Great little grinder. Good as its bigger 125mm blade size, quick break stop on it also.
The advantage of wireless is undeniable. Use with its 5ah batteries to keep a minimum of autonomy.
This is a great angle grinder with loads of torque. I bought it to supplement my 115mm non-brushless Makita angle grinder, which has a tendency to cut out when pushed to work, and relies on speed rather than torque to cut thing. This angle grinder is much heavier, and has a lot more torque. It seems to use less battery and it hasn't cut out on me yet. It drops a star because the disk guard quick release mechanism is bulky and restricts the cutting diameter. This could lead to users to removing the guard and operating it without to get a deeper cutting depth, or indeed to use up more of the disk. So Positive points are high torque and low battery use. Negative points are heavy and restricted disk diameter available due to overly bulky guard.
Apowerful convenient rool in a good box. Great buy.
Great Makita quality as usual.
Grinder arrived in good time, used it to grind shine off floor tiles and cut new tiles , batteries last about 15-20 mins using 5 ah batteries so make sure you have 3 or 4 so you can have one charging straight away if youve got a big project to do , and of coarse no cables , well worth the money .
