I bought this a few weeks ago to replace my 24 volt De walt which was very good but quite heavy and bulky, I have a 110 volt version of the Makita which I bought a couple of years ago for a job I was so impressed with it I'm now slowly buying the company tool by tool! I love this drill it's got more than enough power for the jobs I use it for, it is without a doubt The Mutts Nuts!!!

its a beauty, have not found a fault with it yet, hammers, driils and does chasing all in its stride Only really picky flaw with it that i found, is that once you have drilled a hole, you cant stand the drill upright on the floor to keep the drill bit away from the floor - it has to rest on its side with the hot drill tip about 1 cm from the floor

Makes my Bosche 24 volt look like a toffee hammer - brilliant piece of kit! Lightweight powerful didn't believe that an18 volt would have the power for heavyweight drilling - it does!
I bought it for light drilling and occational use. It exceeded my expectations in every area, it works longer than i expected happily drill 7mm holes (brown plugs) in anything. very impresses with item and company I dealt with.
