For the DIY novice G series tools are perfect. Quality but not massive expense. Good battery quick charge and doesn't need recharge after a couple of uses unlike other cheaper options.

The product is very well designed lightweight and easy to use. But the battery lets it down dreadfully. I found it didnt hold its charge and run out of juice too quickly. Thought it would perform much better.
Amazing replacement for my old battery that wouldnt hold a charge anymore. It was 5 years old. Im only a DIYer and this lasts all day for me.

Quick delivery, battery need charging about 70 minutes to be full, working time it's dependent of what you do. Brand new by makita so it's good recommendation. Works with my old HP457D so I'm really happy with the purchase.
Works perfectly straight out the box, charged 2 batteries straight away and very little heat transfer.
