Colorado is dry, although this spring and summer have been insanely rainy, nevertheless this powder foundation works in any condition: 10%-99% humidity! I was shocked at both its light feeling-silk/smooth/zero feeling at all, and its coverage. I use a thicker and shirt bristled foundation brush. Swipe a good amount on and brush-buff onto my face. If I am feeling like less, I'll do one coverage. More? Several. It's as though my face has been redone. All inconsistencies covered without looking like it. Pores all but disappear. Fine lines lessened. Shine obliterated. Dry areas look great. I swear this foundation is magic. The primer I use is NYX-Shine Killer with charcoal. These 2 products together have my skin looking nearly perfect for about 9 hours. Well, that's as long as I have makeup on, anyways. I'd rate it 10 stars if I could! I am 50 come January, too, for reference.

I purchased this looking for something sheer and matte, I don't like heavy coverage and tinted moisturizers and sheer foundations tend to be dewy which doesn't work with oily skin. I've been pleased with this, I apply it with a synthetic, loosely dense kabuki brush and it gives me just the right amount of coverage. It is buildable if you prefer heavier coverage. I've been pleased with this, I apply it with a synthetic, loosely dense kabuki brush and it gives me just the right amount of coverage. It is buildable if you prefer heavier coverage. Anything that involves rubbing or tugging at the skin makes flakes worse. I see some people saying it has been reformulated and I can't speak to that but I've owned mine for about 6 months and I think it is good quality, since it can't really be sampled though I'd definitely test it at a local Sephora or other cosmetics boutique. It is expensive relative to drugstore foundations but powder foundations tend to last forever so I can accept the price. This plays well with my other products (MAC concealer, YSL Touche Eclat for undereyes and MUFE HD Blush).
