I was a little skeptical at first that this 1x12 cab would be enough for my SV head. As soon as I got it and plugged it in I knew I made the right choice.Marshall did a fantastic job with this one. It's super lightweight and portable, and it sounds huge for a 1x12. Extremely happy with this purchase and I would urge anyone interested and on the fence to go for it. You will not be disappointed. Plus it's made in the UK, which for me is a huge plus!

I run my 20 watt Marshall studio vintage plexi through this amp and it sounds just like the old school tone I remember from the 1960s and early 70s rockers. Well woruj the price.
looks great sounds great perfect with my sv20 head
Love this cab. Really has a rounded low end which is needed with such a high end amp head. Aesthetically it has that old school charm and is just a sight to behold in my rig.Perfect for home and a small gigs.
Exquisitely well made, weighs less than some guitars in cases, looks beautiful under the SV20H for which its cosmetics are partnered. I don't have any other Celestion-equipped cabs at this time so I can't make any side-by-side comparisons, but I found the speaker to be a good fit for the open-back design and the SV20H. Did require some "settling in" to reach its full potential, so if you're on the fence about the V-Type speaker, try to give it several hours at maximum clean volume with a good mix of highs, lows, and full chords for break-in period. After two you notice an improvement, after ten the change becomes subtle, if even perceptible.Came with a speaker cable! Was quite excited to see that given that the head does too. Using them both in order to place an attenuator between, and didn't have to make an additional purchase. It is a tad pricey given the specs, but questions of "worth it" are up to the individual, you make that call for yourself. I think it's worth every penny.
To my ears at least, this amp delivers a plethora of classic Marshall tones. There seem to be a fair few guides out there for achieving specific sounds by playing with input and tone options. It cleans up nicely too. You can get that edge of breakup sound which is very sweet with single coils. I have not tried the amp with effects pedals yet. The effects loop is pretty much permanently home to a JHS little black box. That brings me to one potential deal breaker... this thing is loud. Even at 5 watts it's capable of melting faces. This may, or may not be a concern to you, but an attenuator, or a similar solution should allow you to achieve those smile inducing Marshall tones without aggravating your neighbours.
A fantastic Marshall cab! Sounds exactly as you would like & hope it to. Very light cabinet. It looks fantastic too! Some wood was split on the inside frame from the screws which was a little disappointing.
