I received a bottle of Marc Jacobs Pop Love in return for an honest review on influenster and Sephora. I am not knowledgeable about the proper adjectives to use when describing a fragrance. Please take that into consideration when reading! I want to say that the perfume smells like “sitting in a lounge chair with a cashmere blanket and reading or watching a great movie.” Happy and Cozy. I associate Marc Jacobs Daisy line with those types of scents. Why? Perhaps based on a sample from years ago? I actually do not know. When I received the product I was disappointed. Not a very nice thing to say – but it is the truth. I opened the box and smiled. The pink base of the bottle is soft and has a big white and lavender flower on top. You can’t look at this bottle and not smile. At this point I am thinking even if I don’t wear the perfume this will be sitting on my tray and make me happy to look at it. Go ahead – roll your eyes and smirk, but when you see the bottle in person I believe you will agree. Remember I went into this with a bad attitude, so the first sprays in the air hit me and I could only focus on the floral notes. But the scent quickly softened and more vanilla musk lingered. At this point I am open minded and spray it on my wrists and back of neck. Every once in a while I would sniff my wrist and really loved the perfume. A few hours later I was with two friends. After meeting for over an hour one friend mentioned how good I smelled. The main points are that the scent softens quickly, but will linger with a cozy, musky vanilla scent. I am super happy with this perfume and have since received compliments several times (today was the checkout woman at the supermarket). Basically I would recommend this scent! I love wearing it and have once again been reminded to always keep an open mind!

It’s definitely a feminine smell and makes me feel clean and pretty. I keep smelling my wrists. The team at Marc Jacobs did a great job with this. They’re definitely a no miss beauty brand.

Then the bottle, as always, the daisy bottles are works of art, but this one is so different to the normal it's fabulous. The bottle is covered in a solid matt pink with the greatest very large daisy on the top. The colours again are great, bright, and vibrant. Then obviously, the perfume I sprayed my wrist at 8am am now 9 pm, and the level of scent from this is still there. The addictive pretty floral aroma is for any age. I was really psyched when I found out that I was being given a chance to try out Daisy Love Pop by Marc Jacobs. I mean, who doesn't love the opportunity to try out a new product? I've had even decent quality perfumes give me a migraine, set my sinuses on fire, and leave me with red streaks and hives. It's not super delicate but also doesn't walk up and punch you in the face. It's balanced exceptionally well.I mentioned being apprehensive about new fragrances earlier. Thankfully this perfume didn't cause any issues with my sinuses or cause a migraine. It didn't leave any red marks or give me hives. My asthmatics were able to be around me without triggering an asthma attack or breathing difficulties.All in all, Marc Jacobs Daisy Love Pop is a definite win in my book. It's a quality fragrance at a fair price! I absolutely recommend giving it a try!

Super eye catching - bubble gum pink! I would be drawn to this bottle in a store. The scent is light and sweet - think pistachio ice cream! The description indicates raspberries and bergamot but I had a difficult time picking up those notes on me. I would consider this a nice spring or summer scent. Additionally, this scent feels young to me - like it would wear best on teens or young women. I felt it had good staying power as I could still smell it on myself after getting home from work. My only negative is that although it smells nice, there was really nothing special about it to me. The first spray initially reminded me of shopping at the mall when I was 16, many many years ago. It smells sugary sweet and a little synthetic while still remaining pleasant. The packaging is young and vibrant. The bottle is simple but absolutely adorable. It reminds me of Alice in wonderland for some reason. Unfortunately, the scent does not last long and was completely gone within an hour. I tried different things to combat this such as putting a little Aquaphor which isn't scented on my neck and wrist but it didn't help. I tried spraying a little on my clothes and hair, same thing. I even paid close attention to see if the scent would come back to life during a workout since it usually does with all my other perfumes, not luck. I first spritzed it into the air and noticed a sweet almost creamy scent that was heavy on the bergamot notes. It was nice, but honestly nothing special to me. I then sprayed it on my pulse points and wore it throughout the day. The part that really let me down was the sillage AND the projection honestly. Meaning that the fragrance did not last long on my skin at all and that nobody around me could really smell it on my either.
