Made in Stainless Clad Stock Pots
A watched pot never boils—unless it’s part of our Award-Winning Stainless Clad Collection. Unlike flimsy, lower-quality options, the Stock Pot is constructed from 5 layers of metal for heightened durability and conductivity, so pasta water goes from room temperature to a rolling boil in just minutes. Its 360-degree cladding also improves heat circulation, so cooking is more consistent whether you’re blanching, canning, or making stock. The 5-ply construction cleans up in seconds, because it prevents the hot spots that lead to stuck-on messes. Two looped handles and an angled rim make transport and pouring simple, while a tight-fitting lid traps steam to accelerate your boil and lock in flavor.

Amazingly gorgeous in physical beauty as it feels heavy-duty durable quality, and functions well, just as I expected, 100% satisfied. Once I received it, I waited a good week for UPS to arrive at my front door, I excitedly quickly opened the box, took pictures of it to show my Mom, washed & rinsed my pot, and immediately began to test it out with some pasta, I was amazed, I’m looking forward to creating culinary creations with this pot for the rest of my lifetime, and sharing with others. I am spreading the word around how amazing madeincookware is, and my Mom and friends are already purchasing from madeincookware. Continue being awesome, madeincookware, much appreciated!

The stock pot has been a welcome addition to our kitchen! We began married life 35 years ago with a perfectly serviceable cook set from RevereWare. Through the years we've replaced different pieces from various makers. Cuisinart, ScanPan, All-Clad, Le Creuset, etc. Some have been great additions and some have not exceeded our original RevereWare. This Made In stock pot is a piece that has exceeded our simple needs. It is hefty without being too heavy. It heats evenly across the entire bottom. It "feels" solid and well made and it just makes me happy to pull it out and use it.In the 5 weeks I've owned this stock pot I've made stock four times and chili once and each time it performed beautifully. Once it even stood in as a mixing bowl when I was making several large ... MoreThe stock pot has been a welcome addition to our kitchen! What can't this pot do?I can't complete this review without mentioning the price point on this piece. I am willing to wait and save for a quality piece to add to my kitchen but Made In is exceedingly high quality at a relatively moderate price.I will buy Made In again.

I just received my new 8 quart stock pot. It is exceptionally well made, I cooked a large pot of chili in it and they are correct that you don't need a high heat to cook in these pots. I sautéd peppers and onions with a small amount of oil and nothing stuck. I compared these pots to All-Clad and decided that for the cost, this was a better product. The reason for the 4 stars: the pot is very heavy but I think all good quality pots are probably this heavy. Also, I had to use a small amount of Barkeepers friend to clean it after the chili. (It does look like its never been used!!)
I have been using my Made-In stockpot for 3 weeks now, and I could not be more pleased. The wider base with shorter height is a game-changer, making it so much easier to see and control and manipulate food in the pot. My stove is staying a lot cleaner because I can use this pot for so many things - without splattering. The distribution of heat is good - I have been able to brown meat and poultry well without scorching. The volume is just right for making hearty soups and chili for 8-10 hungry people. I tend to power cook - giving half away or freezing /storing for multiple meals. I also really like the weight and feel of the pot and its lid - The handles are comfortably situated and generous in size without being bulky. They don’t get super hot. The pot feels ... The pot feels substantial, yet it is not too hard on my wrists(tendinitis). It cleans up in a jiff, too. After the first use, the bottom of the pot was not as even in color as when I received it,. I am not sure why that is, but appearances are about 10th on my list of priorities. This is a legacy pot that I plan to pass on to one of my kids. As I replace key pieces of cookware I will definitely look at Made-In first.
I recently purchased my first piece of Made-in cookware as a holiday gift. First impressions - the pot was beautiful and you can tell the build quality was excellent. I used my stock pot to make beef broth - after an all day cook the pot performed admirably. The pot heated up quickly and it was easy to keep temperature control and keep the broth simmering all day. The size of the pot (12 qt) was also deceiving. The pot looks short, but is very wide, which is perfect for making stock. The only negative feedback I have is that the basic, no frills cardboard packaging leaves a bit to be desired. The packaging certainly does not give the customer the impression they have just purchased a premium grade of cookware. I also think it would be nice if they included seasoning ... The build quality and cooking performance are excellent. Overall, I am extremely happy with this purchase and I look forward to purchasing additional pots and pans to add to my kitchen.
I save all my bones from my pork, chicken and beef products in a freezer bag. I wanted a substantial stockpot to make homemade broth/stock. I own many Made In pots and pans and I was excited to get this well made product from my favorite cookware company. When my freezer bag is full, I slow simmer the bones to make stock or soup broth. Excellent quality and perfect design as usual with their products. I hope to one day own every pot and pan they manufacture. I highly recommend their product line. . I often purchase Made In products as gifts for family and friends who are serous about cooking. They are always thrilled with the quality, design and functionality of Made In products.
Picture youurself in your kitchen, with a pot of boiling water on the stove, about to drop in half a box spaghetti to quell the ravenous beasts that roam your home. As you pour your half-box of pasta into the pot, woe unto you! The pasta is too long for your pot! It is propped awkwardly and only half-submerged until, several minutes later, the submerged half of the pasta has cooked enough to bend. Then, at the end of the box-suggested cook time, you are left with pasta more cooked on one side than the other. The ravenous beasts may not be able to tell, but you in all your sagaciousness know this to be true. With the Made In stock pot, you will no longer have to suffer inconsistently cooked long pasta! The first time you find yourself dropping half a box of spaghetti into a Made In stock pot of boiling water, you will be pleasantly surprised to find you now own a pot that fits your pasta. This may seem trivial as you read this review. I get it. I didn't understand the feeling of satisfaction of owning a pot that properly fits my pasta until not too long ago. Please, believe me when I tell you, the sense of satisfaction that comes with every instance of cooking long pasta is worth purchasing this pot.
Why 3 stars? I bought this pot primarily for boiling noodles safely, and also parboiling and steaming vegetables and it more poorly than I expected. So far boiling noodles is problematic. The holes in the inner strainer are so small that they break up the bubbles that would normally move the noodles around and prevent sticking and clumping i.e. there is no rolling boil.Once boiled it is easy to remove the noodles and place the strainer on a dish working the way I hoped. But I have to pay too much attention to the boiling process to ensure the noodles stay separate and do not stick.I am going to keep the pot and will probably experiment with slightly enlarging the strainer holes. If you are considering purchasing this pot for noodle prep I suggest you call Madein ... Hi - first of all THANK YOU for asking. It constantly amazes me that companies don’t more regularly ask their customers for feedback about what works and what doesn’t work about their products and services - I mean what better feedback could you get and it’s for free?I will tell you that my stock pot (a gift for my husband - the cook in our family) arrived but the box was in bad shape - one of the pot handles completely protruded out of a break/hole in the box. I took pics just in case there was damage but once unpacked we saw no appreciable damage at all.My husband loves the pot, he comes from a restaurant family so he appreciates quality cookware - but we can’t always affords some of the really high priced sets out there.Your advertising immediately grabbed my ... My next purchase will be a set of knives and am seriously considering your set - they are beautiful, but I will be looking for reviews on them to make a final decision!Keep up the great work! Your products are amazing and the creativity and design of your entire process is really appreciated! Thanks - David Karsten
