Mac Cosmetics Studio Radiance Moisturizing + Illuminating Silky Primer 30ml

I think this is so pretty and it lays lovely under foundation. Not too glowy like the saie star glow and nice and hydrating but doesn’t make you look goopy. I am wearing it with the Numéro Un de Chanel en BD21 which is Beige Doré- as in Doré- gold en Français so the undertone is more golden. Better for me then the B 20 and 30 that I wear in all the other types of Chanel foundation which next to clé de Peau and Westman atelier and Monica blunder is my favorite foundation. Hahaha I have so many and I don’t even wear foundation however I do love the new Chanel teint in B30 you can see it on the old Chanel Teint page in light along with the blushes. I forget how much it was I was on one of those ulta trips where you just start picking stuff up until things are falling out of your arms and all the sales people are asking you if you need help and you keep saying no and then another thing falls out and you have so much and you are wearing your pj’s and you are sure they think you are stealing 😂😂😂 then you get to the front and it’s like 250 and you pay for it and you can tell they are judging you hardcore. does anyone know what I mean??

Excellent formula

The primer is light on the face, absorbs quickly and helps to set different makeup products very well. I tried applying the primer on some spots on my skin to see if they help the foundation to set better and cover the spots almost completely and I was pleasantly surprised! The foundation not only set very well, but the luminosity of the primer helped to hide the blemish better and give my skin a fresh and radiant touch. I also tried the primer with different shades of eyeshadow and I liked the fact that it didn't make the matte shadows shine but it did help to enhance the colors. Functional and sweet but small

This primer works well as a primer in that it kept my face makeup on throughout the day, prevented patchiness and dryness and seemed to minimize my pores a bit. It also had a great scent and texture (light, just runny enough to be able to blend easily) which was fine even for my sensitive, oily skin. I liked how moisturizing it was. This is not meant to reduce oiliness as it is relatively moisturizing and slick. Doesn't leave a matte finish, more satin-y. My one note was that it is quite a small product. Since it covers most of my face, I'd love to have a bigger bottle to get more value from the product.

My opinion on Mac Primer

So I got accepted to try on the Mac radiance primer.... I honestly can't complain about it. One thing I realized it did keep my makeup on point for over a full day. I was shocked for how good this product was I had no issue when I was applying my makeup also the only reason I didn't give it a 5 star was how thick it was.. I only put a few drops but it felt as thick as Vaseline. So I just rubbing it in circles until I felt like it wasn't as thick but It did a nice glow on the face so over all I would recommend anyone to try it out especially if you do have dry skin. I have sensitive skin and i was amazed on how my skin reacted it didn't make Me break out nor it didn't make my face more oiler. Near Perfect Primer

I absolutely loved using this primer! The consistency was amazing and the scent was quite pleasant. It doesn't leave a weird residue and my foundation applies very smoothly on top of it. I wore it throughout the day while running errands and my makeup still held up despite the summer heat. My main complaint about the product is the packaging. I'm fine with the tube but I could do without the pump. It took me several pumps to get the product out and it was pretty frustrating. Other than that I will definitely buy this again when given the opportunity.

Not for me

I received this Mac Primer for free from bzzagent in exchange for my honest review. I use primer every time I put on makeup. My usual primer is the ELF poreless putty primer. It is matte and it is soft. This was my first time using a non matte primer. Before the power of accutane and spironolactone my skin was very oily. A primer like this Mac one would not have been my first choice. Now, after both pills, my skin is mostly dry with a slight T-zone oiliness. This Mac primer is still not for me. If the look that you are going for with your primer and makeup is dewy and plump then this is for you. If you are like me and want a matte finish then this is not for you. Perfect for All Skin Types

I think I have finally found a primer that works for my combination skin type. Having an oil t-zone but being extremely dry everywhere else, it is hard finding a makeup primer that caters to both my dry and oily skin. Most primers that I have tried either are too oily or too drying and I'm happy to say this one is a great middle ground. The first time I tested it out, it was 100 degrees in Southern California and my makeup still looked fresh at the end of the night. I also applied a small amount under my eyes to set in my concealer and it worked very well. I did not have any problems with my concealer creasing like I normally do at the end of the day. All in all, I think this primer has become a staple in my routine and I would highly recommend it.

RADIANCE

I was absolutely obsessed with the packaging. It looks so formal and Chic. When I opened it up I was surprised how big the Mac Cosmetics Studio Radiance Primer was. Im this could seriously last me the longest time. I love the shiny and feet feel it had in my face. It was very light weight and left my skin absolutely radiant and glowing! The smell was also a plus. I was very intrigued by the shape and the texture of the Mac Cosmetics Studio Radiance Primer. I would definitely recommend this to my friends! I will be posting it in my social media and bragging about how awesome the Mac Cosmetics Studio Radiance Primer is!

If I didn't like it or saw any issues, I'd be the first to share. That being said, this has become my go-to primer.
