Marshall Origin 20C 1x10 Guitar Amp Combo
The Marshall Origin20C represents a perfect fusion of classic valve tone and modern innovation, designed for guitarists who demand authentic Marshall sound with contemporary flexibility. This 20-watt combo amplifier features two built-in voices and Marshall's revolutionary Powerstem technology, which provides switchable power output between 20W, 5W, and 0.5W without compromising the sonic character of your tone. The single-channel design generates rich, harmonic tones through its complement of 3 x ECC83 preamp valves and 2 x EL34 power valves, paired with a 10" Celestion V-type speaker. The Origin20C excels as a platform for effects pedals, featuring a footswitchable FX loop and gain boost function controlled by the included PEDL-90016 footswitch. The innovative tilt control allows you to shape your sound from warm and full (left position) to bright and cutting (right position), giving you extensive tonal versatility from a single channel. Combined with the presence control for high-frequency adjustment, you can craft your signature sound across any volume level. Powerstem technology sets this amplifier apart by reducing voltage rails around the power amplifier rather than using traditional pentode/triode methods. This approach maintains optimal tone and performance characteristics regardless of your playing environment, making it equally suitable for bedroom practice, rehearsal rooms, or stage performances. The classic Marshall styling houses modern features that make the Origin20C an ideal choice for players seeking authentic valve tone with practical versatility.

I love this series amp, they are raw and vintage sounding, and best of all no thrills. I had the 20w head version and I still have a 20w combo. I am a fan of the Marshall JTM45, I have a reissue and a 1960AHW cab, but I use my Origin combo as a go to amp. I tried the 20w head through the big cab and sounded awesome. The only thing I dodnt think much of in the combo is the speaker, although sounds ok I put a 25w Greenback and sounded heaps better, but since its a 12 inch greenback its a bit tight so I am in process of building a bigger cab for my combo, thats a whole other story, otherwise I highly recommend these amps. I play blues, rock, hard rock, with right pedals even did some classic metal and sounded good, amazing pedal base.

The fit and finish of the cabinet is quite good. The amplifier functions properly and puts out a great sound from clean to distorted and everywhere in between. It does what you would expect it to do in a low power design.

A 5w valve amp, small in size, yes, easy to handle, yes, a conveniently sized combo yes... but it is anything but small in output. What a great little amp

Its a little strange at first but when you get it dialed in, its pretty cool. Of course Marshall isnt known for their amazing clean tone. But w some pedals, it really has cool overtones and sounds good. Mostly for rock.... But this is just a small practice amp. Dont expect it to sound like a Marshall stack...
IT'S A MARSHALL. It sounds like a Marshall. What more can you ask?!
Great little amp and really good value, however, stopped working shortly after purchase. Absolute music arranging collection to either repair or give refund. No quibble, excellent service.
Just sounds great. Awesome tone, perfect for small apartment.
