(27 reviews)

Experience the iconic Marshall JTM sound in a perfectly sized package with the Studio JTM head. This compact powerhouse captures all the legendary warmth and smooth tones that made the original JTM series famous, now engineered for modern players who need versatility without sacrificing that classic Marshall character. Built with traditional UK craftsmanship and all-valve construction, the ST20H features dual power settings that switch between 20W and 5W operation. The single channel design offers two distinct voicings, while the comprehensive tone controls including Treble, Middle, Bass and Presence give you complete command over your sound. Four instrument inputs with high and low sensitivity options accommodate any guitar setup. The valve complement consists of 2 x ECC83 preamp tubes plus 1 x ECC83 phase splitter, driving 2 x 5881 power tubes for authentic tube saturation. Multiple speaker outputs (16Ω, 8Ω, and 4Ω) provide flexible cabinet matching options, while the effects loop allows seamless integration of your pedal collection. At just 9.25kg and measuring 500mm x 240mm x 230mm, this head pairs perfectly with Marshall Studio cabinets for a complete compact rig.

I was eyeing one of these up since I saw all the launch videos.Having previously played reissue plexis and JTMs, I thought I’d take a punt on this. The offer being sold as B Stock clinched the deal for me.So far I haven’t tried it with the band but I’m super impressed. Can get a lovely breakup on the 5 watt mode at not too crazy volumes. The 20 watt mode sounds big and open.I’ve been pairing it with a zilla wide 1x12 cab loaded with a creamback 65.Also tried with a vintage 30 in a JCM800 1x12.Great amp so far, lots of tonal colour by balancing the jumpered channels.Even though it was B stock, there are no blemishes at all, so apart from an already opened box, brand new.

The Amp is awesome, the dealer is a disaster.

Unfortunately PMT seem unable to to deliver anything that hasn't been used already. Every time I buy something new from PMT, I get an ex-display item. Items arrive in the wrong box, sometimes in the box of a similar item, the packaging is loose carboard making contact with the item, accessories are missing, and yes user manuals are for something else!! Once, when I bought a Fender Hot Rod Deluxe and separate cab, they arrived in hand made cardboard boxes, the items had been wiped down with a wet rag leaving drying stains on them. The manuals and covers were missing, there were scuffs on the feet and PMT offered me £50 to keep them. I sent them back. This item arrived in an SC20H box with SC20H manual, clearly used with incorrect packaging materials. I sent it back ... MoreUnfortunately PMT seem unable to to deliver anything that hasn't been used already. Every time I buy something new from PMT, I get an ex-display item.
