Mac Prep + Prime Skin Refined Zone

I have found such a beautiful product for my pores, this product makes my skin feel like baby skin. I thought this wouldn’t work for me with my dry skin because all my oily skin gals are using it. I was so wrong about it, many refined zone from different brands will dry me out, give me a white cast, or roll up on my skin, this product did none of that. It made my pores feel like they weren’t even there, just so soft, no texture. I have been suffering from large pores my whole life this has definitely changed the game! I have heard over time it does  exfoliate the area softly enough to see a difference of your pores, keeping them from becoming clogged pores!

AMAZING! SUPER LONG LASTING!

I was looking for a product to prime my eyelids before setting with powder and do my usual eyeliner application (I usually stay like 12 hours+ with makeup). Not sure why, I used to wear the combo eyeshadow+concealer and it was working but recently I feel that my eyelids are changing a bit with age, they have less tonus and are more oily. Therefore my combo was creasing my eyelids all the time and I had to change concealer for something else. Thisss product is doing WONDERRRS FOR ME !! I'M ABSOLUTELY LOVING IT! Eyeliner and eyeshadow are in place for some many hours, I don't have to retouch or be worried that my eyelids are creasing anymore! And a very small tiny amount goes to the whole eyelid. Seriously a game changer for me.

BEST OIL CONTROL PRIMER KNOWN TO MANKIND!!!!

Game Changer!!!

This stuff is AMAZING! Before I started using the Skin Refined Zone Treatment my nose would look like an oil slick by noon. It was almost like my Studio Fix Fluid was floating on my nose. I went into a MAC store and was recommended this product and the Mineralize Charged Water Moisture Gel. The MAC artist said I was "moisturizing" my oily skin instead of hydrating my oily skin. These two products together have been a game changer! By the end of the day, no oily nose and my foundation looks as good as it does when I first put it on in the morning. I haven't experienced any of the balling up issues other mention. I use a beauty blender to dab makeup onto my oily areas. I think dabbing makeup on top of the Skin Refined Zone Treatment is they way to prevent that problem.

Really works!

I was sceptical about this product. I have an oily t-zone and large pores on my nose. Most primers just cannot cope with both of these issues well, but I had heard good things about this one so thought I'd give it a try! Wow, firstly: it really does keep shine at bay. One of few products that keeps my skin shine-free for hours and helps my foundation to stick to my nose. The pore-filling/blurring aspect is also fab. I find it works best for me if I apply it before my SPF or under another light layer of a fluid primer (I use Dior Backstage generally), and then foundation goes on like a dream over the top and my nose is so smooth, and matte! Really happy with this product!

WORSE PRIMER EVER

I should've got a sample of this first, but i bought it due to the need of a primer pronto , and i've read soo many good things about this but it was terrible on me and i cant figure out if its the way im applying it or what foundation i pare it up with or what but it looks terrible. I've worn this with and without the mac oil control lotion, applied in several different ways (patting and rubbing in ) used kat von d liquid foundation and revlon colorstay liquid foundation ( maybe it needs something more liquidy?) and it was still terrible. It would go on super patchy, wouldn't allow me to blend in my foundation, if i tried it would just feel super dry and cause my foundation to sort of rub off or bunch up and cause redness. Definetly does not conceal pores, it makes them more noticeable especially with foundation on which is abnormal because even if i dont wear a primer underneath my foundation , they were never THAT NOTICEABLE. It would make any texture on my face literally a 1000x more noticebale even peach fuzz. . it felt soo dry on and it was so hard to move. This is literally the worse primer i have ever tried. And without makeup, if i was to just apply the primer, it was still hard to move and leaves a little white residue that is visible on my nose. Definitely would not repurchase. I would return it if returning wasn't such a hassle online. It's just overall terrible.

I have been using this Mac primer for years. It is smooth and easy to apply so my tinted moisturizer goes on smoothly and evenly. A must for mature, 50+, skin!I have tried many others but consider this to be perfect.
