I love Thai curry! I love red curry for its spice and incredible flavor. I normally make my own curry paste but recently moved to an area that I cannot get the raw ingredients so I purchased this on Amazon. My friend from Thailand recommended this brand. I love the thick can and they are stackable so they take little space on my cabinet. I opened and it is overwhelming fish sauce smell. I started to cook it in the pan to get the water out and thicken the sauce, but the smell is so strong of fish sauce. I love fish sauce but this is so strong. I then add coconut milk. This has no flavor at all just salty. I added some extra garlic, ginger, and other spices, but this was just not good.

I love this! Great flavor! I used to make an amazing curry that I loved with a different curry paste, the only one I could get from the local grocery store. Over the years though, this product reduced its heat and became bland. At the suggestion of the internet that Maesri has the best flavor and heat, I purchased a container from Amazon. Price wise, great, you get 14 oz. for around $5.15. I used it for the first time last night in my old recipe that I couldn't eat the last time I made it just b/c the flavor wasn't there. I loved this!! I'd suggest not using the full two tablespoons recommended, its so spicy and so good, so take care when thinking of your own spice level preferences! Enjoy!

This brand is one of the best, specially when making asian curry dishes. Very great price spicy..love the flavor! You can buy this at your local Asian store. When we make Lao Kaopoon this is the paste we add into the pot.

Parcel received in good condition. The paste is actually packed in thick plastic and placed in the bottle. The paste gives a nice heat and depth of green curry flavour. Really delicious. Will definitely repeat order!

Great brand

I'd be making red Thai curry dishes for years and this is absolutely the best brand. You only use a little so freeze the rest then you can take out a teaspoon at a time. The yellow and green curry is good as well

Hard to find!!

I was happy to find Walmart sold this excellent Thai Red Curry paste. Its hard to find so it was great to buy 4 at one time at a good price. Very spicy hot and perfect flavor.

Thai holy basil paste

I love Thai food but it is hard for me to get Thai ingredients because I am wheelchair bound. This holy basil paste is great and gives the right Thai flavor to the food. Just remember a little goes a long way. Thanks for having it available. It is heat with fish and vegetables.

Spicy Basil is one of my favorite Thai dishes. It’s a famous dish in Thailand. I always order it when I go to a Thai restaurant. So glad that I am able to find it online and at a great price too. Now I can make it at home. It’s quick and easy to cook, just add the meat you like; beef, chicken, pork or seafood. This is VERY tasty and authentic. I love Lobo brand!!!
