Maui Moisture Lightweight Hydration Hibiscus Water Shampoo 385ml

I had actually previously used this product before and did not have a good experience, but that was a long time ago and I thought I’d give it another try. I don’t know what it is in this product that is so extremely irritating to my scalp, but I simply cannot use it. I will say the conditioner is slightly less irritating than the shampoo but they’re extremely similar. It smells super sweet and amazing it’s probably my favorite scent of any hair care product I’ve used but there is some ingredient that does agree well with my scalp. I would say the conditioner is moisturizing and it does make your hair feel nice once dry. I have wavy hair and it did benefit that hair type. It is silicon free (the only real difference compared to the shampoo), vegan, uses pure aloe and ... MoreI had actually previously used this product before and did not have a good experience, but that was a long time ago and I thought I’d give it another try. I would say the conditioner is moisturizing and it does make your hair feel nice once dry. I have wavy hair and it did benefit that hair type. It is silicon free (the only real difference compared to the shampoo), vegan, uses pure aloe and coconut water. No mineral oil, silicones, parabens, gluten, sulfated surfactants, synthetic dyes or ALES. It is for all hair types. You apply to wet hair, work through to the ends, wait 3-5 minutes and rinse. It is good for 18 months after opening and I do like how affordable and accessible this brand is. I really wanted to like this product but it simply does not work for me which is why I gave it only 2 stars which is mostly for the amazing scent.

I received these products for free from Influenster and Maui Moisture in exchange for my honest review. So the only good is it smells amazing, the packaging is cute, and it didn’t weigh down my hair. I have long curly hair but it’s not thick. Sadly these were a major fail for me. The shampoo seemed to knot my hair a TON and all 3 products (shampoo, conditioner and leave in conditioner) actually made my hair feel dry and not hydrating at all. I feel like the shampoo didn’t clean my scalp AT ALL and I even tried double shampooing and it didn’t help. The conditioner didn’t help with the knots at all and I lost a ton of hair trying to brush it. The leave in conditioner didn’t help at all either and I tried using a lot more too. Sadly this whole line is just a no for me ... MoreI received these products for free from Influenster and Maui Moisture in exchange for my honest review. I received this product for free from Influenster and Maui Moisture in exchange for my honest review. Firstly, this smells amazing! Both the shampoo and conditioner have a clean, soapy floral scent which I find that I really enjoy. I have low porosity medium density wavy/looser curly hair and I used these products for a few weeks before reviewing. My hair wasn’t weighed down and did feel hydrated and cleansed! I do think this could work for all hair types (my brother has very thick, tight curly hair and he used it) , but I did notice my hair shed a lot more and tangled after shampooing and drying. I really enjoyed the matching conditioner though! I do think it could work for a wide variety of people but if you have hair that is really dry or otherwise needs heavier ... MoreI received this product for free from Influenster and Maui Moisture in exchange for my honest review. I do think it could work for a wide variety of people but if you have hair that is really dry or otherwise needs heavier hydration or protein, I’m not sure this is the best shampoo/conditioner if you don’t also use a leave-in, etc.! For the price, I think it’s a great option for so many people, I think it’s definitely worth picking up and trying! Maui Moisture has so many products that are great to pair with these products or use instead of you find these aren’t for you!

I received this product for free from Influenster and Maui Moisture Hair Care for my honest review. My hair is naturally wavy with slight curls. I love that this product is Vegan and free from harsh chemicals. I love that the hibiscus water conditioner are vegan and free from harsh chemicals. I prefer the scent of watermelons in the summer and let me tell you, this smells more like watermelon than hibiscus. The conditioner bottle is beautiful. The shampoo felt hydrating until I had to rinse it off, which it then caused an almost friction sensation between my hands and my hair. It resulted in my hair feeling very dry. The conditioner helped with the hydration, but I do not apply it to the top of my head, which is where the shampoo left me most dry. I’ve been wanting to try this brand, so I was glad to be invited to this campaign. I have naturally curly, coarse, frizzy and color treated hair. It seems like I can never get enough moisture from any of my products. I am always hesitant to try a new shampoo because it usually leaves my hair dry and feeling like straw. The scent of the shampoo was very light and fresh, I couldn’t place what it was exactly, but it is definitely a floral fresh smell. The shampoo lathered well, and rinsed clean. It didn’t leave my hair feeling Strahl like, or squeaky. I coupled it with the Conditioner and leaving along with styling products, and had fantastic results. If you’re looking for a shampoo that adds moisture to your hair, is vegan and cruelty free, then I would recommend this ... MoreI’ve been wanting to try this brand, so I was glad to be invited to this campaign. Horrible!

My hair has always been super thin and frizzy. My friend has very long beautiful thick hair. So of course I asked her what shampoo she uses and she recommended this brand to me. At first I was very excited! The ingredients seemed nice, the bottle was fun, and the fragrance was wonderful. I washed my hair with this stuff for about a month and was obsessed with it, worked wonders. Until I noticed I was always pulling hair out of my brush. I then realized I would have hair EVERYWHERE, my bed, my car, the stairs, all over my boyfriend. I also noticed that my hair was snapping very easily. So I read a few reviews and noticed people were having similar issues. I immediately went home and threw the bottle out and started using Head Shoulders. It’s been about a week and my hair is not falling out and definitely not snapping as easily.

I LOVE this!!!!

First of all I just wanted to say this conditioner is amazing. I have used Maui shampoo and conditioner before and originally I was just trying to find the one I used to use for frizzy and unruly hair but I later realized it was not sold here at target. I went in person though and found this shampoo and conditioner and thought it was awesome. Like I said I used a different shampoo and conditioner from this brand but this one is amazing. I’ve noticed people saying it smells too strong but it only smells strong when you apply it when you rinse and dry your hair you barely smell it. I would recommend buying the same shampoo, it’s the same price and works amazing. Read the back of the bottles for instructions because you need to set a 3-5 minute timer before finding it ... MoreFirst of all I just wanted to say this conditioner is amazing. Once I followed the instructions and rinsed and dried my hair I automatically new this would be my new all time favorite shampoo and conditioner. My hair type also didn’t fit with the other ones. My hair is kind of damaged but not severely. It also is completely straight and thick and I couldn’t find one for hair like that so I settled for this one. Overall I think this was an amazing purchase and would definitely recommend in fact I just told my friend about it and she’s buying it now!
