Maison Margiela Replica Jazz Club Eau De Toilette Spray 30ml
Strong spirits and cigars—these words, printed on the signature label of the Jazz Club bottle, encapsulate the essence of the fragrance. To truly experience its vividness, imagine an evening in one of New York's old jazz clubs. Dim lighting, the melody of a saxophone and double bass, an intimate atmosphere filled with the dense scent of tobacco smoke mixed with rich, slightly sweet whiskey. The eau de toilette from Maison Martin Margiela has a sensual, rather soft and intoxicating presence, perfect for cold weather. Especially when you need to warm someone beside you. The magic of jazz, embodied in this fragrance, penetrates the soul and creates a feeling of warmth with a hint of nostalgia and relaxation—as if you're surrounded by old friends. Top notes—a refreshing blend of lemon, neroli, and a hint of pink pepper—like a spark inviting you into the captivating world of jazz. Heart notes recreate the sensation of the first sip of warming rum, enriched with the earthy tone of Javanese vetiver and the aroma of clary sage. Base notes evoke the scent of cigars lazily smoldering in the hands of patrons. This is thanks to the woody-smoky accord of tobacco leaf and the cozy-sweet combination of vanilla with styrax.

There is no way to be delicate about the fact REPLICA Jazz Club is one of the most upsetting fragrances I have ever experienced. I am a woman who regularly wears men’s fragrances and veers toward the bold. I currently love Tom Ford Ombré Leather and thought I would try this for the cooler months as well. However, this is a HARD PASS for me. The website says this is a warm, cozy fragrance “inspired by the scents wafting throughout a Brooklyn jazz club”intended to “awaken the senses with contrasting lemon and pink pepper followed by rum accord, vanilla perfume, and smoky tobacco leaf to remind you of opened cigar boxes and worn leather barstools”. What this fragrance did was remind me of dirty carpet, snuffed out cigarettes, old women wearing too much perfume and disgusting cabs. I sent the following description to a friend via text while wearing this fragrance: “I put it on and it was like a squeeze of spicy lemon pledge on a pile of cut up sticks…Then just a headache inducing vanilla like in old woman’s perfume started developing after 10 mins and just. kept. coming… It’s been on my skin awhile now. Was smelling like Black Milds and playground mulch for a long time… It’s not spicy anymore. It’s still making my throat close and head pound when my arms get near my face. It smells like old dirty carpet and grandmas with too much perfume on to me…. It’s making me sick to my stomach”. If you love vanilla heavy tobacco scents, this may be the fragrance for you. Try before you buy. Otherwise, you may have the experience above. Godspeed.

Lately I've been all about the fragrances. I've been trying to get my hands on as many different scents as possible. I've been having a great time exploring the world of fragrance, and have been learning a few things here and there along the way as well. Every time I order something from Sephora I try to get at least one fragrance sample, and I'm starting to build up quite a little collection. With one of my latest orders I received Maison Margiela's "Jazz Club". Before I actually sprayed it and just smelled it in the bottle, I did not like this scent at ALL, I thought it smelled absolutely terrible. After I actually sprayed it on myself though, that was a whole different story. I ended up really liking this scent! The first thing I smelled was the vanilla. Then I ... After I actually sprayed it on myself though, that was a whole different story. I ended up really liking this scent! The first thing I smelled was the vanilla. Then I got soft hints of the pink pepper and the tobacco leaf. Tobacco leaf? In a perfume? It sounds absolutely crazy, but it WORKS, and it smells darn good! I don't claim to be any kind of perfume expert, these are just my opinions and observations. It projected some, but not much, and stayed for a few hours, but not all day. It's definitely a unisex/genderless scent that could be worn by either a man or woman confidently. It's from the warm and spicy fragrance family and the woody spices scent type. The key notes are: pink pepper, rum absolute, and tobacco leaf absolute. In this scent, a smooth cocktail of warm scents and spicy fragrances awakens the senses with contrasting lemon and pink pepper followed by neroli oil, rum, and vanilla perfume atop smoky tobacco leaf. Inspired by the scents wafting throughout a Brooklyn club, this eau de toilette brims with the sweet notes of opened cigar boxes, old leather bar stools, and finely aged liquor. I wasn't expecting to like this fragrance at all, but was very pleasantly surprised. If you're into unisex fragrances I definitely suggest checking this one out. The Maison Margiela "Replica" Line is quickly becoming one of my new favorites!

Maison Margiela Replica By the Fireplace Eau de Toilette has always made me think of burnt marshmallows with their gooey centers dripping out; black smoke tendrils from the charred exterior mixed with the sticky, sweet vanilla interior. The fragrance is enhanced by a strong nuttiness, light spice (the clove doesn’t dominate), and a smooth, woody base. I find that most of the notes are well-blended and don’t stand out individually except for the cade oil, chestnut, and vanilla. * top notes: pink pepper, orange flower petals, clove oil * heart notes: chestnut accord, gaiac wood oil, cade oil * base notes: vanilla accord, Peru balsam, cashmeran The pink pepper hit first, but then was quickly swallowed by sweet orange wafting through a campfire where people were ... The perfume very much delivers on replicating the idea of “By the Fireplace.” Cade oil is distinct throughout the opening and through the first few hours; it was dry, smoky, and tarry, which was what gave it the “fireplace” smell. The darker, smoky undertone lingered for the majority of the wear, but it softened inch by inch as the fragrance developed on skin as the nutty, woodsy notes intensified and the sweetness became thicker and more resinous with a vanilla-amber swirl. By the fourth hour of wear, it was much subtler, while the spiced vanilla and woods made up the majority of the aroma, which lingered for several hours more. For an Eau de Toilette, it had exceptional longevity for me. It’s a scent that I can put two sprays on in the morning and find myself with remnants 12 hours later. I don’t find it has a long trail nor a ton of projection, but it has some projection for the first hour or so. I have actually had this perfume around before this campaign and it’s something both my boyfriend and I use! The bottle has less than half to go, so you know it’s something that gets used frequently (though less so lately, given my penchant for testing all the new scents!). It has just enough of the dark, black smoke to invoke char but not to the point where it dominates, and the sweetness of vanilla, nuttiness of chestnut, and the spiced, ambery woods wrap it into a warm and cozy scent.

Top notes- cloves, pink pepper, orange blossom Middle notes- chestnut, guaiac wood, juniper Base notes- vanilla, peru balsam, cashmeran Bravo MM… the mission to invoke memories through formulating scents, this juice was incredibly well done. This fragrance is smokey, spicy, warm cozy. Truly emulates being around a fireplace. This fragrance has been my signature fall/winter scent for years. For those familiar with BBW’s Marshmallow Fireside candle, this is EXACTLY that scent formulated into a fragrance. It is no wonder I felt so much nostalgia when I first came across this. Clearly if you are not fond of smokiness within your fragrances, do not expect to fall in love with this scent. Not everyone will appreciate the idea of smelling like a bonfire I respect that.
Having worn Maison Margiela Replica Jazz Club, I can confidently say that this fragrance is a unique and intoxicating experience. From the first spray to the final notes, this scent takes you on a journey to a smoky, dimly-lit jazz club. The opening notes of pink pepper and neroli are spicy and warm, setting the mood for the rest of the fragrance. As it settles, the heart notes of rum, clary sage, and Java vetiver come through, adding depth and complexity. The base notes of tobacco leaf, vanilla, and styrax create a warm and smoky finish that lingers for hours. The sprayer works well, delivering a fine mist that distributes the fragrance evenly on the skin. Overall, I highly recommend Maison Margiela Replica Jazz Club to anyone looking for a unique and alluring fragrance. It's a scent that transports you to another time and place, and it's become a staple in my collection. If you're looking for a fragrance that's bold, complex, and unforgettable, look no further than Maison Margiela Replica Jazz Club.
This is kind of a love hate mixed review. I am so dissapointed that I love this scent but the ingredients list is terrible! I will not be using this product after scanning it In my cleraya app and finding that it contains icky ingredients. Before I had checked that list, trying out this perfume was a delight. The scent was exactly as it sounds. Smoky sweetness that makes you think of cozy winter nights infront of the fireplace with A warm sweater on and something soothing to drink. It has this warm vanilla undertone that is very interesting. When I wore this around, I got several compliments. When you initially spray this fragrance, the initial impression is smokey. I could see where it might throw some people off. But just wait for it to settle and mix with your own chemistry. I found it mixed with mine perfectly. This would be exactly what I would wear all winter. This is a eau de toilette so the lasting power was lacking, BUT for me I do not like a fragrance that lasts all day long. I would rather reapply than have something that is too strong that doesnt let up all day. This would have been perfect, until I saw this is not a clean fragrance. I cannot confidently wear this or recommend to someone. But for the ingredients, this would have been an absolute slam dunk. Such a shame.
First off I will start by saying I do love this fragrance composition and I only rated it four stars for longevity. So for me personally I love a fragrance that lasts a long time. This lasts I would say maybe three hours on me before having to reapply. Not sure if I go nose blind quickly or if its so delicious I just have to keep spraying. Notes listed are: orange flower, clove oil, and chestnut atop a comforting vanilla fragrance. To me the orange and vanilla smells like carmel or praline with Clove being a background note. The Clove and Chestnut make it spicy and warm like literally being by a fireplace in the winter without being super heavy and smokey. I love layering this fragrance with Ellis Brooklyn Après EDP. Also I would recommend buying the largest size because I received the 1oz on November 29th and as of writing this review (Dec 22nd) it is almost completely gone. I am a heavy sprayer when wearing fragrance tho so I'll deff be keeping this in my winter fragrance rotation. If you want something from the brand with similar vibes that lasts slightly longer on the skin check out Jazz Club.
When it comes to fragrances, the separation of winners and losers is essentially dependent upon the balance between supporting notes and main notes. While Jazz club is appropriately touted for its heavy-handed tobacco and spiced rum notes, perhaps its most underrated quality concerns the amalgamated supporting notes, namely, citrus, vetiver, and sweet vanilla. Upon application, you’ll be intoxicated by sexy, citrusy, pink pepper notes that blend seamlessly with a boozy-rum kick. Yet, as time passes, you’ll enjoy a sweet, powdery, vanilla rum aroma that lingers for several hours. Yet, as time passes, you’ll enjoy a sweet, powdery, vanilla rum aroma that lingers for several hours. This is undoubtedly a scent that draws attention as it is extremely interesting and masterfully blended. Notwithstanding, it is important to recognize that while wearing Jazz Club, people might precipitously become more interested in you (more so than that of what you are generally accustomed to). Knowing this might be important for some people, as not everyone wants superfluous attention. So, be alert, as people might (actually) enter your personal space to make sense of what they are experiencing. After one whiff of Jazz Club, people want more; the scent generally piques curiosity, causing the need for further olfactive investigation.
Maison Margiela's Replica fragrances have been hit or miss for me... Some of them like "When the Rain Stops" I've absolutely loved, others like "Jazz Club", I've been not so crazy about. I kept seeing reviews about how great "Beach Walk" smelled, so when I got the chance to try it with my latest Sephora order I jumped on it. I have to admit too, it doesn't disappoint! This fragrance smells wonderful! It definitely reminds me of summertime and of my times spent on the beach. I know that it's a genderless/"unisex" fragrance, but I would say that this is probably a little more on the feminine side in my opinion, although I'm no way any kind of perfume expert by any means. It reminds me firstly of sunscreen, sand, and the ocean. The scents I pick up on most are probably the coconut and ylang ylang. This fragrance makes me want to be on the beach somewhere, relaxing in my bathing suit, soaking up the sun. It's considered a "fresh" scent, and has notes of bergamot, ylang ylang, coconut milk accord, and white musk. The key notes are: bergamot, heliotrope, and coconut milk. It's a fresh scent inspired by salty air and rays of sun where bergamot and pink pepper fuse with lemon atop a floral perfume of heliotrope, coconut milk, and musk. Memories of endless summer days, the scent of salty air, and the glow of sun-kissed skin are evoked with each fine mist. Footprints in the sand and the scent of sunscreen wafting through the air bring inspiration to this warm yet refreshing fragrance. Now I can totally see what all the hype is about. This fragrance not only smells incredible, but it definitely evokes warm memories of great times spent on the beach, and summers passed. This is the absolute perfect scent to wear for summer, and I 100% recommend trying it for yourself. I think that it will most likely captivate you the way it has with me and so many others!
