stick to dry eczema patches like all other do. Absolutely HATE the size.. 120ml so no chance of using it for travel when that's what I want it for! And HATE HATE HATE the face and body radiance 50ml - it is nothing like the original and it somehow looks dry but greasy on my skin and sticks to my eczema and psoriasis patches! PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE release this is lighter shades and travel appropriate sizing!! Please 🙏❤️
