Buy once. This is the push mower to have. It's weighty, Really sturdy, Wide and Easy to adjust the height of cut.Put together by a 9 yr old in 15mins.Put the bottom of the handles in first before bolting the middle and top of the handle together.

A great machine, cuts a wide swathe efficiently.

Despite its heaviness it gives me that little extra exercise to use it, just like using weights.

It's dangerous, the exposed blades don't allow safe construction. If you want to raise the cutter blades there isn't room to fit a spanner to loosen the nuts.Instructions aren't sufficient. It's only suitable for completely flat lawns. You also need concrete paths to manoeuvre the mower to the lawn, not gravel or other, as there is a long rubber roller at the back. It's badly designed and I don't recommend this to home use at all.Very disappointed.

Great as long as there’s no bumps or lumps

Instructions to put it together are not particularly great. Had to work out half of it by trial and error. Cuts great as long as you have no weeds or parts of grass that have bunched up. Also a real upper body workout.

Great unit for the price. Solid.

Lovely cylinder blade cut. My first reel/cylinder mower. Observations: a bit more uncut space to the sides where the wheels are compared to rotary. Easier than I expected to push. Doesn’t catch grass as well as a rotary mower with about 20% missing the catcher. Grass seems to be healthier and recover from mowing almost immediately. Great purchase. Quite heavy for its size which is good for mowing/blade momentum.

Heavy duty
12 September 2020

It's a heavy mower, but cuts well. The instructions were wrong and incomplete. For example, a diagram showed one of the brackets for attaching the catcher. The picture of the bracket did not match the actual part, and the diagram showed the left hand bracket where the right hand bracket should have been.

Sensational push mower - easy to do a quick mow and keep lawn looking healthy. First time using a push mower and leaves a cleaner cut than my rotary mower. Love this product!

The real deal
15 October 2020

If you've been watching lawn experts on YouTube and dream of that short lawn that only a cylinder mower can provide - but don't want to spend thousands on a powered one - this is the mower for you. It's solid, heavy and well built. No plastic in sight. It comes out of the box ready to go after you assemble the handle.Takes a bit of oomph to get going due to the solid build, but once it has momentum it floats over the lawn. Great traction from the chunky wheels and the quality of the cut is excellent. You won't go back to rotary mowing.
