Marcato Atlas Gift Set - 5 Types

I can't review properly at present as the item is a christmas present so won't be opened until Christmas. However, having done my research on what is a really good pasta maker and this brand came out on top. Plus it is also value for money and at some stage I will be purchasing the motor that goes with it. I do think the shipping is second to none and it arrived super quick. So, all up, a very good buy

I have only given this product 4 stars since we haven’t had a chance to use it yet so can’t comment on its workings. However, though expensive, the Pasta Maker is beautifully made in Italy and the quality is top shelf. It was recommended by Italian friends who make there own pasta. It even survived being dropped in transit without noticeable damage. A cheaper, less well made machine would not have survived.

Awesome pasta machine, high quality make and finish.

The Marcata Atlas 150 Gift Set and Tacapasta drying rack arrived quickly and in perfect condition, very well packed, it is exactly as described and really well manufactured. We love using it and having fresh pasta, it is so easy to use for first time pasta makers. The Tacapasta drying rack was also a great investment and would recommend anyone buying a pasta machine to also purchase the drying rack. Everton as usual are great to do business with and always a stress free purchase.

Good quality pasta machine

I have been wanting to buy a pasta machine for a while now and decided to do so a couple of weeks ago. I asked a couple of people about which brand to buy and decided on the Marcato after a friend told me that his mum still uses her Marcato that she bought about 40 yrs ago! It's a bit expensive but I wanted one that would last a few years. I've used it twice now. It's very easy to assemble and use. You need 2 people though, 1 to feed the pasta dough, and 1 to hold onto the flattened pasta as it comes out of the machine. I found it difficult to do it on my own. The handle fell off once, nearly hitting my friend on the foot, but I think this problem is common to all pasta machines. You just have to be careful. Great product, but even at the best of times, cleanup is a pain

Since going vegan, I've given up on raviloi, until now! The ravioli I've been able to make with this thing is in a completely different league to any ravioli I've eaten before. It's fantastic. The other pasta attachments are good too, I've made all the different pasta types, and enjoyed the results, though I wouldn't make plain pasta at home regularly, it's too much effort. The biggest effort in using this to make pasta isn't the pasta making itself, but the cleaning up afterwards, my kitchen always looks like a flour explosion. Also, be careful with the ravioli attachment, if you get any filling onto the wheels (my first attempt dough was too sticky and tore), it's terrible to clean up.

Great purchase

This is the rolls royce of pasta machines. I have used a cheap one in the past which used to jump about but the Marcato Atlas stays in place and making pasta is so easy with the Marcato because it is a quality product and so are all the attachments. So if you are thinking about buying a decent pasta machine, the Marcato Atlas 150 is an excellent choice and is strong and built to last. Keep it away from moisture and it will last a very long time

Marcato Atlas 150 Hits The Mark!

Previous unsatisfactory experiences with a pasta machine of durable quality had left me cautious about ever going in this direction again. But seeing others having great success led me to think that it was worth another go, especially if I could locate a machine with a good reputation. With advice from others including a professional cook, Marcato Atlas 150 became the clear option, and now having used it several times over, I can say that it is versatile, reliable, and certainly worth the few extra dollars more than I had paid for my first machine.

Unit was packed bent either as manufactured or in store. Packaging is/was in perfect condition. Emailed "Careyou" for advice. No response in last 24 hours.They claim "we always strive to do better"; they are starting from a low base. :)ps. I have bent the unit back into shape and it works, but it does not speak well to its quality.

Marcato pasta set.

The machine was delivered on time was beautifully packaged. The set itself is a delight to use especially for a first time pasta maker. I would highly recommend it to anyone. The machine is compact and appears to be of high quality in both design and manufacture. I am really pleased I purchased this product from Everten, great pricing, service.
