Marshall JVM215C 1x12 50W Guitar Combo
JVM215C The British-built, 50 Watt all-valve 1 x 12" JVM215C offers a more straightforward two channel preamp, Clean/Crunch and Overdrive, than the JVM410C's four channels, for guitarists who prefer a more stripped down, 'fewer frills' approach, and its single Celestion G12B speaker configuration means it is the most portable of the JVM combos. The two independent channels both have three modes. Each mode reconfigures the gain structure of each channel, making six modes in total, which take you from 'Plexi'/JTM45 cleans through JCM800 grunt to modern high gain tones. Equipped with the same groundbreaking technology as its big brother, the JVM410C, the JVM215C features two studio quality Reverbs (one per channel), with individual channel EQ, two Master Volumes, and a memory that will recall your Reverb, FX loop and Master settings.

I can’t even remember if I bought this amp here but AMS=awesomeness. I put this thing away for a few years and just got it back out. I am sooooo glad I just didn’t buy another amp like I did when I took this out of rotation. This amp does all things Marshall and does them very well. There’s a reason these JVM’s have been on the market for so long, they are really good amps with anything one would ever need as far as Marshall goes. I don’t think these get enough recognition. Noisy and very heavy little buggers though.

I'm a 40+ year experienced musician, with a gigging 5-piece band of pros playing a huge range of rock to rhythm and blues, raunchy to delicate. This amp really does so many things well, going from total metal to jazz with a footswitch, just what I need with this group. All six voices are really useful. The clean is clear and warm but not too bright. I've been a fender amp guy mostly, with a Quad reverb and a Peavey Delta blues and a few more, and I still love those amps, but the clean on this is sweeter, nothing harsh or biting as a fender-type can be; it has just the right amount of break-up. The Orange and Red crunch channels are excellent Stones/Blues, and the overdrive channels are sheer Marshall monster rock---great for soloing, with harmonic feedback at will ... MoreI'm a 40+ year experienced musician, with a gigging 5-piece band of pros playing a huge range of rock to rhythm and blues, raunchy to delicate. Orange is really Santana, and the Red channel is truly over the top, in a nice way. You can literally get infinite sustain out of it for any kind of song; it isn't just a metal channel. I'm glad I took the Marshall leap with this model. Very sweet roar. The beast just makes me smile. The speaker is a straight-on punchy metal speaker, and is perfectly fine, and the amp will melt the paint in terms of volume in most venues. I added an Egnator 2x12 Tourmaster extension and it added that level of bell-tone, and it's a perfect rig. The footswitch is quirky, though. Once you understand how it thinks, it's very handy, but it's a little weird at first. It would be nice to have a couple more buttons to pre-program, but it still is an incredibly fast way to instantly change the voice of the guitar without the oddities that sometimes come with modeling tones, which I've never liked. Absolutely a superior and incredible amp, you can't go wrong with this baby.

Really this an amp that does it all. Shimmery cleans, Hendrix OD, AC/DC Crunch, Hi Gain madness. Its like every Marshall ever made. I have owned blackstar S104 stack, and a boogie Dual Caliber 50 watt before this and this is the best. Yo really don't need 4x12 cabs these days. This thing mic'd up live sounds huge. All the legendary marshall tones in one tiny package which sits on the back seat of your car. Lound enough for most gigs I would say. Love the 2 volumes, perfect to kick in the 2nd volume level for soloing. No modeller, distortion or overdrive pedal will get you anywhere near this for rock tone. This is the real deal.

Tried to buy this Marshall JVM210c from a U.K. retailer....fiasco...great service from dv247. The amp is the most expensive but the best I’ve owned. Still getting to grips with how to set it up after just a couple of days. It’s inherently a high gain amp, and I think gain and channel volumes have to be down a bit, but two master volumes is a big bonus, and the amp just oozes good blues tones at the clean/crunch options. Overdriven it’s a beast. Warm distortion. Lovely. And I think it’ll get better as the speakers bed in. Very happy!
This is a fantastic amp, gets all the classic Marshall tones. I did not like the heritage speaker fitted. It makes the amp sound weak and thin, so I put in a Celestion G12t75 which is what they use in the big 1960 cabinets and it brought it to life, big deep classic Marshall low end and beautiful full almost fender like cleans. The footswitching on this lets youset it up well for performance. This amp does everything and does it well. You wont go wrong with this amp, but ditch the weedy thin sounding stock heritage speaker, it does not do this wonderful little amp justice. This is all the amp you will ever need and mic's up beautifully too and sounds as good as the full monty Marshall in the mix. This is all the amp you will ever need and mic's up beautifully too and sounds as good as the full monty Marshall in the mix. Its the real deal, made in UK EL34 Marshall with all the bells & whistles you would wish to have on a modern amp. The onboard digital reveb does the job but I love using my TC Hall of Fame and Flashback along with an MXR micro flanger in the effects loop. You get all the sounds going from clean to insane high gain and the high gain is like nothing I have ever had from any Marshall and is pure classic Marshall all the way to the top. I have onwed many many amps over the years looking for the one that suited me most, and this is it. I do not play in a hard rock band or a metal band. I play in a covers band that does everything. No modern modelling pedal can ever sound like this. Pro's still use real amps and pedals for very good reason. Get this amp and a few basic pedals for the effects loop (delay, reverb, chorus or flanger), maybe a compressor for the front end and you are well sorted for mostly anything. Its so small, reasonably heavy to carry but it does all you need. You do not need 100w and you do not need 4x12 cabs. This is the amp I always wanted. Marshall got this one just right. I tried out a DSL40..it was nice couldn't fault it either....but this one is far better with many switching and set up options.
I've had Marshall amps for a long time, and I had to sell my equipment a few years back. Now that I am back playing music again I needed another amp so I started with the digital Marshall amp but was not please with at all, then. I bought the DSL40c and was still not satisfied, so I did some research and discovered the JVM215c so I bought it and I saw that I wasted my time with the other amps. The JVM has the cleanest clear channel I have heard in a long time, deep tones, resonation is excellent and overall exactly was what I was looking for. This was in then first channel Green mode, when. I went to the yellow mode again, exactly what I wanted to hear, a little grit in the sound just perfect for nice rhythms, and you can adjust the gain and volume for your taste. ... MoreI've had Marshall amps for a long time, and I had to sell my equipment a few years back. And same for the second channel, Green, Yellow, and Red. Each channel has these, and they are adjustable. I give this amp 5 stars because it has everything a Guitar would want, the foot switch allows many options and settings which permits unlimited versatility on stage for the musician. If you want the sounds of the 60's 70's and beyond it allows you to adjust to those sounds and the ability to create new tones for you taste. I do believe it is pricy, but for me I had no choice I needed the sound so I made the jump to buy. This is a great amp, small enough and more power than anyone would need in bands, even large shows, just hook up line out to the P.A. And blow the crowd away.
Overall:Took 5 days to get here.....not 2 days as advertised. Arrived with box beat all to pieces, thanks to FedEx. 4 of the black plastic nuts that secure some of the various 1/4 jack inputs were missing. Found 2 in the bottom of the box, but the other 2 are gone....presumably fell out of one of the HOLES IN THE BOX. I guess I'll spend 10 more bucks to replace them, rather than worry about a return process ..smh. Very little padding in the box....only 4 foam corner pads...that's it. Luckily, I dont see any real damage. Amp seems to work so far, but I haven't put it through its paces yet, so we'll see. Very disheartening, considering the 2500.00 price tag. Fingers crossed.
I plugged this in at my house last night and absolutely enjoyed the sound that I heard. When I had my Fender Hot Rod Deluxe Gen 3, it took some time to break in from new. The sound was okay, but stiff; it took time to open up, as the tubes and speaker needed a break in period. This new JVM doesn't seem to require that break in period; it sounded really amazing immediately. I've been wanting a good, high gain amp, and I'm so glad to have found a good one that's versatile and useful for a ton of applications. Definitely the tone I wanted. The ONLY complaint is that, in my heart, I still love the spring reverb that my Deluxe had, and if I ever became famous enough to get a signature model, I'd try to get spring reverb on my units. Haha. But the digital reverb is really ... MoreI plugged this in at my house last night and absolutely enjoyed the sound that I heard. The JVM was my first choice for a professional grade amp. Had to rely on internet demo's to choose [music stores in my area do not stock the JVM's because they are expensive]. No regrets after receiving and playing it for a month. Has so many great features like the dual master volumes, decent reverb and a great footswitch. Sounds awesome at bedroom levels as well as turned up. Excellent Celestion speaker choice by Marshall. I also purchased the DSL 40c last year and love it, but I did not like the shared EQ. I was afraid the JVM might not sound much better than the DSL, I was wrong ! The JVM can get any DSL tone and more. A very versatile amp. It has more than enough gain, in fact too much for me. I like the Clean / Crunch channel for my style [classic / Southern rock] while the overdrive channel can be tamed into Marshall heaven. If your looking for an amp that can do just about any tone-this is it. My only complaint about the combo is the knobs feel very cheep with no friction or drag. Like turning a cheap radio dial. That is why I gave it 4 stars. Otherwise the build quality is good. I chose the JVM over Friedman & Mesa and do not regret my decision. It's a keeper.
I have had this amp for about a year now and i love it!!! This amp has 2 channels each with 3 gain stages and works great with my pedals! On the hottest channel this amp has so much gain you dont even need an overdrive pedal. You can easily get those satch and vai tones out of this amp with ease. Its also very loud if you dont like your neighbors lol! the clean channel is awesome as well you can get extreme pristine cleans out of it. i have 30 plus years exp and picky when it comes to my sound and I tell you this is the most versetile amp in my arsenal. I even have all the settings fairly low and have a great sound. I cant believe the overdrive in this amp when they say there most gain to date they are not kidding well worth the money all though they will most ... MoreI have had this amp for about a year now and i love it!!!
