what a great tool. really good apart from the vibration from the battery when clicked into place, it isn't the battery that is at fault as i've tried 3 now and 2 of them were new batteries.definitely problem with the tool and how it holds the battery hopefully have warranty on this itemapart from that wow what a great tool to own

Very comfortable to hold for long periods. Quieter than compressed air die grinders. Great for grinding welds flush. With 4ah battery lasts for a long time and do not have to worry about electric cables or air hoses getting in the way or restricting your movement in difficult situations.

i bought this to use when I couldn't be bothered firing up my compressor to use my air grinders. I wish I had bought this years ago! So much more power and speed :-) Only negative is that it only comes with a 6mm collet and half of the things I would use it for have 3mm shafts.
Arbor/collet too tight to fit standard 1/4 shank smoothly. All directions are in Korean only. Price was good.
Makitas choice to go for the metric 6mm collet instead of the 1/4" was a poor choice as most uk router bits dont fit in the collet. The extra 0.35mm means 1/4 inch bits will not fit
Great tool. You will probably never need it but that is not the point. If you don't have it, you will definitely need it at some point. So just get it. This is a tool of mass destruction. Who doesn't want a tool of mass destruction? The collet is 6mm and most 1/4" shanks will not go in. I happened to have a round metal file and 1/4" carbide burr (things you may never need, but when you need them, you NEED them). I attached the round metal file to a drill and worked on wearing the collet enough to start the 1/4" carbide burr into the opening. I was able to carefully and slowly open the 6mm collet enough to accept 1/4 shanks. If you try to drill it out it may shatter, so work it slowly. It will get there. Now the collet opening is large enough to accept 1/4 but also ... MoreGreat tool. You will probably never need it but that is not the point. AAwesome pice of kit where an angle grinder wont work We have 110 v ones but this battery one is ace. No lead to drag about it just works well. Very very impressed 100% one of my most useful tools in my limited kit. Would not be without the thing from now on
I brought this die grinder as I have the 110v version and needed a bit of versatility.since i've own it i've haven't used my 110v.very good tool
