Sailing Day is a nice fresh unisex fragrance with moderate sillage and longetivity. Although a bit generic and maybe boring for some, it does have some characteristics that I think set it apart. Where most freshies rely on citrus, this one tends to rely on salty, soapy, aquatic notes. It truly evokes the feeling of being on a boat in open water on a hot summer day. I recommend sampling it first because certain notes (what I’m guessing is the seaweed and rose combo) can come off funky and musty for some based on reviews, others may be pleasantly surprised and find an alternative to the citrusy blues the fragrance market has been overloaded with over the past few years.

Picked this up after seeing a TikTok claiming this scent was reminiscent of a seaside scene from one of my favorite movies of all time and it was spot on. I grew up by the ocean and this perfume manages to perfectly capture that carefree, spent all day-in-the-sun-by-the-water romantic feeling that I associate with the ocean. Its clean scent makes it very versatile and perfect for any gender. Have also noticed that it lasts throughout the whole day and blends with my natural scent in a very flattering way.

This truly encapsulates a beautiful day out on the water. It’s a bold fresh and aquatic scent without being nauseating. So many times I’ve found that aquatic notes will strike a headache in me that won’t quit. However, Maison Margiela has nailed this one on the head. With that being said, I don’t find this scent to be overly feminine. This would be great for the office, errands, or out on the water, but I’d give it a hard pass for any sort of date.

As someone who doesn't love super flowery scents and prefers more unisex smells, this perfume is perfect. It smells fresh and clean and just like the ocean. I layer it with Inis Sea cologne to create a nice beachy fresh combination. The only thing I don't like about this perfume is that the scent fades more quickly than I'd like. However, if you pair it with another scent like I do, it's great! And it helps conserve the perfume because it's so expensive

I’ve owned sailing day for about two years now and I adore it! It’s my go to summer scent. The aquatic notes almost play off an ozone note in the fragrance that makes it read very fresh and clean on the skin. It’s a delicious wet, salty and fresh scent that can easily be layered in the spring and summertime. Smells strong and has great longevity on my skin chemistry. I got the big bottle and I wear it daily 90+ days out of the year, the dent hasn't even reached the label. Love it!

My FAVORITE Aquatic Scent

This is my favorite aquatic scent by far! The scent also stays on my clothes for such a long time-- I can get away with one or two spritz and know my jacket will smell just as good on day 3 as it did on day 1. So even though the product is may seem expensive, it isn't overpriced AT ALL. Honestly for how long it lasts, I would even pay more for the product. If you're going back and forth on investing in a scent because of cost, I wouldn't think twice about purchasing from REPLICA, especially if it is a scent you know you're in love with! Would recommend (and I have) this product to anyone.

I LOVE this scent. It is not overpowering when sprayed in the right amounts. It is strong enough where others notice it when you pass by but subtle enough where it is not overwhelming.There is a subtle musk to it and the sea notes stick out. I have found that the fragrance best wears on me on my forearms, neck, or upper chest. 2-3 sprays is plenty!Honestly, if this was available in a "watered down" version, I would buy this in bulk and use it as a home spray and fabric spray around my flat. If the brand came out with a line for home/fabric sprays at an affordable cost, I would be first in line!
